Chapter 815 - Chapter 815

Genos took the heavy sand block, staring at the clear finger imprints on its surface. Once again, he gained a new understanding of his teacher's strength.

Physical immunity?

In the face of absolute power, it seemed there was no such thing as true "immunity."

Docklands District, late at night.

Under the searchlights, the massive container cranes cast grotesque shadows. But right now, nobody was paying attention to the cranes.

All eyes were fixed on the open space in the port—on a black behemoth that kept writhing and swelling.

Not long ago, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s science division had been researching the remains of the previously captured symbiote. An accident occurred. A powerful energy signal seemed to pierce through space itself, drawing in a larger, more violent kindred.

The newly appeared symbiote monster was as huge as a building. It had no fixed form, like a living ocean of black asphalt. Bubbles rose and burst across its surface as countless twisted tentacles continuously extended outward.

Even more terrifying, it could split off countless mini symbiotes the size of dogs. These smaller symbiotes surged like a black tide, crawling rapidly across the ground. Once they touched a human body, they would forcibly bond, hijacking the host's actions and turning them into mindless puppets that only knew destruction.

Iron Man was the first Avenger to arrive at the scene.

His micro-missiles and repulsor blasts could easily blow apart the small symbiotes, and even tear huge chunks off the behemoth's body vehicles, containers, even the ground—to regenerate.

And its core remained hidden deep within that enormous body, impossible to reach.

"FRIDAY, analyze its structural weak points! At this rate it's never going to end!" Tony shouted anxiously while dodging a massive tentacle swinging at him.

"Sir, the target's mass and regeneration speed exceed estimates. Conventional attacks cannot effectively eliminate its core."

Right then, a yellow figure appeared at the edge of the battlefield.

It was Saitama, wearing his signature suit, seemingly drawn over by the commotion.

"Saitama!" Tony called through external speakers. "Watch out for the small black things! The big one regenerates even after you smash it!"

Saitama looked at the constantly shifting black monster—and at the mini symbiotes that tried to get close, only to be stomped into "asphalt pancakes" with one step each. He nodded.

"Mm."

He scanned the area and saw civilians who'd been possessed—eyes hollow, attacking rescue workers. Then he looked back at the behemoth that wouldn't die no matter how long they fought.

It felt like a waste of time.

So, he bent his knees slightly—then jumped.

His body shot upward like a rocket, vaulting over the lashing tentacles, and landed precisely on the creature's constantly rising and falling mass—what looked like its "head."

The monster sensed the threat.

Its main body churned violently. More tentacles whipped and stabbed toward Saitama from all directions. At the same time, it tried to engulf him with its liquid-like body, attempting to swallow and digest him.

Saitama stood there, steady as a rock.

He ignored all the incoming attacks. Calmly, he raised his right fist.

There was no glow. No charging. No dramatic buildup.

Just a simple punch—aimed straight down at the monster beneath his feet.

At the instant his fist made contact, time seemed to freeze again.

Then, an indescribable, pure impact force erupted from his fist, expanding outward in a spherical wave through the symbiote's entire body!
