McQueen aims for a repeat, Ryan fights for Mejiro pride, Teio for Triple Crown honor, Nature for Derby glory. Ikuno and Flora, refusing to lose to grand escapers, surge.
"No way I'm losing!"
Palmer digs in, Turbo clings to her ruinous pace—not by choice, but defiance. She won't yield the view or lose to Teio.
"Here!" "I'm coming!" "Me too!"
"McQueen and Teio accelerate! Overtaking Palmer, closing on Turbo! Can they catch her? Nature climbs, matching Palmer!"
"No defeat!" "We're the same!" "Can't lose to escapers!" "Exactly!"
Ikuno, Flora, Ryan's roars drown Palmer's cry. Pride demands they topple grand escapers.
"Argh!" "No losing!"
"Palmer stretches again! Passes Nature—no, Nature fights back! Their terrifying grit! Turbo falters—limit reached? McQueen storms from outside!"
"No… Dokkan Turbo!"
Turbo, gasping, triggers her final True Dokkan Turbo to shake McQueen—but no speed comes. The gap shrinks.
"Why…?"
"She forgot her Dokkan's limits," Rampage mutters.
"McQueen overtakes Turbo! Her lead ends!"
3200m broke Turbo. Even extended top-speed stamina has limits. Her forced acceleration failed.
"Teio closes! Turbo clings, showing Tiara grit!"
"(You're amazing, Turbo. Truly respectable—so I'll prove your rival's just as great!) True Teio Step!"
"Teio accelerates! Passes Turbo, nearing McQueen! What speed—transformed!"
Teio's run shifts, mirroring Rampage's full-body style, honed under Monsigny's brutal coaching. Turbo sees it—Chrysanthemum's Nature, Rampage's shadow. She chases, staggering but joyful, even as Ikuno, Flora, Ryan, Nature, Palmer pass her.
"Teio catches McQueen! Ryan surges! Ikuno, Flora close! Nature struggles! 200m left—Flora rockets! Will she make it?"
"Argh!" "Come on!"
"McQueen holds! Top stayer, Mejiro's pride! Teio craves the shield! Half a length—Ryan, Ikuno, Flora neck-and-neck! Who claims glory?"
Teio's eyes lock on the goal, fueled by a promise.
"You'll surpass the Emperor. Your Triple Crown matched the President. Now aim higher," Rampage urged.
"No more admiring—I'm the absolute Emperor!"
McQueen sees wings on Teio's back, propelling her forward, edging past by a nose.
"Teio wins! Tokai Teio takes the Emperor's Cup! Beating McQueen by a nose, the undefeated Triple Crown claims the shield!"
A roar of joy erupts. Teio collapses, panting, victorious.
"I did it… True Teio Step…"
Turbo bounds over, eyes blazing. "That was insane, Teio! Like Ran!" "Easy, Turbo—she's beat," Nature chides, curious.
Teio grins. "Simple. Ran introduced me to her coach—Monsigny's Spartan training." "Monsigny!?" McQueen gasps. "Seriously!?" Ryan balks.
Both Mejiro girls pale—doubt and worry.
"Really?" McQueen asks. "Yup, Ran set it up." "Harsh?" Ryan ventures. "Brutal. One wrong form, she screamed 'Wrong!'"
Monsigny's rigor stunned McQueen and Ryan, pitying Teio.
"Makes sense I got fired up—her run was Ran's," Flora says. "Spot-on," Ikuno agrees.
Flora and Ikuno, Rampage's rivals, confirm Teio's unique step, born from Monsigny and her own flair. Cheers erupt as McQueen rises with help.
"Time: 3:17.5! A record! Beating Nichidou Taro's 3:18.7 by over a second! McQueen second, Ryan third, Flora fourth, Ikuno fifth, Palmer sixth—all record times! Turbo seventh at 3:18.9, near last year's McQueen!"
"Holy…" Rampage breathes.
"Insane race, live!" Pocket shakes. "Amazing…" Cafe trembles.
Rampage's tail sways, awestruck.
"Emperor surpasses the Emperor… Geniuses exist," she murmurs, smiling.
