Chapter 358 - Chapter 358

Saitama's words fell.

A haze of light bloomed in the void—and, to Tony's astonishment, the Earth that had already been destroyed began to return as if time itself were rewinding.

But this wasn't the Time Stone's reversal. Everything that existed by Saitama's will was reborn; everything he denied remained erased.

Dormammu and Thanos, for instance—still gone.

In just a few breaths, the beautiful blue world was whole again.

Earth—restored.

Tony: "…"

His jaw hung open, wide enough to fit two eggs. Science had no vocabulary for this.

"Is the end of science… a god?" Tony whispered. For the first time, the super-genius felt doubt in the creed he'd lived by. Then his eyes went back to Saitama, and something like understanding clicked.

Saitama… a god.

A true one.

The friend who'd shared coffee and quips with him possessed a might that made divinity feel mundane.

Under Saitama's mental command over the six primal Stones, the lives, cities, and structures erased moments ago returned.

Fully repaired.

In a blink, the universe looked exactly as it had before the catastrophe.

S.H.I.E.L.D.

Director Nick Fury stared as his body knitted itself back together. The hand that had crumbled re-formed before a roomful of witnesses, solid and real.

There was no describing the sensation of looking down and seeing oneself alive again.

All around him, agents who'd died moments earlier revived alongside him. Beyond Earth, across the cosmos, every life ended by Thanos's snap returned as well.

"We're… alive?" Agent Carter blinked at her own hands.

"Is this a dream?" Coulson frowned in confusion. He hadn't died in the snap at all—he'd died long before the "plot" started—yet here he was, breathing again.

Even Fury was speechless.

"Saitama…"

Out among the stars, Tony's voice shook. The Earth had been rewound to before the disaster; every wound Saitama had mended was gone without a trace.

Even the Ancient One drifted out from the Tesseract.

"My… body? Restored?" She looked down at the hands she hadn't possessed in so long. She'd been soul only; no mystical text had ever promised true flesh's return. And yet—here it was.

"Saitama… my lord. You saved this world. Please accept my thanks." The exalted Sorcerer Supreme bowed her head to him with quiet reverence. Without Saitama, who could say what would have become of the future? Now, at last, it was steady again.

"Looks like it's mostly handled," Saitama said, opening his eyes with a small grin. As the battle-will ebbed, his emotions gradually slid back toward their usual flat calm.

Still, these Marvel-world Stones weren't bad; thanks to them he'd just pulled half the universe back from the brink.

That had to be the biggest hero gig he'd ever finished, right?

Kind of meaningful! Haha.

"Saitama… should I… call you a god, now?" Tony hovered closer but dared not approach fully, respect rising from somewhere deeper than thought. Even with a serum in his veins, his instincts told him he was standing before a lifeform beyond any known ceiling—a legend that broke life-physics itself.

"Just call me Saitama, Tony." He smiled. Friends were rare in this world; Tony was one of them.

But even as he spoke, Saitama felt it—that pull. Somewhere, a great power was summoning him.

"I'm going to head out. If there's a chance, we'll meet again," he said mildly.

"Then… Lord Saitama, I—" the Ancient One began, and hesitated.

"This world is yours. You'll guard it from here. If something comes up that you really can't handle, you can look for me." His outline blurred under their gaze. A few breaths, and he was gone.

"He left?" the Ancient One murmured to the empty starfield.

"Master." Rings of light rippled; a portal unfurled. Doctor Strange stepped through. "Saitama… is gone?"

Arriving late, Strange felt the absence keenly. And he understood: this universe probably couldn't keep Saitama. He was bound upward.

"Then let's return to the Sanctum," Strange said, conviction firming. "We'll study. One day, I believe we can catch up."

After beholding an ocean, all other waters feel small. After seeing Saitama, Dormammu himself didn't seem so terrifying; in front of Saitama, Dormammu wasn't even worth carrying his shoes.

"Catch up to Saitama?" the Ancient One smiled. A teacher sees farther than her student. Not just in this lifetime—even in a hundred thousand years—surpassing Saitama felt like a lovely slogan, and only that.

"I'm heading back too," Tony grumbled, turning toward Earth. "He comes and goes like a breeze. Fine. I'm not stepping outside until I've cracked Mark One Hundred. Sooner or later, I'll build a suit that can beat that bald guy."

"Very well," the Ancient One said with a small smile. She waved her hand; a portal opened, and the two stepped through. Everyone understood the truth without saying it aloud: surpassing Saitama was a catchphrase, something to shout, not to achieve. No one knew when he'd set foot here again.

By the time they were wondering, Saitama had already slipped into a corridor between worlds.

Around him stretched pitch-black nothing.

"Whew… finally wrapped the Marvel hero gig. Once I'm home, I'm definitely taking a nap." He muttered to himself.

Then—

A mechanical chime rang in his ear.

[Ding! Honored host Saitama, you have perfectly completed the Marvel world mission. Reward granted: Marvel Mark.]

Marvel Mark (Special Item)

Effect: Encompasses the entire primary Marvel world within the mark. Activate when world-hopping to carry the Marvel main world with you.

"Huh? That's… kinda busted." Saitama clicked his tongue. A peculiar sigil glowed on his index finger; a thought, and he could feel the movements of an entire cosmos. It was a strange, intoxicating sense—

Like being the true master of the Marvel universe.

The synthesizer voice chimed again:

[Ding! Random transfer initializing. Destination—X-men World. Prepare for hard landing!]

The words had barely finished when weightlessness seized him.
