Chapter 443 - Chapter 443

Although he had agreed to let Stark study magic at the New York Sanctum, Senju Haruto wasn't in any hurry to guide him personally.

Something like that could easily be left to Arthur. There was no need for Haruto to waste his own time teaching the basics.

Right now, he had another task to handle—

Visiting the Bar With No Doors.

And signing in.

Haruto was especially eager for this particular sign-in reward.

Though the Bar With No Doors never appeared in the Marvel movies, it was a legendary location within the Marvel world. None of the patrons who gathered there were ordinary.

Judging by that alone, Haruto was certain this sign-in reward would be worth looking forward to.

The only issue was… he wasn't entirely sure how to get there.

Until the system's little assistant mentioned it, he hadn't even realized the Bar With No Doors existed.

Still, that didn't mean he couldn't find it himself.

As a transmigrator, Haruto knew the bar was located somewhere in New York City. At worst, he could expand his spiritual perception across the entire city. Surely some trace would lead him to it.

And with the power he now commanded, even forcing his way in wouldn't be impossible.

But… there was no need.

After parting ways with Stark and Banner, Haruto sought out Arthur first.

He instructed Arthur to arrange for Stark. From today onward, the famous Iron Man would officially be an apprentice of the New York Sanctum.

Normally, a magical apprentice should have traveled to Kamar-Taj to study under the Ancient One. But with Haruto's overwhelming strength—even the Ancient One herself sometimes felt overshadowed.

With such a powerful guardian stationed in New York, certain rules could be… bent.

Arthur, whose status ranked just beneath Haruto, had no problem guiding Stark. But since Stark knew nothing of magic, he was like an infant—any sorcerer in the Sanctum could have served as his teacher.

After some thought, Arthur decided to hand the task to Anna, letting her become Stark's first instructor.

Haruto had no objections.

Stark wasn't particularly important to him anyway.

"Arthur," Haruto asked casually, "have you heard of the Bar With No Doors?"

That settled the Stark matter. Now it was time to address his next concern: how to get to the bar.

The Bar With No Doors welcomed all sorts, but many of its patrons were sorcerers. Some were wanderers drifting across the world; others hailed directly from Kamar-Taj.

Either way, its existence wasn't exactly a secret among mages.

"Mhm. Been there plenty of times. The tequila's not bad," Arthur replied with a small nod, speaking fondly of the place.

In fact, not only Arthur—many sorcerers of the New York Sanctum had visited. When the pressure became too much, drinking away their burdens was a popular outlet.

So Arthur wasn't surprised Haruto would suddenly bring it up.

Thinking it through, he reasoned Haruto must have overheard people talking about it. After all, Haruto had come from Kamar-Taj, and judging by his complexion, he didn't look like a local New Yorker. Curiosity about the place made sense.

Arthur filled in the blanks with his own assumptions.

"Want to go grab a drink?" Haruto asked with a faint smile tugging at his lips.

Of course, his real purpose was the sign-in. But that didn't mean drinking couldn't be part of it.

"Of course."

Arthur didn't hesitate. He was already fond of the bar's tequila. Even if Haruto hadn't asked, he would have gone himself later in the evening.

Now that Haruto suggested it? How could he refuse?

In fact, Arthur even considered it an honor to be the one footing the bill.

"Good. Then lead the way."

Haruto gave his answer quickly, signaling for Arthur to take him.

Since this trip was about signing in, Haruto didn't bring Kaguya, Stark, or Banner along.

He followed behind Arthur, exchanging small talk as they walked.

Arthur, for his part, couldn't help but daydream about Haruto's abilities—The Machine Plague. Susanoo. Even the Hulk transformation.

Though not all were truly magic, Arthur had mistaken them for such, and they fueled his admiration.

But given their current relationship, he swallowed his questions, keeping his eagerness buried.

"Hah…"

Arthur exhaled deeply and came to a halt in a deserted alley. Night had already fallen over New York, and the pale moonlight stretched their shadows long against the ground.

"This is the place," he explained.

"Here?" Haruto glanced around.

The spot wasn't dirty or rundown, but it didn't fit with the bustling New York atmosphere either. More importantly, there was no door or window—just a seamless wall.

"By the way, Haruto—if you ever want to come here alone, don't use a Sling Ring," Arthur cautioned.

Haruto nodded, not bothering to ask why. He didn't care. He wasn't here for the drinks anyway, just the sign-in.

Once that was complete, the bar would lose all value to him. He might never return.

"There's a powerful barrier set around the Bar With No Doors," Arthur went on. "It makes it nearly impossible for outsiders to even notice it's here. But for us, it's the perfect place to unwind."

A smile spread across his face as he lifted his palm to the wall.

Green light shimmered from his hand, rippling outward like water. The glow spread across the entire surface, transforming the solid wall into something like a crystal-clear lake under the moonlight.

The already-mysterious bar now radiated an even greater allure.

"Please, come in," Arthur invited.

"Mhm."

Haruto gave a short response and stepped forward without hesitation.

As he passed through the wall, warmth flowed over him, as though he were sinking into a hot spring. The sensation was surprisingly pleasant.

On the other side, classical music and the murmur of voices filled his ears.

He looked around. The bar was larger than he had imagined.

And just then, the familiar voice of the system's assistant chimed in his head:

Congratulations, Host, for successfully reaching the sign-in location!

Sign-in begins now!
