This pokemon held some strangely shaped fruits in its hands. It looked at Sirin and Squirtle, then at the Pokeball in Sirin's hand, and instantly, it understood everything.
'Beep, Meowscarada found, Grass/Dark-type pokemon…'
Sirin no longer had the mood to read the rest of the description, especially as the Meowscarada, with "Level 40" displayed above its head, looked increasingly displeased.
"Squirtle, run!!!"
She slapped Squirtle's head hard, knocking its sunglasses askew.
Squirtle was initially a bit wronged, but when it saw the bipedal big cat charging towards it, the entire Squirtle instantly froze, quickly following the direction Sirin was fleeing.
Unfortunately, their running speed couldn't possibly compare to Meowscarada. In a mere few seconds, Meowscarada caught up.
Seeing this, Squirtle suddenly skidded to a halt, steeled its heart, and instantly stopped between Sirin and Meowscarada, looking resolutely at the light green bipedal big cat rushing towards it.
"Squirtle, come back!!!"
Sirin quickly noticed this scene. She turned her head and cried out anxiously.
"Squirtle!"
Squirtle didn't obey the command this time. It stood with its back to Sirin, not looking back, and quickly raised a small paw to give a thumbs-up, as if saying, "Don't worry, I've got this. You go ahead."
"Tears in my eyes."
"Tears in my eyes."
"..."
A thick Water Gun shot out from Squirtle's mouth, but to the Meowscarada, which was over thirty levels higher and had a type advantage, it was no different from a tickle. It simply waved its hand and batted it away.
Watching as energy gathered on the bipedal big cat's paw, it swung it forcefully towards Squirtle.
Unable to bear seeing Squirtle fall, Sirin simply took out her Pokeball and, amidst Squirtle's cries, recalled it.
Meowscarada lost its target and immediately turned its gaze to Sirin.
Looking at the big cat, almost her height, charging straight at her, Sirin took a deep breath, crouched down, and adopted a gladiatorial stance.
Just when everyone thought Sirin was preparing for a head-on confrontation, at the moment the big cat charged, Sirin instantly raised her hand and quickly took off her glasses.
Immediately, the clouds cleared, and the world returned to its original state.
A gentle breeze rustled through the human-tended forest, and the stream flowed gurglingly. Sirin, as if having gone through a difficult battle, let out a sigh of relief and sat down on the ground, exhausted.
"Ah???"
"Is this how it's solved? The streamer is truly amazing!"
"If you can't beat them, unplug the internet? Are you a sore loser?"
"Meowscarada: I @ @ # ¥ @ ¥ @ ¥ @ ¥ # @!"
Completely ignoring the mockery in the comments, Sirin rested for a while, then got up and ran towards the edge of the forest. Soon, the familiar park and the increasingly dense crowd appeared in her sight.
At this point, she finally stopped and put her glasses back on.
Her first instinct was to look back warily. Sure enough, the Meowscarada was gone.
"Hehe, I'm still the more skilled one after all!"
Feeling no shame at all, Sirin quickly took out the two Pokeballs on her person and threw them simultaneously onto the ground.
"Squirtle!"
"Meow~"
As soon as Squirtle came out, it stood before her with some dissatisfaction. The moment it turned to block, Squirtle felt it was incredibly cool. It had even prepared the pose it would strike after falling, but Sirin actually recalled it! How could this be allowed?!
However, the sight before Squirtle made it a bit stunned. Sirin excitedly picked up the Sprigatito next to it and held it high in her hands.
This wasn't right, shouldn't it be the biggest contributor?
"Squirtle?"
Watching Sirin completely engrossed in Sprigatito's beauty, Squirtle fell silent. It sighed, put on its sunglasses, and stood with its hands behind its back in the wind.
Squirtle doesn't shed tears easily, only when truly heartbroken.
It's so cold, and its heart is so frozen.
On the other side, Mei sat on the lawn, surrounded by a small group of Grass-type pokemon, happily playing with her Bulbasaur and coming up to her to ask for pets.
However, the scene on Kiana's side was a bit different.
"Charmander, use Ember!"
"Gwa~"
A ball of flame was spewed out by Charmander, hitting a Rattata opposite. The Rattata looked like a large mouse with big buck teeth. It tried to pounce but was directly engulfed in flames, squealing and shrieking as it burned.
Soon, the charred Rattata fell to the ground, its eyes spinning.
"Good job, Charmander!"
Clenching her fist, Kiana punched the air forcefully.
"Fighting, awesome!"
Starting at two in the afternoon, she had been battling with Charmander all the way until now, and its level had reached ten.
As she began to search for her next target, Mei's voice suddenly came over: "Let's go, Kiana, it's time to watch the fireworks."
"Huh? So soon?!"
Only then did she notice the completely dark sky. She had been so focused on having Charmander battle that she hadn't paid attention to the time at all.
"Where's Sirin?"
"I've already notified her, she'll be here shortly. But you, where were you just now? I haven't seen you at all."
Mei asked, coming over to Kiana with Bulbasaur.
"Oh, I was helping Charmander find opponents, so I ran a bit far. And, I also caught a pokemon~"
"Really? What kind of pokemon?"
"I just caught it, I haven't even looked yet. It ran too fast, Charmander couldn't catch up at all. I just thought I'd throw a random ball, and I actually caught it!"
Looking at Kiana, who was grinning foolishly while scratching the back of her head, Mei also smiled and marveled at her good luck.
"Let me see…"
Before she could even pull out a Poke Ball, Sirin's voice suddenly rang out from not far away.
"Kiana, Mei~"
Her purple hair swaying, Sirin jogged over to meet them.
Squirtle followed leisurely behind her, and in her arms, she held an incredibly cute light green cat, which she showed off to Kiana and Mei as if to boast.
"Look, my new partner, Sprigatito!"
"So cute~"
Mei's eyes immediately lit up. She leaned in, cautiously extending her hand.
Sprigatito was very cooperative, rubbing against Mei's hand. This human had a very comfortable scent.
But when Kiana also curiously extended her hand, Sprigatito turned its head away without a hint of politeness, jumping down and refusing to be touched.
"Huh? Why won't it let me pet it?"
"Oh, maybe it's because the kitty doesn't like idiots~" Sirin spread her hands, laughing mockingly.
"Who are you calling an idiot?!"
"Whoever's getting angry~"
"You!!! I don't not have new pokemon!!"
With an angry huff, Kiana immediately pulled out a new Poke Ball from her bag.
"Heh, you? You probably just caught a Oddish…"
A flash of white light, and a small hedgehog with a green back and a pink flower on its head opened its bewildered little eyes, looking around as if it hadn't yet realized its current situation. Sirin's voice also stopped abruptly the moment she saw the hedgehog.
'Shaymin, Grass-type, Mythical pokemon…'
"Huh?????? Mythical pokemon?????"
