Chapter 530 - Chapter 530

Mjölnir crackled with thunder in Thor's grip as he shot into the sky like a lightning bolt, his hammer blazing with electric fury that split the darkness and lit up the night.

His eyes burned with determination as he dove back down toward the Destroyer.

Sif, the Warriors Three, and Hawkeye exchanged quick, silent looks — then all stepped back at once, clearing space for the battle that was about to unfold.

"This should be enough to finish that thing," Coulson muttered, taking a long breath as he watched Thor descend like a meteor. He thought this was it — the end of the incident.

"Yeah," Senju Haruto nodded lightly. "It should be."

In the Marvel movie universe, the Destroyer and its comic version were two completely different monsters. The one here was the film version — dangerous, yes, but nowhere near the level of cosmic threats.

Even the unawakened Thor from the movie had stood a chance against it. Now that Thor had regained his godhood, there was no need for Haruto to intervene.

He figured once this battle ended, Thor and his companions would return to Asgard to confront Loki — closing out this entire timeline.

But just as Haruto was preparing to relax, that familiar mechanical voice echoed in his mind again.

"System prompt: Host, please proceed to the Bifröst Bridge to sign in!

Successful sign-in will grant a reward!"

Haruto blinked. The Bifröst?

Of course — Thor destroying the Bifröst was one of the most iconic moments in the Marvel saga.

If it was a "landmark event," then it made sense the system would demand a sign-in there.

Still, that meant he'd have to head to Asgard personally.

While these thoughts flickered through his mind, the battle raged on.

Thor dove headlong toward the Destroyer, unleashing a storm of lightning from his hammer. Thunder roared as bolts struck the armored behemoth head-on.

But to Thor's surprise, the Destroyer's metal shell didn't even scratch.

Its armor was tougher than anything he'd imagined.

The monster's eyes glowed orange as it suddenly raised its arm and grabbed Thor's face, slamming him to the ground with brutal force.

Then, with mechanical precision, it dragged Thor's head across the dirt like it was grinding him into the earth.

Thor struggled with all his might, twisting, punching, calling the storm — but the Destroyer's grip didn't loosen for even a second.

In desperation, he threw Mjölnir with all the strength he had left, sending it spinning through the air before calling it back again — hoping the hammer's returning force could break the creature's hold.

Seeing Thor pinned, Sif and the others broke into a sprint, ready to rush to his aid —

But Thor's furious roar stopped them cold.

This was between him and Loki.

No one else was to interfere.

Against the Destroyer, their help would only get them killed.

For Thor, their nonintervention was the greatest support they could give.

Reluctantly, Sif and the Warriors Three halted, watching helplessly.

The Destroyer suddenly released Thor's face — only to seize his leg instead.

WHAM!

It swung Thor like a ragdoll, smashing him into the ground again and again, the sound echoing like thunderclaps.

In Asgard, Loki watched through the Destroyer's eyes, leaping to his feet in elation.

"Yes! That's it!" he shouted, pumping his fist.

Even if Thor had regained his divine powers, Loki believed the outcome was inevitable.

The Destroyer was Odin's ultimate weapon — second only to the spear, Gungnir.

No one could withstand it.

But the fight wasn't over yet.

Mjölnir, which Thor had hurled moments ago, whirled back through the air and struck the Destroyer's back with an explosive boom!

The impact hit like a falling star, shaking the ground beneath them.

For the first time, the indestructible giant staggered, nearly losing its balance.

Thor seized the moment — tearing himself free, summoning Mjölnir back to his hand, and spinning it with fierce speed.

Winds howled around him.

The sky darkened as storm clouds converged, forming a colossal black vortex that blotted out the rising dawn.

Jane Foster, Erik Selvig, Hawkeye, and Coulson could only stare, their mouths hanging open.

The storm and the lightning — the two most powerful forces in nature — bent to Thor's will as if they were extensions of his body.

For ordinary humans, the sight was beyond comprehension.

The Destroyer, regaining its footing, suddenly found itself caught in the storm's pull.

The tornado roared, dragging the armored monster upward despite its immense weight.

It struggled, thrashing against the vortex — but even its power couldn't overcome the fury of the storm.

The strongest weapon of Asgard was trapped in Thor's tempest, its armor sparking under relentless lightning strikes.

Haruto watched silently, his eyes narrowing slightly.

He remembered this scene clearly — in Thor's movie, this was the moment when the God of Thunder destroyed the Destroyer completely, reducing it to fragments of uru metal.

Those fragments were never shown again — and Odin never reforged the weapon.

A deafening explosion split the air.

BOOOOOOM!

A shockwave blasted outward across the New Mexico desert, flattening everything in its path. Buildings, cars, power lines — all torn apart in an instant.

At the critical moment, Haruto stepped forward, raising his hand.

A white, translucent barrier of magic spread before him, absorbing the full brunt of the blast.

The wind howled and screamed — and when it finally died down, the barrier shimmered away.

Sif and the Warriors Three turned to stare at him, wide-eyed.

A human. A Midgardian. Using magic.

None of them had expected it.

As the storm faded and the clouds dispersed, Thor dropped to his knees, completely drained. The attack had taken everything out of him.

Everyone's eyes turned toward the smoking crater, waiting for the sight of shattered armor — for proof the Destroyer was finally dead.

But then—

The ground trembled.

From within the crater, the Destroyer slowly stood up, blackened but intact.

The once-glimmering uru metal was now scorched and dark — yet not a single piece of it was broken.

It was still whole.

The Destroyer had survived Thor's full power.

This one was far stronger than the movie version.

"…Not even cracked," Haruto muttered, frowning slightly. He understood now — this wasn't fiction. This was reality.

And in reality, there were no cinematic conveniences.

With Thor's current strength, defeating the Destroyer was impossible.

Worse still, that last attack had drained nearly all of Thor's energy. He could barely stand, his breath ragged and shallow.

The Destroyer's glowing eyes turned toward him, unrelenting.

Meanwhile, in Asgard, Loki had been holding his breath the entire time.

When the Destroyer reemerged from the storm unscathed, he finally exhaled in relief, his lips curling into a wicked smile.

Thor was powerful — but not powerful enough.

"Kill them all," Loki commanded coldly, his throat dry, his voice trembling with anticipation.

"Destroyer — finish them!"
