Chapter 446 - Chapter 446

"Chaos Magic?"

"Only the movie version?"

When Senju Haruto saw that his latest sign-in reward was Chaos Magic, he couldn't help feeling surprised.

Across the entire Marvel universe, Chaos Magic was a force of terrifying power.

What puzzled him most was that all his recent sign-in rewards had been comic-book versions of abilities. Naturally, his first thought was of the Scarlet Witch from the comics.

Anyone even slightly familiar with Marvel knew just how devastating the Scarlet Witch's Chaos Magic was.

It was true super-magic—the kind that could rewrite reality itself, alter probabilities, and reshape the world at will.

In fact…

In Marvel's great storylines, the Scarlet Witch had once uttered a single phrase: "No more mutants."

With just those words, over ninety percent of mutants vanished. An entire people plunged into despair.

Still, even if it was only the movie version, there was no room for disappointment.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Wanda Maximoff was still terrifyingly powerful.

In Avengers: Endgame, she had nearly killed Thanos single-handedly with Chaos Magic. If Thanos hadn't ordered his troops to rain down fire in desperation, the battle would have ended right there.

"Even if it's only the film version, Chaos Magic is still strong enough to destroy the Infinity Stones," Haruto murmured to himself.

He cast Madame Viper aside, ignoring her entirely.

His lofty indifference in front of such an audience made her blood boil.

The humiliation was unbearable—especially here, under the eyes of so many.

Her body jerked upright from her seat, veins standing out on her forehead, her eyes bloodshot. She had never experienced such scorn.

Drawing in a sharp breath, she opened her crimson lips, and a spray of green venom shot from the tip of her tongue.

This was one of the reasons she was known as Madame Viper.

Not only had she signed a pact with the Elder God Chthon, she was also a master of poisons. To ensure she always had the element of surprise, she had hollowed out her teeth into vacuum chambers that stored deadly venom, ready to strike without warning.

A streak of virulent green arced straight for Haruto.

Even the enchanted robes of the New York Sanctum would be powerless against such a toxin.

But—

Just as Madame Viper anticipated her ambush landing true…

Red particles of magic drifted outward from Haruto's chest.

He remained seated, utterly unmoved, as if her attack wasn't even worth a thought.

Calmly, he lifted the glass of tequila from the table, swirling it gently.

The venom, caught midair, was wrapped in red motes before being pulled downward to the floor.

"For a core figure of Hydra, this is all you've got?" Haruto said coolly, downing the tequila in one swallow before setting the empty glass on the table.

More scarlet energy pulsed from him, radiating outward.

This was neither white magic nor black.

It was something else entirely—a third kind of sorcery.

In the MCU, only Wanda Maximoff had ever wielded it.

Now, that same energy surrounded Haruto, forming a shimmering barrier that wrapped him in a crimson shield.

The sight left the No-Door Bar in stunned silence.

Every guest remembered Arthur's respectful behavior toward Haruto earlier. Every whisper of gossip about the next Sorcerer Supreme echoed in their minds.

Two things became certain:

Madame Viper was doomed.

And the power Haruto commanded must have come from the Vishanti themselves—the trinity of gods who granted white magic.

The revelation sparked envy and awe alike.

But the moment Haruto released his spell, reality shattered their assumptions.

This wasn't the Vishanti's white magic.

This was something else entirely—something alien and terrifying.

Not everyone present knew the term "Chaos Magic," but they all felt the crushing weight hidden in those crimson particles.

It made their very souls tremble.

"That ability…"

Madame Viper's eyes widened. None of her intelligence reports had ever mentioned Haruto wielding such a force.

Her knowledge was blank on the subject—yet at the same time, a dreadful familiarity struck her.

It was like standing before Chthon himself.

That overwhelming, annihilating presence.

Enough to drive one to despair.

"Madame Viper."

Haruto rose slowly, his voice low and cold, his eyes sharp as blades.

"You struck without knowing a thing about me. In this world, there may be fools—but none quite so stupid as you."

"Do you not understand?"

"Every battle is a war of information."

He stepped forward, Chaos Magic flaring unstable around him.

Viper's subordinates finally snapped into action. Realizing the danger, they drew their weapons, hoping to overwhelm Haruto with firepower.

Arthur saw it too. He began chanting a spell, ready to back Haruto.

But before he could even finish the first syllable, Haruto's Chaos Magic expanded outward.

In an instant, scarlet motes enveloped all of Viper's men.

Not one escaped.

Before they could scream, before they could even gasp, their bodies unraveled into atoms, disintegrating into nothingness.

Madame Viper turned, her blood running cold. Haruto's power shocked her to her core once more.

Yet she was not easily cowed. She was Madame Viper of Hydra—feared across the world.

Even before Chthon, she had never once bowed her head.

Her pact had granted her eternal youth and mastery over black magic.

Fear had never been in her nature.

Now, seeing Haruto bearing down on her, she whipped a green, venom-coated lash from behind her back and snapped it toward him at a bizarre angle.

The poison smeared on the whip was one of her deadliest creations. Contact meant paralysis, helplessness—death.

Her speed and precision made her confident she wouldn't miss.

"Madame Viper," Haruto said coolly, eyes narrowing, "if I'm not mistaken, you signed a pact with that old monster, Chthon."

"Yes, he's one of the rare masters of black magic. He gave you immunity to all toxins in the universe, made you a mistress of poisons. But it's strange, isn't it? Your venom means nothing to me."

He dismissed her strike with disdain.

Against the sheer might of Chaos Magic, her tricks were meaningless.

Realizing things had gone badly, Viper yanked her whip in a feint and tried to retreat.

But Haruto's red particles moved faster.

In less than a breath, the crimson energy shot forward, wrapping tightly around her neck.

Her body jerked upward as her heels lifted from the floor.

Her hands clawed at her throat, but the constriction was unbreakable.

A suffocating, agonizing pressure filled her chest.

Panic finally sank in.

And Madame Viper—Hydra's infamous mistress of poison—found herself utterly powerless.
