I was staring at Taylor wondering why he had not given me that information earlier, and even though he said he thought it was just one of those scandals that would fade away, I expected better from him than letting it get to the point where Mikel comes to my house questioning me.
"At this point, sir, I must say that it is Alpha Mikel who seemed to be on top of it because he has been the one raising the volume and asking loud questions," he said to me. My gaze was fixed on him for a few more seconds before I looked away from him. I took a step and then stopped.
"Taylor, what is your reason for not giving me this information until now?" I asked him to turn as my gaze turned to look at him as he stood behind me staring at me in silence.
I expected him to give me a better response because it was not good enough for me that it had been going on for three days and I was only getting to know about it now with Mikel standing outside my gate.
