"What did you just say?!"
Banner's breath caught in his throat, icy dread washing over him. He wondered if he had misheard.
General Ross had created Abomination in his desperate pursuit of capturing Hulk.
If Abomination had defeated everyone, Banner could almost understand Ross firing a missile.
Almost.
But then Banner's eyes widened again—this time, his gaze fell on Senju Haruto.
Abomination was dead, yes. But Haruto was still here.
And now Banner recalled everything with terrifying clarity.
This boy—the one who could also transform into a Hulk—was the same one who commanded the entire mechanical apocalypse.
A being that powerful? Ross would never allow him to live.
But that revealed something else, something far worse.
If Haruto could transform into a Hulk, then his vitality was extraordinary.
Which meant if Ross was confident that his missile could kill Haruto…
Then it could just as easily kill Banner too.
Ross was abandoning his dream of capturing Hulk—just to erase Haruto.
The thought made Banner shudder violently.
Ross had lost his mind. He had thrown away reason, abandoning all logic for madness.
"We need to get out of here!" Banner shouted toward Haruto.
"Use a portal, Haruto!" Stark called, following up.
During the battle with Abomination, his Iron Man suit had sustained heavy damage; he couldn't even fly. To escape, they needed Haruto's power.
But Haruto had no intention of running.
"Ross…"
He murmured the name of that so-called "big man."
Ross had provoked him time and time again.
Very well. If that was the game he wanted to play, then Haruto would show him.
Haruto's spiritual energy expanded in an instant, sweeping across Broadway, locking onto those who hadn't managed to evacuate.
Among them were the elderly, women, and children.
Terrified by the chaos, they had no way to flee.
If the missile struck, they would all die.
These people meant nothing to Haruto.
He had no obligation to save them.
Their deaths would be on Ross, a consequence of the general's madness.
"Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Haruto's hands flashed into seals.
With both Six Paths chakra and the Ten-Tails' chakra within him, summoning tens of thousands of corporeal clones was effortless.
Stark and Banner froze in shock.
Haruto, still in Hulk form, created an army—every clone also a towering Hulk.
An entire legion of green giants materialized before their eyes.
Banner nearly stumbled.
He was terrified.
Stark's breath came in sharp gasps.
"Haruto… what are you doing?" His voice trembled.
Yes, Haruto had saved him twice. But he had also unleashed the mechanical apocalypse to slaughter countless soldiers.
If Haruto now declared he would wipe out New York's civilians, Stark wouldn't find it unbelievable.
And the horrifying truth?
It would be all too easy for him.
But Haruto's response was nothing Stark expected.
"There are still people on Broadway. If that missile lands, they'll die."
His words were calm, almost casual.
Then his eyes shifted—Byakugan activating.
From several kilometers away, he could already see the incoming missile.
His thousands of clones moved as one, opening portals and evacuating civilians to safety.
At the same time, Haruto used the Eye of Agamotto to calculate the missile's blast radius.
"Two kilometers…" His gaze sharpened.
This wasn't just a bomb. It was a biochemical weapon unlike anything he had ever seen, stripping oxygen from the air while lacing it with toxins.
Even in the Marvel films, nothing like this had ever appeared.
"So the military has been hiding weapons of this level…"
"No wonder Ross could act so boldly when dealing with superhumans. No wonder he demanded signatures on those accords."
Haruto smirked faintly. Yes—this was more fitting.
But Ross and the others had completely miscalculated.
Even if he did nothing, he could take the missile head-on and survive. Six Paths chakra ensured it.
After all, even Eight Gates Guy hadn't been able to kill Madara.
"What did you say?" Stark blinked, stunned, staring at Haruto in disbelief.
He had thought Haruto incapable of caring about others' lives.
But maybe… he had been wrong?
"Come here."
Haruto's voice was low, commanding.
If they wanted to live, they would stand at his side.
The missile drew closer, swelling larger by the second.
Then it struck.
Supersonic impact tore into Broadway's heart. A blinding flash erupted, followed by a devastating explosion.
The biochemical payload unleashed its fury—obliterating oxygen across a two-kilometer radius in seconds.
But Haruto's eyes shifted, Byakugan giving way to Eternal Mangekyō.
And Susanoo erupted forth.
Chakra given form—an armored giant, impenetrable.
Defense absolute.
"What… is this?"
Banner looked around in shock.
He felt as though he stood in a sea of fire, yet no heat touched him.
It was surreal. Astonishing.
Haruto's power left him shaken to his core.
Yes.
Banner was now certain.
This was the man he had been searching for.
The one who could solve his greatest problem.
The one who could end the Hulk.
Stark, meanwhile, fell into silence.
He watched Haruto's face from the side, unable to read him.
Every time he thought he understood, Haruto shattered his expectations.
Again and again.
And again.
This was the third time Haruto had saved his life.
High above, inside a military helicopter—
Ross held his breath, eyes locked on the live feed.
Desperation clawed at him as he searched for Haruto's corpse.
But when the smoke cleared, what appeared was not a corpse.
It was a warrior.
A towering figure of chakra armor, at least ten stories tall, standing amidst Broadway's ruins.
"What… what is that?"
Fury froze, stunned.
He realized he had underestimated Haruto once again.
Perhaps… his power was no less than Captain Marvel's.
And then—
The giant warrior surrounding Haruto unfurled its wings.
It beat them once.
And the colossal Susanoo rose into the sky.
