The Iron Tail was as hard as a hammer, meeting Shiftry's Leaf Blades head-on.
"CLANG-CLANG-CLANG!!" "Rai-Rai... Raichu!"
The two Pokémon clashed on the battlefield. Shiftry's Leaf Blades slashed like a gale, while Raichu blocked each attack with its Iron Tail.
Grass-type moves were resisted by Steel-type moves, so even with STAB, Shiftry's Leaf Blade could be narrowly blocked.
"Froakie, Water Pulse! Keep attacking and try to stall the Mightyena. Be careful."
Satoru's expression was serious as he gave Froakie its task.
