The setting sun glowed softly against the tinted windows of the black luxury car gliding through the city. Inside, Lan Jiao sat with her younger sister Lan Rui, both dressed neatly in their Lan family premium silks. Rui rested her chin on her palm. "Sister, have you heard anything new about Mother Xinyue?"
