I knew that this was so much to ask from Alex; that was why I needed to plead with him to consider staying by Cassandra's side until she wakes up, and he agreed to stay, to my relief.
"Good, I'll be right back. "I need to step out now with Taylor," I said to Alex, who nodded his head in agreement, and just as I walked towards the door, Taylor followed behind me; he hurriedly got the car while we drove out of the gate.
"What is our direction, sir?" He asked immediately after we came out of the gate, and I pointed him to the left.
The left side from the gate was the direction I rarely took, and whenever I was going that way, it only meant one thing: I wanted to go and speak to my father.
