Realist and Magician are teamed and Simon and Kaito are teamed to complete a two men game, named trust step.

Chapter 53 : A Mere Human

Magician completed the trust step game in two jumps while he was blindfolded, and he achieved this, without the guidance of Realist,
Magician tells the Realist to throw the helmet to him, which was design to crush a person's head if not removed with in the desired amount of time,l
Realist throws the helmet to him, Magician catches and wait for it to snap but the time passes and nothing happened, he wants to confirm that the helmet does crush a person's head.
As he was looking at the helmet, the Seer realized what he wants to do and said ," If you think I am lying then close the helmet"
When he closes the helmet it instantly snap with so much force that the helmet bounces from his hands.
The Seer said through his mic ," So it does snap?"
The magician rub his head and said," You are wrong, I was not looking at the helmet because I doubt you, I was just thinking that why people say money can't buy you happiness or family...I mean no one wants to buy a family member or emotion with it. Money can buy what it can buy"
The Seer sighs....
Realist burst out laughing and said ," Hey can you buy me a father hahahaha"
Magician also laugh..... ," Buy one get one free hahahah"
Simon, Kaito and Seer are just quiet and staring in disgust at them, they are so annoying that they made the seer out of words.
"I think the the h*es can benefit from that offer hahaha they might get a chance to answer the 'What kind of relationship do you have with your father" question"
After laughing for few minutes, The Seer taps on the microphone and said, " If your f*ckery is over then should we continue "
Realist and Magician looked at each other and burst out laughing again.
The seer order Simon and Kaito to go forward with their game and ignore them.
Simon wraps the rope around his neck and wears the blindfolded because he is the one who will do the grabbing the key part.
Kaito walks to him and said ," I know who you are. You are Realist's friend and he cares about you more then himself, and I can kill you any moment but I am not a monster like him I would never harm someone who is not responsible for the deaths of my family"
"Buuuut don't forget I will kill him when we get out from here"
Kaito wears the head crushing helmet, He will guide Simon to grab the key and then guide him to throw it to him.
Simon is just a human, he has no powers that might get him through this challenge, which is arguably impossible for a mere human like him, Kaito is trying to guide him with complete honesty because his life also depends on Simon.
The first walk on the edge was easy even though he is blindfolded because it only requires to walk in straight path, Simon walked the edge easily but now he reach a challenging part. He has to jump from the edge to a wooden path which has no support, The edge was beside the wall so you just have to touch your back to the wall and walk along but , now Simon has to jump to a wooden path with no support and also do it without seeing anything.
"Wait" Kaito said, " Listen to me, The gap is no more than your height, it means you can reach it by falling toward it without bending your knees"
"What? You think I can do that? that Seer motherf*cker should try this himself, i bet that n*gga can't even walked that edge without the blindfold"
3 minutes and 30 seconds are left.........
"Hey, look at me" kaito said.
"N*gga I can't see. How the f*ck am I gonna look at you homie" Simon replied.
"OK, listen to me, You can do this, Our lives depend on this jump, you hear me. If you didn't jump we will die" Kaito said.
"Man shut your a$$ up with your lame a$$ motivations. If I jump I will die" Simon's feet are shaking, he is sweating badly. He feels dizzy because he is overwhelmed by stress.
He experience a brief dizziness which leads him to falling without bending his knees straight toward the wooden path.
Realist's heart pounds, He shouted ,"Simaaaaaaaaannnnn" He forgets ,He being a Protagonist and it is a novel kind of things, He genuinely scared for losing Simon, So a loud shout comes out of his mouth without even realizing.
Simon opens his eyes mid air under the blindfold and grab the wooden path with one hand and then roll around it underneath the path and lands on top of the path because of the force of the swing.
Realist and Magician shouted ,"Yeeeeeesssssss"
"Come on Simon you can do it" Magician cheered.
2 minutes and 30 seconds left.....
Kaito told him to calm down and listen to his instructions because the next obsticle is jumping over the rope and doing that on top of this wooden path, So he told Simon to walk forward slowly.
Simon start walking....
"Wait" Kaito said ," Do as I say?.when I say go then take two steps forward and jump."
1 minute and 30 seconds left.....
"Go"
Simon take two steps forward and jumps.
The rope barely missed him.....
"Go"
Again Simon take two steps forward and jumps over the rope.
After the third time he reach the end and then Simon jumped to the area where the key is hanging,
Simon grabs the key but now only one minute has left and it is clear that he can't walk back all the obsticles just within a minute so he just stands there for a second.
Kaito tells him , he had to throw the key from there. But it is nearly impossible for a mere human to do such thing but completing all the obsticles was also impossible for a mere human and Simon did it so it is doable.
Kaito tells him to make his body angle just as I tells you, and throw it exactly at that angle with your complete strength
"What the f*ck are you saying?" Simon said.
Kaito replied angrily ," shut the f*ck up and throw it"
Simon throws the key at with complete strength, The angle was little off and the key start going downward.
Kaito extends his foot and kicks the key to launch it to himself
Kaito catches the key and unlock himself from the helmet.
30 seconds left ....
Kaito is not switching off the generator. He is just standing there starring at Realist.
Realist walked forward a little, he is too worried to talk.
15 seconds left ....
"Hey, Did you catch it" Simon said.
10 seconds left...
Realist breaths heavily....
Kaito look back at Simon and said ," I am sorry"

Magician take out a single card and throws it at Simon which cuts the rope around his neck.
The generator pulls up the rope at full speed like it is pulled by a truck while the noose remains wrap around Simon's neck
Realist sighs a relief....
