'She' didn't want me dead, 'she' just wanted me weak enough to be dragged back. I fought, hard, I killed batch after batch of soldiers, but they kept coming, injuries piled up on my body, they healed as fast as they were made. The soldiers were strong, but not as strong as me.
Every time I killed one, ten would take it's place, I have regeneration abilities, but even that would burn out soon, I can't continue like this. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw 'her' talking with the other doctors, watching, 'her' eyes sparkled with excitement as they watched the fight, like it was some kind of entertainment show. The disgust flooded through me with anger so hot, it felt like it was burning me alive. The distraction gave a soldier an opening to strike, one strike became five, then ten. I fought, but they were too many of them, I was getting dragged down.
I crumpled to one knee, my breath coming in fast, short bursts, my vision tunneled, I trembled, but I won't stop, I can't afford to stop.
"You are exhausted" 'she' said, 'her' voice amplified by the madness in her eyes "Stop fighting and come home"
"Never"
"Come back to me, let us go back to how it was"
The audacity of 'her' to say that, the audacity to look me in the eye and say that, like 'she' meant it, like 'she' wanted my good, like 'she' wanted to help, when she can't wait to strap me to a table.
I looked down at the swinging pendant around my neck, the only thing left of them, of my parents, I clung to it. I can't let them take me, not alive, but I can't die either. I seem to hear my mothers voice.
'My little duke, I know you get angry often, here take this. any time you can't handle your emotions, seal it in here and throw it away, alright?' She said, squeezing a rock into my hand
Seal... That's it...
I focused, turning my energy inward, I focused every sense of my being on one point, the density of my powers began to thicken, killing everything that came near me, I could hear 'her' screaming, I didn't care. I created a seal.
It felt like I was being taken apart, piece by piece, until there was nothing left, I felt the pendant snap from the energy and fall to the ground, my body fell to the ground as well, sinking into it. I watched as 'she' screamed orders to the soldiers.
This way, 'she' can't use me, I would be lost forever, the only thing I could feel at that point? Nothing, I had just one thought 'I am sorry I broke my promise, little vampire' and everything went black, next time I awakened, it was in the body of a boy being sacrificed, I had no idea how much time has passed. I focused on the situation at hand first.
Back to the present...
It fell here, around the tree, I remember it falling right before I sunk.
"Why isn't it here now? Did 'she' take it? Really?"
I refuse to believe it, hours went by, my nails were long gone but I didn't bother with it, the moment I stop it'll heal anyway. I kept searching, kept digging, I found a lot of things around, arrows with broken tips, broken glass from their 'special cannon', and many others, but no pendant.
I rested my back on the tree, staring out at nothing while my mind spiraled. Did 'she' really take it? No, that's not like 'her'. Maybe, someone found it and took it back, or an animal accidently swallowed it, nothing is impossible now, centuries has passed, it obviously wouldn't still be here, what was I thinking?
I remained in that position for a few more minutes, then got up and headed to the hospital, there's no point sulking here. Maybe, whoever took it sold it? Or it's in some family now passed down as a heirloom, who knows, I'm not giving up though, I'll find it, and I'll take it back.

Back at the hospital...
"How did we end up here?..."
Currently, everyone is present in a private hospital room, Charlotte was tied to a chair, the chair was grounded to the ground with earth, Michael sat on the bed with an angry Cal' by his side, Mitchell stood in front of him with her arms crossed, Ben's lost in his own little computer world, Sally sat at the other side of the bed with Gwen by her side, they were both just looking around at everyone, Sheriff Jacob stood against the door with his hands folded across his chest, Tyler stood at his side looking like he would rather be anywhere else, while Jayce stood behind Charlotte with his claws out aimed at her throat.
"You know that won't kill me right?" Charlotte said
"But it sure would hurt, wouldn't it?" Jayce said with a smile
Watching their exchange, Michael redirected his gaze to Cal'
"What's wrong?" at that Cal' glared at him and turned away
"Seriously?"
"..."
"You chose now, to be mad at me?"
"..."
"F***ing speak"
"..."
"Language Michael" Mitchell said
"haa... What did I do?"
"What did you do? You're seriously asking me that?!"
"Why are you yelling?"
"Why am I yelling!? Let me do you one better, why are you always here? at the hospital, time and time again, you're always here! Everytime, I would sit here and wonder if you're going to open your eyes again, every single fricking time, the portal, the werewolf, even this fricking place. I used to be the sick one, how did you end up the dying one?" He said and walked out of the room.
Silence, complete silence.
"I'll go to him" Michael said and went after him.
Everyone else just kept staring.
"Wow, that was nice" Charlotte said with a laugh
"You shut the hell up, alright"
"Hehehe, just saying"
