Keifer's POV
I know aries has his problems with jay but what he said was too much. Jay's the exact opposite of selfish. She has always put others before her. Even if I have my own issues with her, I still don't think of her that way. Sure she can be stubborn at times and try to hide her pain from others but she's not selfish for that. She just wants others to be happy, even if it means she stays in pain herself and I don't want that for her. That's why I want her to share it with me but maybe, I went too far as well.
Percy: great going guys. Now look what u have done. My baby sistah is sad and hungry bcz of u.
He said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
Mason: u have no right to say that aries. She doesn't deserve that.
Aries: she was being selfish. She slapped ella for a dare she gave her and then acted so childish.
Robin: if u think of her like that then u don't know her.
Ren: and u keifer, can u just grow up for once. She clearly doesn't want to talk about it so why push her?
Keifer: I just wanted her to share her pain with me.
Tripp: look bro, I really shouldn't have said whatever I said last night but u shouldn't have said what u said either. U don't know how much she meant to her. That's why she can't open up about it.
Tony: u really want to know about ur mother, keifer.
Keifer: ofc I do.
Tony: let's talk in private. Come on guys.
He said and then got up. Jay's team got up as well and followed him. I followed behind them. They went to a room which looked like a private lounge with a bar.
Thyme: after we tell u, u r going straight to jay and making it up to her.
Keifer: ofc. I just want to know what happened.
Tony: jay told u that tita serina was our mentor, right?
I simply nodded.
Kent: she was more than just a mentor for jay. She was like a mother to her.
Choi: we used to train under her guidance. She taught us with only one purpose, to protect u and ur brothers from kaizer and to get revenge on him bcz she knew she won't live long enough to see u get ur inheritance and see that monster get what he deserved.
Tripp: jay was the closest to her out of all of us. She was the most loved. I still remember when jay came to us one day while training and said, " I finally found my home. A mom to love me, friends to play with that r more than just friends, more like my sisters and kuyas and a place that feels safe and like home ".
Zia: she was so crushed when tita died. Mostly bcz we couldn't reach her in time.
Keifer: what do u mean couldn't reach her in time?
Lia: we got info from godfather that kaizer was going to do something but we didn't know what, we only knew it involved tita serina so we tried to reach ur house on time but we were too late. She died bcz of that monster and jay....she once again lost her mother.
Thyme: I remember when she opened up to us for the first time. Me, ren, mj and kavin, we were the first ones she trusted after what happened with tita. She had lost all hope in family but she still had some hope left just bcz of tita and then that hope was also taken from her.
Mj: that's why we try to make her happy and fulfill her every wish whenever we can. Bcz she already had suffered too much.
Mason: u know, it was really hard to get her to smile after everything that happened. She truly turned into the queen of hell. Someone who lived only with pain and survived for only one purpose, to get revenge for tita serina.
Robin: she tried to act fine and live upto everyone's expectations but we saw through her. We saw her pain, the way she used to silently cry through the night, the way she tried to keep herself busy just so she couldn't break infront of us, the way she used to see her photos with all of us in it together when she thought no one noticed. She has endured too much.
Ren: she has too many people expecting way too much then she can handle. The Fernandez family expects her to be a good girl, finish high school then college and then take over the business. They even used her as a pawn to save their business and she still endured that, just bcz she didn't want to disappoint more people nor loose her leftover true family, so that she could live upto their so called expectations.
Alex: godfather expects her to be the next great head of the league, tita expected her to take revenge and make sure u all were safe.
Iris: even ur section e expects her to be ur mutya who always smiles and solves other's problems.
Keifer: we don't want that. We want her to be real with us, share her problems so that we can help her the way she helped us.
Thyme: she's too stubborn to ask for help. She doesn't know how to bcz she grew up like that. U know a little bit about the hell she went through with her step dads and even that cyrus and that bastard roy, do u really think she'll ask for help and open up so easily when she went through hell and back time after time.
Mason: all we want is for her to be happy and achieve whatever wishes or dreams she has. We try our best from our side and so should u. Keep her happy and pls don't force her to open up.
Mj: she doesn't trust easily but she does trust u wayyyy too much. U better live up to that trust or u'll have to face us.
Keifer: I will.
Tripp: that's all we can tell u. We told u everything we know and everything we saw happening to her back then.
Keifer: Thanks for telling me guys.
Zia: alright, one down one more to go. Now we only have to talk some sense into aries.
Keifer: I'll talk to him. But first I need to talk to jay.
Thyme: take some food and coffee with u. She must be hungry and have a headache bcz of last night.
Keifer: ok.
We went out of the lounge and went back to the restaurant.
Percy: everything alright?
Keifer: yeah.
Gorya: r u going to talk to jay now that u know what happened.
Keifer: yeah. I just came to get some food for her. Oh and aries, if u really want to fix ur relation with ur sister then stop acting like the horoscope u r and start listening.
I said and left with Jay's breakfast and coffee. Behind me I could hear section e's screams and teases towards aries but I didn't care bcz all that matters right now is jay.
I came upto our room and looked for jay. I found her standing near the railings of the balcony, looking lost in thought.
Keifer: hey.
She flinched after hearing my voice and turned to look at me. And that's when I saw that she was crying.
Keifer: hey, why r u crying?
Jay( quickly wiping her tears ): no reason.
Keifer: brought some food for u. U should eat and hydrate or else the headache will only get worse.
Jay: why r u acting like this all of a sudden? I thought u were mad at me.
Keifer: I'm not. I was just sad that u couldn't open up to me but that doesn't matter now. Ur team already talked some sense into me.
Jay: what did they say?
Keifer: they told me a bit about ur past. About ur relation with my mom and how u felt back then. I'm sorry for acting that way before. I was an idiot to act that way with u without knowing the whole truth.
Jay( chuckling ): yeah u were.
Keifer: and like u said, it's all in the past now. So let's forget it and just live in the moment and plan our future together, if u want to.
Jay: u really mean that?
Keifer: yeah. Ur happiness is all that matters to me. So to hell with that shitty past. Let's talk about our future and maybe....even about caretaker and watcher.
Jay( smacking his arm ): u...u really won't change huh.
Keifer: nope. Now come on eat something. U'll need ur energy to hit me bcz I'm just getting started here. And afterwards, everyone is going for a stroll through the park so hurry up and eat.
I said and started feeding her.
Jay: hey, I have hands u know.
Keifer: that doesn't stop me from treating u like the queen u r.
Jay( rolling her eyes ): you're insufferable.
Keifer( smirking ): and yet u find me irresistible😏
Jay( mumbling ): maybe.
Keifer( grinning ): I heard that.
Jay's POV
I didn't say anything after that. He fed me my breakfast and I also fed him some bcz he didn't properly eat his breakfast as well.
After that we changed into our today's outfit and went downstairs.
Robin: everything fine now lovebirds.
Jay: yeah, we're fine now.
Keifer( smirking ): I knew I could convince her. After all, she can't resist me for long😏
Jay( smacking his head ): u r too full of yourself.
Thyme: ok ok, stop ur foreplay now. We have a long day ahead.
Jay: where r we going?
Mj: well we were originally planning to go for a walk around the park but now there has been some change in the plan.
Ren: as big brothers, it's our responsibility to make our little sister happy so now we have a full fun and chaotic day already planned out.
Aries: u r not her brother.
Mason: and u r?
Aries: yes, I am.
Tony: Great. Then start acting like one.
Keifer: u can start by talking again.
Jay: ella, I'm sorry. I just got too jealous and my anger got the best of me. I shouldn't have taken it out on u.
Ella: it's ok jay. U had already warned us to not tease u too much. I guess I should have actually listened before acting on it.
Percy: great, now only aries and jay have to make up. Come on aries baby, as the big bro u should go first.
Aries: I'm not ur baby percy.
Ella: come on aries. Just say it already.
Aries: ugh fine. I'm sorry for saying that u were selfish and for taking my anger out on u. I shouldn't have done that.
Jay: and I shouldn't have done what I did either.
Aries: it's fine. Just don't be like that again, ok.
Jay( smiling ): ok kuya ari.
Aries( smiling ): alright that's enough now, little sis.
He said while patting my head.
Percy: that's more like it. Now my baby sistah and aries baby r fine again. But don't forget about ur handsome brotha ok.
He said and pulled us into a big hug.
Aries: ew get off me percy.
Jay: let me go percy.
Percy: back to being grumpy I guess.
Keifer: r u happy now?
Jay: yeah.
Thyme: u'll be more happy with what we have planned. It's about a three hour drive there so let's go.
Ci-n: r we going to see another fight match?
Felix: is jay going to be in it again?
Mj: no, it's not a fight match but something more fun, chaotic and better.
Mayo: can we go to that muay thai match again after that then?
Drew: yeah let's do that afterwards.
Denzel: u just want to go there so u can bet again.
Jay: Once is enough. Besides who knows how many fights I might have to take part in if we go there again. I don't trust u guys.
Zia: well, u r not wrong about that.
Lia: we only do that bcz we love seeing u fight and don't act like u didn't want that too.
Rakki: btw jay, did u get ur gift from keifer yet?
Jay: what gift?
Freya: the one they all bought for us in the mall. Right before we got into that fight, remember.
Jay: no I didn't get anything. Keifer, where's my gift?
Keifer: u'll have to wait for a few days to get it. I don't want to ruin the surprise just yet.
Jay: can u atleast give me a hint about what it is?
Keifer: nope😏
Jay: why not😫
Edrix: bcz it's something very special.
Mason: u'll have to wait a bit but trust me, it will be worth it.
Jay: wait, so u all know what it is. Tell me then. I'm ur little sister, right. So tell me.
Tony: oh no, ur emotional blackmail won't work this time. We r with our bro kiefer this time.
Kavin: ok stop it now. U all can bicker on the way. Let's go now or else it would be too late and too crowded.
Keifer( authoritatively ): ok, everybody in the car, now.
Aries: don't tell us what to do.
Keifer: getting angry now brother in law.
Aries: I'm no ones brother in law.
Keifer( smirking ): not yet.
Aries: jay, handle ur dog. He's barking too much.
" He's not my dog! "
" I'm not her dog, u horoscope! "
We said at the same time.
Aries: who r u calling a horoscope huh.
Jay: stop it now. Both of u.
I said and got in the car. They followed behind me, still scowling and bickering with each other while the others whispered and laughed at there antics.
Only three more hours with this bickering before I can get out of the car. The drive has just began and I'm already thinking of a way to either kill myself or them. Halfway through the drive, thyme, gorya and I had scolded them a dozen times, stopped the car fifteen times to get some peace away from them and had stopped ourselves from killing each other.
By the time we reached there, my ears were bleeding from all the fighting and bickering, my hair a mess from all the frustrated scratching and pulling I did bcz of these two idiots and I was severely hungry and in no mood to do nor hear anything or else I might just actually kill someone.
Gorya: jay, I say this with all due respect but good luck handling these two once u r officially married.
Thyme: if they trouble u too much just call me. I'm itching to beat them up now.
Keifer: r u guys talking about us?
Aries: and who's getting married?
Jay( glaring at them ): NOT. ANOTHER. WORD!
Gorya: let's get u something to eat before u kill someone.
Ci-n( running towards them ): jay, how was the drive.
Jay( fake smiling ): great. I'm officially ready to murder someone without turning into barracuda.
Percy: woah, baby sistah. U look even more ugly now.
Jay( deadly glare ): one more word and I'll ruin that face of urs that u obsess over so much.
Zia: ok, we need to do some damage control here.
Mj: let's change ur mood jay. First let's eat at the restaurant then we'll go where we have planned too.
Ci-n: let's go eat food jay.
He said while dragging me to a nearby restaurant.
We went inside, settled quickly and ordered five servings of the whole menu which made the whole staff look at us weirdly but we didn't care. We were like 40 or maybe more people so obviously we will order so much food and we were too hungry to care about anything. After a while, the food came and we started eating, no devouring our food like some wild animals in a competition. We ate until we were fully satisfied and then went to our surprise destination.
