Lightning Release Chakra Mode!

Though shaken to the core by the revelation that Obito was still alive, Kakashi knew this was no time for hesitation. If Uchiha Madara were to seize the Nine-Tails sealed within Naruto here and now, the consequences would be catastrophic.

Whether as an elite jōnin of Konohagakure… or as the leader of Team Seven… he had no choice but to stop Madara.

Even if he lacked the strength to defeat him outright, at the very least he had to buy time—enough time for Senju Haruto to return to the village.

But Lightning Release Chakra Mode alone wasn't enough. Kakashi forced himself into his second form, his body sparking with violent chakra, and hurled a strike straight at Madara.

Susanoo manifested again, effortlessly intercepting Kakashi's attack.

"Your speed is impressive," Madara remarked coolly. "But your power is far too weak."

Might Guy, when opening the Seventh Gate, had been able to crack Susanoo's very bones. Kakashi, for all his speed, could not even leave a mark.

His power… simply couldn't break through.

And this was already Kakashi's strongest technique.

"Sensei! Get clear!"

Naruto's voice cut through the air just as Kakashi was calculating how he might hold Madara back. Glancing back out of the corner of his eye, Kakashi's breath caught—Naruto had not only entered his Golden Cloak mode, but had also infused his Rasengan with elemental chakra transformation.

Wind Release: Rasenshuriken!

Kakashi immediately retreated, giving Naruto space.

The Rasenshuriken spun free from Naruto's palm, screaming through the air. The sheer density of its chakra left even seasoned shinobi speechless.

No one had expected this much raw power… from a genin of Konoha.

The moment the shuriken reached Madara, it tore straight through Susanoo's armor.

Then came the detonation.

"It worked!" Naruto clenched his fists in triumph. To him, nothing could withstand the force of the Rasenshuriken.

But then…

The massive spinning shuriken began to collapse, shrinking visibly as though drained.

Madara's eyes shifted—his Eternal Mangekyō spiraling and transforming into the Rinnegan.

"Impressive technique. But against me… useless."

With the power of the Preta Path, Madara absorbed the Rasenshuriken's chakra entirely.

"Madara!"

Sasuke, seeing Naruto's effort nullified, erupted with fury. His eyes bled as he unleashed his own Susanoo. The purple avatar enveloped him in its half-complete warrior form—far more than he had been able to wield before.

Even Madara paused to take notice.

"The Mangekyō Sharingan? At your age?"

He narrowed his eyes. When he had been Sasuke's age, he had only awakened the basic Sharingan. Yet this boy not only possessed the Mangekyō but could already summon Susanoo's form.

Though imperfect, it was a staggering feat.

"To think the Uchiha clan would produce someone like you…"

Madara's tone carried a rare note of admiration before his expression hardened.

"…But like your father, you were simply born in the wrong era. Once I gather every tailed beast, there will no longer be a place for shinobi in this world."

His voice was cold, absolute.

Terumi Mei, who had been listening carefully, caught on to the heart of his words.

"What do you mean by that—no more shinobi?" she demanded.

"I mean exactly what I said," Madara replied evenly. "When I have all the bijū, I will cast the world into an illusion—a dream where there is no war, no betrayal. No shinobi will be needed."

"This is the Infinite Tsukuyomi."

Madara revealed his plan openly, unconcerned. His confidence in his own supremacy was absolute.

In the face of overwhelming power, resistance was meaningless.

"…No," he muttered then, as if correcting himself. "There is one who could stop me. But he will not appear here."

And in his mind, the image of Senju Hashirama surfaced—the only man he had ever considered his equal.

"Then face me!"

Sasuke's voice rang out as his Susanoo drew back a bow, nocking an arrow. At its tip, black flames flared to life.

Amaterasu.

The arrow blazed with Itachi's most fearsome technique, a fire that consumed everything. Even Madara could not ignore such a strike.

The arrow shot forth like a meteor, aimed between Madara's eyes.

Sasuke held his breath. Amaterasu could not be absorbed, he believed. If Madara dared, the black flames would consume him utterly.

But…

The cost of fusing Amaterasu with Susanoo was immense. Pain tore through Sasuke's eyes before the result was clear. His vision burned, forcing him to his knees as blood streamed down his face.

Susanoo vanished in a wisp of smoke.

Sakura darted forward to tend to him, while every other shinobi stared at Madara, praying Sasuke's desperate strike had landed true.

Madara did not even glance at him.

Yes, the boy's potential was staggering. But he was still far too young. He lacked the battle experience, the chakra reserves… the will forged in countless wars.

That arrow had already been his limit.

And in the end, it was useless.

"Shinra Tensei."

With a whisper, Madara's invisible force scattered the black flames of Amaterasu as if they were smoke.

He was finished toying with them. For all their determination, these shinobi were simply too weak.

"This ends now."

His voice sank into a growl as the ground itself seemed to darken.

The Jutsu of the Falling Meteor!

The world shuddered as shadows spread across the battlefield.

Every shinobi raised their eyes skyward—only to see it.

A meteor of impossible size, hurtling down upon them.

Unstoppable. Unimaginable.

Like the hand of a god crushing the earth.

This was Uchiha Madara.

This was divine power.

One by one, weapons clattered to the ground as shinobi lost their strength to resist. Some dropped their kunai, others their swords.

In their hearts, the conclusion was the same:

Madara could not be defeated.

No one could stop him.

No one—except…

"...Naruto."

A low, guttural voice echoed inside Naruto's mind.

His breath caught. He recognized it instantly.

The Nine-Tailed Fox.

"Use my power," Kurama rumbled, his voice deep and resonant.

Better to fight alongside Naruto than be seized by Madara's hand.

"With your strength alone… you cannot stop Uchiha Madara."
