Anger grew continuously in every orc's heart, until reaching a critical point.
"Roar!"
In an instant, like a dam that had suddenly burst, this orc legion from hell roared like a flood, surging unstoppably toward that tiny human figure.
No one could endure such insult, let alone the naturally violent and bloodthirsty orcs. They desperately let out roars and various howls, wielding their weapons like hyperactive beings, striking and smashing, venting the fury and restlessness burning in their hearts.
Their armor was ferocious, black, and spiked. Their weapons were coated with deadly poison and blood rust. Their faces were hideous and filled with greed.
It was a sight that would chill anyone to the bone.
"Quite impressive momentum."
There weren't many orc legions in this world with such courage as theirs.
Levi bit into a golden apple, drank his fill of potions, and drew his long sword.
In this dark, spacious, miraculous hall, alone, he charged toward the orc legion rushing at him.
That armor was darker than the darkest orc, as if it would absorb all darkness, while that gleaming long sword was blindingly bright, causing approaching orcs to suddenly wake for an instant, breaking free from the grip of collective emotion.
However, it was too late.
The human in black armor had already crashed into this great army.
Whoosh.
Several orcs flew out with flames on their bodies, some falling down into the orc masses behind, others flying up to crash into the hall's magnificent stone pillars before falling miserably to the ground.
Like meteors in the long night, gone in a flash, briefly illuminating the front, left, and right for just an instant.
The dark warrior stood firm in place, immovable as a boulder in a rushing river, with only waves splashing, repelled by the rock and flying into the air.
"Get out of the way!"
A crude voice rang out from behind the orc masses. A troll carrying a massive spiked iron ball chained to his hand came thundering over. Several unfortunate orcs grazed by the spikes immediately fell to the ground, becoming food for other orcs.
As the troll swung it, the iron ball rose high, gradually occupying Levi's entire field of vision.
Boom!
Dust flew everywhere. Only the orcs' chaotic shouting remained in the hall. The iron ball, several meters in diameter, seemed to have flattened both the man and his sword together. There was no more movement, no more light.
Before the orcs could begin gloating, suddenly a golden light flashed from beneath the iron ball, dazzling and solid.
The two rings on his hands flickered brightly, runes appeared all over his body, supporting Levi as he directly parried the iron ball away.
"Rings!"
From the rear of the army, an orc leader who looked most composed suddenly widened his eyes.
"Master will surely love this..."
"Kill him and chop off his fingers!"
"Roar!"
The troll roared and swung the iron ball again. Levi held his sword horizontally before him.
Block!
Clang!
The spikes on the iron ball met the long sword. Tremendous force transmitted through, making Levi retreat a step involuntarily, but this strike was successfully parried.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Levi thrust forward, cleaving through the orcs blocking his path, then brought his sword down and suddenly swept upward!
Knockback!
The troll's entire body was incredibly and unreasonably launched into the air. Levi also jumped up, landing with a thud and delivering a plunging attack before touching down. This strike directly tore through the troll's hide, igniting it. The accompanying impact force also knocked down a bunch of nearby orcs, leaving them unable to exert any strength.
The troll that had burst into flames could no longer care about what was in front of it, frantically swinging the massive weapon in its hands, trying to kill the human who had wounded it.
This action was destined to be futile.
The moment he landed, a pearl was thrown upward, landing on a stone pillar.
As purple light particles flickered and fell, Levi appeared in midair. In a flash, plop, a block was placed on the pillar, successfully giving Levi a foothold.
The orcs followed the purple light particles to discover Levi above and began climbing the pillars, trying to bring him down.
Others drew bows, aiming upward.
In this hard-won breathing moment, Levi quickly scanned his surroundings.
Swoosh swoosh.
Seven or eight arrows struck his armor, failing to make Levi retreat even half a step.
One particularly forceful arrow came from quite a distance. Levi looked in that direction and spotted an extremely calm-looking orc whose demeanor was particularly conspicuous in this violent army.
"Found you."
This was the orc who had shouted orders earlier.
Pop!
Several red blocks fell in succession, flashing as they dropped along the edge. While the orcs' attention was drawn to them, Levi threw another ender pearl toward that orc leader's direction.
Boom!
An explosion sounded beneath his feet. A large crater appeared in the floor, and a corner of the stone pillar was also blown off. Before the second TNT exploded, purple light particles drifted down, and Levi flashed into existence amid the distant orc masses, stepping on orcs' heads before throwing another pearl.
As Levi leaped toward his destination, at his original position, the orcs finally realized the danger of the glowing red blocks and hurried to get away. But it was too late. Dense explosions quickly erupted, drawing the attention of all units present, including the orc leader.
"Everyone fall back; let the trolls handle this!"
The army's leader quickly made adjustments, giving orders to other trolls. But when he squinted toward the damaged pillar above, he found that the figure had already disappeared.
"Where is he?"
The leader's eyes widened suddenly, his heart pounding as an ominous premonition arose.
Swoosh.
Behind him, an orc flew out wreathed in flames, landing before his eyes.
"Right here!"
The voice was close at hand. The leader quickly drew his blade and slashed behind him, seeing only a field of golden yellow.
Runic Shield!
Squelch.
The long sword pierced his chest cavity. The leader erupted in flames and let out a wail.
Sword light flashed, and an orc head detached from the body like a component, the cut smooth and clean as if naturally so.
Charge the army, display force, find the leader, behead, and release fear.
Having experienced many battles, Levi had gradually adapted to develop a fighting style for dealing with orc armies.
Thud.
The headless body fell. Levi held a torch and grasped the orc head, shouting loudly:
"Scum, look who this is!"
However, this time he had miscalculated.
"Roar!"
A troll swung its massive club at him. Levi quickly dodged to the side, hearing a crack as the armor on the headless corpse where he had just stood was smashed and deformed, the inside a complete mess.
Following this troll were the surrounding orc armies. They had finally discovered their target had somehow gotten behind them and came howling toward this direction.
No one cared about the orc leader's death.
