Chapter 10 - A Big Mistake

Tyler

Angel's hands fumble with the buttons of my shirt. I feel exposed—naked—and the stares around us burn into my skin.

I grab his wrists, voice low and rough. "Angel, stop. This isn't the place." His stormy green eyes meet mine. He licks his lips, fingers teasing the edge of my shirt. "Come on. I know you want this. I can see it in your eyes."

My frustration spikes. He's not listening. His fingers slide under my shirt, brushing cold skin.

I hiss—too loud. The driver glances back. His gaze is knowing.

Humiliation crawls up my spine. I need to shut this down. I lean in, whispering, "Sit down like a good boy, and I'll make you feel good."

Angel blushes, curious. He obeys.

He did as I said and moved his hands away. With a relieved sigh, I kept his hands under one arm, and I unzipped his jeans. He lifts his hips without prompting. His underwear is soaked. The scent hits me. I wrap my hand around him.

He gasps, jolts. My palm slicks with semen. I keep going. He pants like a dog in heat, sweat dripping. Then he bites me—hard. Like a vampire.

I freeze. He licks the wound, apologetic. I pull away. "Keep going," I sneer, "and I won't be gentle."

Angel whimpered, his arms stretching over his neck and chest like he was itching. Angel began to unbutton his clothes, and his pale, naked skin was emerging.

I looked ahead and saw an old man with brownish black hair looking back upon hearing Angel's whimpering, crying noise.

I glared at him with a cold, menacing glare I could.

The man swallowed hard, and the man looked around him like he was being caught. Once he found nobody was staring at him, he came to the last row and stared at Angel with his lustful gaze, and he swallowed hard.

He said in a deep voice. "Hey. $2,500 for him."

I narrowed my eyes into a slit.

The man raised his hands in the air like he was trying to calm me down.

The man made a deal, "I can tell he's out of it. And whatever he's on, he'll need someone to get off of it, but you're not into it. Let me take this man off your plate."

The man lifted his brow. He was good at reading situations. Tyler didn't get a good feeling about the man. But he didn't know why he felt protective about Angel.

He shouldn't feel protective in the first place. After all, Angel tried to drug me, and what would happen next? He could've raped me.

I looked at Angel squirming on the spot, his body heating up, his shirt nearly off his shoulders. His nipples are nearly visible.

I stretched my hand before the man who furrowed his brow at me.

"The money," I stated in a nonchalant voice.

The man grins, lifts Angel like a prize.

Call me cold-blooded or whatever. But Angel got into this mess himself.

I pushed the guilt away that seemed to be worming itself in. The man pulled Angel onto his shoulder. That's the last straw.

I turned away.

I tucked the thick cash. The man dragged Angel down the long lane before getting off the bus. People watched them, but nobody did a thing, including me.

My heart dropped with a pang. But I pushed it all away. The bus moved on with an engine noise, and I closed my eyes.

Then I remembered the little boy's laughter in my head. His adorable green eyes follow me everywhere. To the football game. Volleyball. Swimming.

We used to be close.

No matter how much of a bastard he is, it doesn't change the fact that I let myself be dragged to the same level as he is.

A deep regret grew within me, and something tells me to go back before it's too late. Far too late.

I looked at the bus driver who was driving and stood up. I walked to the front of the bus, surprising the bus driver.

"Let me off."

The bus driver looked at me suspiciously, "I can't let you off. You'll have to wait until the next bus stop."

I glared at the bus driver, "I said, Let me off. I won't ask again."

His cheeks twitched, annoyed. "Fine."

I sold him.

But the guilt didn't leave me.
