Chapter 838 - Chapter 838

"For Jotunheim!" A low, icy battle cry rang out from within the fog.

In the next instant, countless massive spears and arrows condensed from ice shot out from the edge of the steam like a torrential storm. Their targets were the most eye-catching figure on the field. Iron Man and…

…that bald guy who had just forced the giant to its knees.

Saitama was standing not far from the lava giant, and the sudden spread of steam had left him a little disoriented. "Whoa, did it suddenly get this foggy?" He waved a hand through the white vapor in front of him. It felt hot and damp—somehow even more uncomfortable than the heat alone.

Then the sound of something tearing through the air came rushing in.

Several sharp ice spikes carrying bone-chilling cold, flew right up to his face. At the same time, near his feet, a chunk of lava rock that had splattered out when the beast broke apart, its interior still flickering red wriggled as if alive, then sprang up like a small cannonball, slamming toward his back.

"Hm?" Saitama tilted his head, looking mildly bothered.

With his left hand, he casually tossed a punch upward, light as a brushstroke.

Bang! The incoming ice spikes shattered the instant they touched his fist, exploding into a cloud of ice powder. The cold was blown apart by the punch's wind.

Almost at the same time, his right hand reached back and pressed down, precisely pinning the sneaky lava chunk. The heat did nothing to him. Like snuffing out a cigarette, he calmly pressed the still-burning stone into the damp ground beneath his feet.

".…Sss." A soft hiss sounded. A wisp of blue smoke rose, and it stopped moving.

"Seriously… both sides are in the way." Saitama glanced left—where tall Frost Giant silhouettes flickered in the thick steam—then looked right, at the lava giant's core. It was still spewing magma, trying to pull itself back together. He could feel a stronger energy reaction there, like a "heart" beating inside.

He clicked his tongue in annoyance. He'd only come over to see what the commotion was, then go home and eat. He didn't expect it to be this much trouble.

"Let's just clear it out. I still gotta go back and check the supermarket sale flyer."

And then Saitama moved.

No fancy techniques. No complicated tricks.

Just a simple, direct double punch.

His left fist swung toward the dense steam where the Frost Giants were hiding. He didn't aim at any specific target—just a pure, long-range punch pressure.

Whoooom—!

An indescribably terrifying wind pressure formed instantly, like an invisible siege hammer. The white steam was forcibly blasted apart and swept away, revealing dozens of Frost Giants in formation—each of them staring in stunned disbelief.

Where the punch wind passed, their formation collapsed like a sandcastle hit by a hurricane. The giants were blown off balance, their ice weapons snapping into pieces, ice armor cracking across their bodies. Screams rang out as they were hurled away—tumbling into distant glacial crevasses or vanishing deeper into the fog beyond, their fates unknown.

His right fist, meanwhile, drove in solid and true—slamming into the center of the kneeling lava giant's chest. That was where the molten energy was most concentrated, like a heart thumping inside its core.

BOOOOM—!!!

This impact was far louder than when he'd broken its knee. The lava giant's chest caved inward with a massive fist imprint, and spiderweb cracks raced out from the point of impact, spreading through its entire body.

The colossal molten energy gathered in the core burst like a punctured balloon—gushing outward in a violent, explosive release!
