Anya left and arrived at her usual hometown, entering the familiar Aimashi Room to test her luck. Unlike before, today her luck was terrible. Without using any gambling techniques, she lost several rounds in a row. The money in her hands slipped through her fingers like water.
Even the surrounding gamblers noticed. They waited for Anya to place her bet, then chose the opposite position to wager.
When Anya decided to leave the casino, one could still see the reluctant looks in the gamblers' eyes.
"Big Brother Kurotsuchi, how much did you win?"
Outside the casino, three official members of the Zero Organization from Sunagakure had arrived. Kakuzu spoke first. He was quite familiar with this casino, having once lost money here, and still held a grudge.
"I lost. All the money I brought is gone. Nothing like a little poverty to clear your mind," Anya shrugged it off casually.
"All of it?" Sasori frowned. "Big Brother Kurotsuchi, were you cheated? Let me go check."
Kakuzu's eyes flickered and he prepared to follow.
Anya grabbed both of them, shaking her head with a slight smile. "Just bad luck. Nothing to do with them."
"Right, if you two go in, this casino might not exist anymore," Mabui knew well enough how violent Kakuzu and Sasori could be.
Sasori stopped, his gaze complicated. "Big Brother Kurotsuchi, you've seen the intelligence report. I want to know—what's your decision now?"
"Facing it, of course." Anya released the two, hiding her expression. Yet her killing intent, heavy and real, hadn't faded. It lay buried like a sunken stone in the depths of her calm eyes. "I wanted to change the world anyway. Since they came knocking, I might as well start with a little cleansing."
Kakuzu wasn't convinced. "Big Brother Kurotsuchi, the Four Great Ninja Villages uniting isn't a joke. I can't even see your edge."
"What coalition? Hey, explain clearly," Mabui didn't know the details yet and was practically bursting with curiosity.
"Nothing much, just the Four Great Ninja Villages uniting to attack Konoha," Anya said calmly, her tone dripping with disdain for the four villages. "If I go all out, no matter how many come, they all die. Sasori, Uncle, help me."
Ignoring Mabui's shocked open mouth, Sasori agreed immediately. "Fine."
Kakuzu hesitated briefly before speaking. "Big Brother Kurotsuchi, I just need you to trap them. No need to fight them head-on." Anya took out a scroll from her sleeve. It contained a forbidden technique originally from the Scroll of Seals. She'd never imagined she'd use it, but this time it came in handy.
"What is this?" Kakuzu curiously took the scroll and opened it. It turned out to be a barrier ninjutsu—the [Four Red Yang Formation].
Anya said, "This barrier requires four elite ninja whose chakra reserves have reached the Kage level to gather together. You only need to deploy a red, transparent barrier shaped like a rectangle, surrounded by flames, from the east, south, west, and north directions. Once successfully set up, this barrier will isolate everyone inside from the outside world. In addition, red flames have been imbued into the barrier—if anyone touches the four walls, they will be burned."
"But we only have two people here. Even with you, we're only three. Moreover, even if we trap them inside, what do we have to kill them with?" Kakuzu was impressed by the barrier's power but still couldn't see a path to victory.
"I'll take care of them inside," Anya had already calculated everything in advance. "As for the personnel to set up the formation, besides the two of you, there are two other Kage-level experts—Hanzo and Orochimaru."
"Almost forgot about that demigod. As for Orochimaru, I don't know much about him—will he actually come?" Kakuzu was doubtful. Taking on an alliance force single-handedly just seemed like madness.
Anya's eyes gleamed. "We can directly notify Hanzo using Heavenly Transfer Technique. If he refuses to come, we'll eliminate him first. As for Orochimaru, I'll go in person to invite him. I must fight this battle. I won't hide from you—the disappearance of Empress Megatron has been eating at me for a long time, and my heart has been filled with suppressed anger. In the past, I was too merciful. That won't happen anymore."
Under Anya's familiar brows and eyes burned a gaze full of hatred and determination. The Blade of Indifference in his hand hummed loudly, and the veins on his arm bulged as he gripped the sword tightly. After years of sword training and countless brushes with death, this was the coldest moment he had ever felt, and the first time he had declared his killing intent without hesitation.
No one could tell what his current heart felt like, but Sasori understood clearly—after this, when Big Brother Kurotsuchi acted, no one would ever be able to sway him again. At this moment, his determination to change the world was revealed completely without reservation.
Kakuzu seemed to be seeing Anya for the first time ever. Finally, he nodded and said, "Count me in."
Mabui looked at the three madmen before her and felt utterly out of place.
After saying goodbye to the three, Anya once again arrived at the Grass Village. The flames of war still raged there, with signs of buildings burned everywhere, and some uncollected corpses scattered across the ground.
Ignoring the ongoing battles throughout the Grass Village, Anya went straight to the outside of Orochimaru's laboratory.
Orochimaru was surprised and pleased by Anya's unexpected visit. With his charming, magnetic voice, he said, "What? Have you finally made up your mind? Become my future right-hand man. You really don't need to care about those small fries. All wars are trivial in the face of time. I can give you my complete trust."
But Anya declined Orochimaru's enthusiastic invitation: "Uncle, sorry. I came here this time seeking your help."
Orochimaru frowned, his face instantly showing disappointment, and his tone turned cold: "I always thought you were a smart person, but it seems you're just as foolish as those people from Konoha. You may leave."
Orochimaru immediately issued a dismissal.
"I haven't come empty-handed. If I'm asking for your help, I naturally have enough price to pay."
These words from Anya immediately sparked Orochimaru's interest: "Oh? Let's hear what you have to say."
"I'm from the Uchiha Clan. You probably already know that."
"Of course." Orochimaru clearly knew already, but he didn't seem particularly impressed by Anya's identity. He casually remarked, "Just the Sharingan. Nothing special."
Orochimaru, who had researched many Kekkei Genkai, naturally had studied the Sharingan as well, though his research had only reached the level of the Three-Comma Sharingan.
Anya activated his Sharingan, and the three-comma pattern within his eyes rotated, transforming into a Mangekyo Sharingan.
Orochimaru's eyes changed—his serpentine pupils narrowed into vertical slits. "What kind of Sharingan is this?"
Anya answered his question directly: "It's an advanced form of the Sharingan called the [Mangekyo Sharingan]. The power it contains far surpasses that of an ordinary Sharingan. My Mangekyo contains the ability to control the power of time itself."
Orochimaru instinctively extended his tongue to lick his lips. His pupils dilated with excitement as he murmured, "Truly a pair of perfect eyes."
