The sun once again stood up, highlighting a clear blue sky, with clouds scattered across it, heavy sunlight emerging.
We humans are so different aren't we? Some act in benefit; some laugh some cry.
There has always been a balance in the world, when there are some downs in ones life, there also can be ups too.
Life is like a roller coaster, up and down. We will truly never know when our time is up, do we?
We can never truly know what's next, can we?
But we hope, we struggle, we fight, we sacrifice.
I always wanted to know what these emotions are? Why are they?
Why is it that we feel this way?
In a world surrounded by chaos, can you really be happy? Can you?
Can you have really be sure?
That what's next is good?
Hope? Hope? Hope?...
I ask my self everyday; "Can you still hope, Robert?"
"Can you?"
My life was never been the joyfull kind, but it was never like this.....
I once also had a decent child hood too, happy, playfull, energetic, I was in my own world.
I remember I was about 25 years old, had a some what stable job.
I went to see my family, my father, my mother, and the love of my life, whom i had been set to marry.
I clearly remember it now; I was there, I tried everything, but I was a coward, I ran leav... **pause** leaving them alone.
"Why? Why was I really that scared for my life!!"
"Could.. couldn't have I!? Went there?"
After everything that happened that day, I decided to devote my life towards saving others!
"You know society after that, was never the same".
"People were confused and most of all scared!"
"I can't blame them, I was too!"
"That's why I became a detective to protect to save!!"
"I was never the same after that incident! Never".
"I tried, tried, and tried to save!"
"I did! I did!"
"I became the best at my work! I did! I truly did!"
"But right now I don't want to think about all that, I don't!!"
"I.. I want justice, I want to save!!"
"I want to keep moving forward".
"And install hope!! Onto the common man".
"What I truly want is peace, cause I know what hell feels like! Truly from deep within!"
Sigh....
Officer: "Sir...Sir... Sir?"
"Are you there?"
"Yes I Am!", Said Sir.Robert.
With a deep breath; "this case just keeps getting harder and harder to solve. Isn't it?"
"These clues they're being eased one by one".
Officer (Reasoning): "But sir, he escaped, he ran!"
"You're wrong he got scared!"
"They scared him away".
Officer (reasoning): "Sir, he hit you with a broom, then proceeded to run"
"What does that have to say sir?"
"No, you're wrong, completely wrong", Sir.Robert.
**stands up in aggression** "But sir! He tried to kill you, he even ran away with a cab that was suspiciously waiting for him!?"
Sir.Robert answers with silence to the following .
He then proceedingly asks...
"Hey! Officer can I talk to you about something!", Said Sir.Robert.
"Sure... sure, thing Sir!"
"The thing is this entity or entities, are ---".
"So, I need you keep this information to yourself!"
Officer: "But.. but.. but sir why me?"
"Why not your partner?"
Again Sir.Robert replied with dead silence on his part.
**stands up**
**walks inside the house under investigation**
"Just be careful!"
"And also come to me when everyone is distracted!" **looking dead in the eye**
"In the yard!"
**inside**
"Hey! Everyone!!!"
"Sir!! We have found no traces of blood or broken furniture or anything!"
"Hmm!", thinking.
"Yeah, leave that!"
"Huh!?", Everyone.
Sir.Robert: "I've found one clue already, about the entity".
"So no need to worry!"
"Take a chill pill". "Everyone!"
"Let's eat together, shall we?"
He gives everyone a relief, and invites them for lunch.
Sir.Robert goes to the kitchen, he prepares food for everyone, in a sense of joy, like he has cracked something unique to the case!
**Everyone sits at the table**
Start to enjoy the food!!.
"Mmmmhh. I never thought you'd be this good at cooking!", one officer.
Bob (thinking): "what could you possibly be planning eh? Robert?"
Overthinks bob; "What, could he have found!?"
Bob excuses from eating at the table; " you see sir, I want to solve this case!".
"So, no! am sorry".
"I can't without solving this case!", dedicated says bob.
"I can't see more people's lives on the line". With passion said Bob.
Sir.Robert with deep breath; "Okay, do whatever you like!"
Bob goes off alone to the bathroom to look at him self, self-reflecting.
**in the bathroom**
Goes he the suspicious one to the bathroom, in excuse, he said. For he is non what goes through the minds of others; he is different I many many ways.
This version of bob is not a version in the thought of others.
He therefore upon reaching at the bathroom stares.
Bob (self): sigh.. Robert! What tricks are you planning now... eh? **looking at the mirror**
"I was sure you'd be confused, and more importantly scared!"
"But here you are, joyfully eating as if you know something".
"That alone boils my skin!"
The manipulative monster decides to abandon is ways and move onto a much violent way instead.
It was clear now that he is no longer the bob known.
"Dang I should've killed right at the spot".
"Shit!" **slams**
"I guess I'll have to end you now!"
**scratching his face revealing a hidden secret**
Looking at the mirror reveals a crazy secret, there was no bob to begin with..
It was only a pale scared man under all that face, as if worn like clothing.
Like a skinwalker amongst humans.A zombie not any zombie one capable of speech, writing, thinking like a human? Or smarter? even moving like one.
With soo many similarities can you even differ?
A face like a foe, manner like a foe but inside lives abnormalities.
These zombies aren't who we think they are, they are smarter, stronger, deceiving, and most of all wanting of all.
With a blood lust for human.
"Heheh... hehhe.. I guess it's time, to stop this game once in for all".
"To night!"
With evil laugher bob decides his plan to end everyone this night.
**At the lunch table**
One of the policemen out of curiosity asked; "by the way, Sir what clue were you talking about?"
"Hmm.. about the clue, well that is, and will be disclosed later".
Policemen: "Um sir but why!??"
In a cocky attitude said Sir.Robert; "like I said, I will disclose later!"
"For now it's best that you eat what your eating and continue searching for more!"
Questions mumbled on; "But sir can you aleast tell us how big this clue is?"
"Like I just said, later is better!"
The crew silenced themselves up in hope to find the clue out themselves.
Alas nothing found on that day sorrowful day too. Yet again unsuccessful?
The day ended, times up. Darkened everywhere and time cut loose.
It was about 1pm, the men had tired themselves enough.
The night hovers over the bright sky sooner than usual. It was clear that today was the day what know one would see coming!
The emergence of the night sky made it clear that today's day was over.
The officers, cop decided to call it a day and go back home, while the detective decided not to.
Officer: "I guess it's time, we should go now".
Sir.Robert: "Yes, you can go, I will stay here!"
Officers: "All alone? But sir!"
"I said, what I have said".
"Okay, now you can go to your homes!"
"I have decided to stay, and no one can change that!"
Listening bob, comes into the scene.
"Sir if your not willing to come then I will stay with you", says bob.
Sir.Robert: "And why is that!?"
Bob (Reasoning): "Because sir, I can't leave you alone, can I?"
Bob (self): "yes yes... YES! this is what I wanted!"
Bob (to everyone): "Plus nor can I leave without solving this case!"
"I just... just can't", In sorrow says bob.
"Fine, then!", Robert.
"Me and bob will stay at night".
Officer: "Okay, sir just be careful!"
"You don't have to tell me twice!", Sir.Robert.
This act however was very beneficial to the entity, so it decided to revert and to planning and scheming.
The police cars left without a trace in sight, like there was none. They left faster than ever without a thought what could happen next!
As if it was all coordinated, was it tho?
The men had left, the air was cold, the lights nearly not enough to see, but the struggle still the same.
**Lights up cigar**
Sir.Robert: **puts cigar in his mouth**
Sir.Robert walks forward towards checking more out on the neighbourhood, since it had evacuated, there was no one there, so Sir.Robert chooses a random house to investigate.
While on the walk bob asks.
Bob: "Sir by the way, why not go home?"
Sir.Robert: "I don't know man! I just don't feel like it"
"But.. why.. without the men.. why?"
"Aren't you scared? Even just a bit?", bob.
"Heh.. Scared? I left that side a lonnng time ago", Said Sir.Robert.
Bob: "Sir, I think you should've gone back!"
Sir.Robert: "Heh.. why.. tho isn't great out here too?"
Bob quits speaking to admire.
"Hmm.. I guess so?", bob.
Upon reaching up the stairs of the house they decide to split up completely to better look for the clues.
"I've got an idea, why don't we split up this will give us a better chance", said with beaming confidence Sir.Robert.
"Why not sir!", replied bob.
They both split up on the spot; bob looking for clues outside, while the detective Sir.Robert inside the house.
Bob (self): "hehheh.. that went better than I thought, now all I have to do is awaken all of you!"
The monsters eyes glowed up in the darkness of the night like if it was commanding something, in a instance, while inside the house Sir.Robert heard something.
Sir.Robert: **hears glass breaking**
"Huh!?"
Sir.Robert goes as fast as he could to find nothing there at all.
"Huh!? I swear I heard something!!"
Sir.Robert reaches towards the broken glass pieces; "Hmm.. it looks like it thrown!"
**swish sound**
A strange knocking noise was heard by the detective leading him to the yard.
He sees the monster up ahead. He quickly draws out his gun and shoots.
He successfully shoots him.
"Finally, I've got one of you".
Draws up closer to the scene.
"Aghh..aghhh...aghhhhHHHH", monster.
As soon as Sir.Robert came in up.
The monster attacked and inpursuit to flee he ran away knocking away the detective to the nearby table.
Not too hurt Sir.Robert follows it outside.
**screams bob**
Bob from a distance, hears the sound!
Bob: I guess my plan worked!
Bob quickly rejoins with the detective, to pursuit the monster!
What is this lobotomy, what could it mean?
