It was already late in the morning when three figures appeared far away from the cave, crouching low behind a patch of tall bushes.
Han Jue, Rong Ye, and the little plant, Stove, peeked through the leaves like a group of thieves spying on treasure.
Rong Ye squinted toward the cave and whispered, "Are you sure she's here?"
Beside him, Stove tilted his leafy head, then gave a firm bob...his way of nodding.
Han Jue stayed quiet for a moment, eyes fixed on the dark opening of the cave. The calm expression on his face didn't change, but his brows furrowed slightly.
"This place…" he muttered under his breath, "has a very strong scent of a feral beastman. And not just any...he's powerful. The aura alone is suffocating. Whoever lives here… has been here for many years."
He paused, scanning the area again before his tone grew doubtful. "Why would Su Qinglan be here?"
