Morning sunlight slowly spread across the forest of Mermaid Island, painting everything in a calm golden glow. The air should have been peaceful and refreshing, but unfortunately for one poor spiritual plant, the atmosphere nearby was anything but calm.
Under a tall tree stood four extremely angry men, their expressions dark and oppressive. And hanging helplessly from that same tree… was Stove.
His two long vines were tightly tied to the branches above, leaving him dangling awkwardly in the air like a pitiful decoration.
His small leafy body swayed left and right with every slight movement of the wind as he stared down at the furious faces below him.
Stove gulped loudly, the sound echoing awkwardly. His leaves trembled uncontrollably.
Behind a nearby bush, his little flower wife carefully peeked out, her eyes wide with shock at his miserable condition. When Stove noticed her staring at him like that, he nearly burst into tears on the spot.
