Katsa sees many people working, and they are not noticing her standing right there.She follows a random person and reaches Building No.18, which is red and blue.
Katsa sees 50+ people working in a science-lab thing.
Katsa thinks, "What are they doing here?"
The security notices her and alerts people that a stranger from the Dark Society has infiltrated the town.
Everyone goes inside their houses and locks them.Katsa notices that even the science lab has shut down.
Katsa runs away from the guards.
IN THE BATTLEFIELD
Salim falls back from the shockwave that their attack causes.
Thorne says, "I don't have time to fight you — I have to save people by destroying that statue!"
As Thorne attacks that statue, the attack gets replenished back to him.
Salim says, "The only way to destroy the statue is to defeat the caster of it."
Thorne says, "Then I will do that also — for my people."
Salim jumps up on the head of the statue and says to everyone there,
"NOW YOU WILL SEE TRUE POWER!"
Thorne wonders, "What does he mean…? If I get serious, he is done."

When the arrow touches the ground, it becomes full black and takes the size of a ball which has the whole town inside it.

Thorne smiles, "You think you are the only strong person here? If you really think that, then I might have to prove you wrong, Salim."
Salim shouts,
"LOOK AT THIS, THORNE! THIS IS VERDANT PATH, AND IT'S ALL IN SHADOWS! EVERYONE IS GONNA DIE!"
Thorne removes his cloak and says, "LET'S FINISH THIS."
OUTSIDE THE BATTLEFIELD
Katsa is hiding behind a building as she sees hundreds of guards chasing her around the city.
She tries to investigate more about this place — as they need to learn the dark truth — but she can't.
A guard finds Katsa and charges at her.
Katsa kicks him and takes his uniform.
Katsa joins the security team and thinks, "This is gonna help in finding the secrets about the town."
She says on the speaker,
"The person from the Dark Society has run back to the Dark Society. There is no need to worry — everything is normal now."
After this announcement, everyone gets out of their houses and goes back to work.
Katsa goes to the science lab and acts like security there.
Suddenly, she notices that another guard is giving a pill to the scientist forcefully.
She goes there and sees the pill — it was a memory loss pill that removes the memory of a person.
Katsa realizes that this is what is happening in Verdant Path.
IN THE BATTLEFIELD
Thorne takes out his sword and jumps on top of the statue to attack Salim,but he couldn't — because Salim shoots his arrow, which hits Thorne while he's in the air.
Thorne falls down.
The Lord Inmuyan statue is crushing the town.
Thorne stands back with his sword, and with one moment, he takes in the oxygen. As he breathes it, he is calm and composed.
His eyes are closed.The area around him turns into a pleasant vibe as he sees the end of Salim.
He charges, and in a second, he gives Salim a scar on his torso.
Salim says, "What is this… AHHHHHHHHH, THIS SUCKS!"
Thorne puts his sword back, and as the statue falls, he laughs at Salim.
Thorne says happily, "What do you think of that, Salim? THIS IS TRUE POWER, AND THIS IS YOUR END!"
Salim is bleeding very fast as he thinks he is about to die.
Salim is falling from the air, and suddenly he is in a black spot where there is nothing except darkness.
Salim sees Junyu standing with his back covered with blood, carrying him, Ton, and Mil.
Junyu can't walk. He is dragging his body, his eyes full of tears as he shouts,
"SAVE MY FRIENDS!"

Thorne takes out his sword and pins Salim to a wall.He stabs him in the same place where he cut him.
Salim shouts in pain, "AHHHHHHHHHH!"
As Thorne says, "You are weak,"Salim starts chanting —

With this, Salim kicks Thorne, and he falls very far back.Salim then shoots Thorne, which makes Thorne fear.
Salim says, "This is Phase 2, and I can't keep this up for long."
Thorne remembers advice he got from his mentor —
"If you ever face an archer, always fight him in short distance, and that will help you defeat him."
Thorne makes the distance short, which affects Salim as he starts struggling.
