Orion immediately activated The Seer, his eyes glowing golden, and he moved towards the direction he'd noticed the person.
His eyes scanned around a wide radius for any signs of the person or any traces of their presence.
It didn't take long before he noticed footprints, albeit faint.
He surged toward the place, Margaret struggling to keep up with him.
He got there in a few seconds, immediately activating Protocol.
"You're mine, ghost"
A few minutes later.
The forest had gone still again.
Orion slowed his steps, eyes half-lidded, Protocol stretching in silent arcs through the undergrowth. Every vibration, every echo of movement fed into his mind in calculated threads — all except one.
