Larissa's POV
I just knew that Evelyn had something against Lady Gina. Whatever it was, it had to be strong enough for lady Gina to change her testimony…
"Did you hear what she said?"
Joanna's face turned into a frown as she tried to explain what she had heard.
She seemed hesitant at first, but I could tell whatever she heard should be said in hushed tones..
"Tell me Joanna, there's nothing that could possibly surprise me anymore."
Joanna leaned close and whispered into my ears. I thought I couldn't have been any more shocked by Evelyn, but I was wrong!
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"It might mean something else, my lady, but from the look of things, I believe that's the case."
If there was one thing we shouldn't do, jumping to conclusions would be one of it.
"We can't be so sure, Joanna. Lady Gina might also have something about Lady Evelyn. They are both trying really hard to protect their own secrets"
