As the class fawned over me, I rushed after my mates, leaving Nate who still wanted to speak even more behind. My feet tread on the unfamiliar path of the school, following the scents of my mates.
My brows creased, chest tightening and my heart beat so fast as my anxiety was through the roof. However, Seraphine didn't share the same sentiments.
"Why are they being such a child?" She sneered. "It's nothing! It's not like you are going to sleep with him at the ball. Things were just happening too fast, and you had to decide quickly..."
"I don't think you understand... " I hissed. "I would go crazy if the same thing was done to me by the boys. I went crazy the last time I thought they had something to do with Aria. It's the same thing now...ahh!"
It felt like I was in a whirlpool as my body was pulled to the side, straight into a dark room. I blinked my eyes and I became alert.
