Amon and Selena came to the other side of the portal.
The same kind of gate station came into view. It was made up of white marble.
Both of them exited the building. A white noble car was standing ready for them. A man wearing a black suit stood outside.
Watching Selena, he knelt on one knee respectfully before her. One hand rested on his chest. "Greetings, Your Highness. I'm honored to be able to meet you and escort you."
"Stand up."
The man stood up and bowed to Amon. "Welcome, sir," he said, then he opened the door of the car's backseat.
Selena gave him a nod and entered the car.
"Thank you, sir," Amon thanked the man and entered inside, sitting beside Selena.
The man sat in the driver's seat and started the engine.
Amon was surprised to see no one here except one driver. After all, Selena was a princess—a royal princess, not some normal noble. He had thought that Duke Luminous might personally come here to escort them. But he was wrong.
