The room was quiet except for the faint sound of breathing. Sheets tangled across the bed, sunlight slipping through the curtains like it was too shy to look directly at what had just happened.
Anna lay sprawled across the bed, a small, content smile on her face. Her cheeks glowed faintly pink, her chest rising and falling in calm rhythm. She looked completely satisfied—like someone who had just gotten everything she wanted.
There was a faint trace of blood on the sheets, along with several damp spots that clearly showed the aftermath of what had just happened.
Ren, however, sat at the edge of the bed, shirt half-open and a frown creasing his forehead. His hair was a mess, his eyes staring blankly at the wall as if trying to decode some ancient text only he could see.
