Chapter 219 - Tang San Emerges From Slaughter City

The atmosphere within the sprawling, snow-draped fortress of Crimson Zenith City was strangely, profoundly peaceful. Following the intense diplomatic maneuverings in the southern territories and the exhausting, monumental breakthrough of condensing his Life Spirit Core, Zhang Tian finally found a moment of quiet solitude. He sat behind the massive, deep-sea ironwood desk in his private study, the warm glow of spirit-conducting lamps illuminating the countless maps and tactical reports scattered across the surface.

Outside the thick windows, the eternal blizzards of the Frostfall Province raged against the city's geothermal domes, but inside, a warm, tranquil silence reigned. Yet, Zhang Tian knew this peace was merely the deceptive calm before a cataclysmic storm.

He reached across the desk, picking up a sleek, metallic communication tool. This device, a highly advanced, encrypted spirit artifact forged in his own subterranean laboratories, allowed for secure, instantaneous transmission of text and voice across vast distances. He channeled a measured pulse of his dense spirit power into the crystal matrix embedded in the center of the device, linking his spiritual signature to a corresponding receiver located thousands of miles away.

He needed to send a critical, world-shifting message to his father-in-law, Sect Master Ning Fengzhi.

"Uncle Ning," Zhang Tian spoke into the artifact, his voice calm, measured, and devoid of any unnecessary panic. "I trust the sect prospers. I am contacting you to share some vital intelligence. There is a profound chance that the tides of the continent are about to shift drastically. Recently, I took a discreet journey to visit the Zhu Family estate in the Star Luo Empire to handle some personal matters. While there, I engaged in a rather revealing conversation with Duke Zhu Zhenhong."

Zhang Tian paused, letting the weight of the impending revelation settle before continuing.

"The Duke arrogantly let slip a piece of information that the southern alliance is currently celebrating. There has been a verified, confident report circulating among the upper echelons of the Star Luo court that Tang Chen, the legendary ancestor of the Clear Sky Sect, will be returning from his long absence very soon. He is expected to arrive at the new Clear Sky Sect headquarters in the south within a few months."

He leaned back in his plush leather chair, his icy blue eyes narrowing as he considered the strategic implications.

"If this happens, the Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Sect must prepare their defenses and their political stances immediately," Zhang Tian warned, his tone turning grave. "After all, with the current, bloody conflict escalating between the Clear Sky Sect, the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, and our own expanding interests, there is a remarkably high chance that after Tang Chen returns and solidifies their morale, they might try to suppress or even deal a fatal blow to the Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Sect to remove you from the board. Prepare the elders. We must coordinate our next moves."

He terminated the connection, setting the metallic artifact back onto the desk with a soft click.

Thousands of miles to the south, nestled within a lush, verdant mountain range, the majestic, towering spires of the Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Sect gleamed under the afternoon sun. Inside the grand, highly ornate central meeting hall, Ning Fengzhi sat at the head of a long, polished jade table.

When the specialized communication tool resting on his desk flared with a soft, azure light and delivered Zhang Tian's recorded message, Ning Fengzhi was visibly startled.

The Sect Master, a man renowned across the Douluo Continent for his peerless intellect and unshakeable composure, felt a cold chill trace its way down his spine. He became remarkably solemn, his elegant features tightening into a mask of deep, calculating concern. He immediately summoned the two foundational pillars of his sect.

Within moments, the heavy wooden doors of the hall swung open. Sword Douluo Chen Xin, a man whose very presence felt like a drawn, peerless blade, strode into the room, his white hair flowing behind him. Following closely was Bone Douluo Gu Rong, a towering, gaunt figure draped in dark robes, radiating a profound, eerie spatial aura.

Ning Fengzhi played the recorded message aloud for the two seasoned elders. As Zhang Tian's calm voice echoed through the grand hall, the reactions of the two guardians were immediate and drastically different from their Sect Master's caution.

"Tang Chen... that old monster is actually returning?" Sword Douluo Chen Xin murmured, his sharp eyes suddenly flashing with a brilliant, blinding light of martial excitement. He subconsciously rested his hand on the hilt of his Seven Kill Sword. "It has been more than fifty years since anyone laid eyes on him. I always wondered if time had claimed him, but it seems he is as stubborn as the mountains. My sword thirsts for the chance to cross blades with a true legend."

Bone Douluo Gu Rong let out a raspy, echoing chuckle, crossing his skeletal arms over his sunken chest. "You are being pretty arrogant, you sword freak. But I agree. We have hidden behind these walls and played politics for too long. Even if Tang Chen comes knocking, I do not wish to retreat. The Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Sect should bow to no one, not even a ghost from the previous generation."

Ning Fengzhi raised a hand, massaging his temples. He deeply understood the martial pride of his two uncles, but his personality was that of a cautious, highly intelligent strategist who weighed the lives of thousands of disciples before making a single move.

"Uncles, please, curb your battle lust for a moment and look at the reality of the board," Ning Fengzhi requested gently, though his tone brokered no argument. "We have absolutely no idea where Tang Chen has gone or what heaven-defying cultivation he has undertaken in all these missing years. We must logically wonder if he has taken one step closer to becoming a God, becoming even more unimaginably powerful than before. Remember, he was already unanimously recognized as the Strongest on the Land more than fifty or so years ago."

The room fell into a heavy, contemplative silence. None of them had any idea about Tang Chen's dark, tragic identity as the Slaughter King, nor his recent purification by the Sea God's Light, as Zhang Tian had deliberately chosen not to mention those convoluted, divine details to them.

Ning Fengzhi steepled his fingers, staring at the polished jade surface of the table. He assessed his own hand.

Through immense fortune, relentless effort, and the miraculous, medicinal pills containing the pure essence of the sun and moon concocted by the newly integrated Breaking Clan—utilizing precious, high-tier herbs directly provided to them by Zhang Tian—Ning Fengzhi had shattered his lifelong destiny.

His martial spirit had miraculously evolved from the Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Pagoda into the legendary Nine Treasure Glaze Tile Pagoda. Furthermore, by absorbing a set of exceptional Spirit Bones, he had secretly, successfully broken through the ultimate bottleneck, reaching the Titled Douluo stage. He currently sat proudly at Level 91.

With his peerless, percentage-based Nine Treasure Glaze Tile Pagoda's support, he could amplify his allies to mythological heights. He knew for a fact that if he fully supported Sword Douluo—who had recently reached the magnificent rank of Level 98 Super Douluo—and Bone Douluo—who stood firmly at Level 97 Super Douluo—they could easily, flawlessly defeat even two rival Level 98 Super Douluos in a frontal clash.

And even though the current Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Sect had amassed a terrifying force of more than ten Titled Douluos, including the three of them, Ning Fengzhi's brilliant mind saw the impending doom.

"We are strong, Uncles. Stronger than our sect has ever been in its recorded history," Ning Fengzhi stated, his voice echoing solemnly. "But we must recognize that this impending battle against the unified front of the Clear Sky Sect and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, who are now heavily, financially supported and militarized by the Star Luo Empire, would be impossible to win through mere attrition."

He tapped a stack of intelligence reports resting near his elbow. "Our own sect's information network has gathered quite a bit of data regarding their massive surge in strength over the last four years. The Star Luo Imperial Family has birthed new Titled Douluos through the mass slaughter of Sea Spirit Beasts. Tang San has provided them with hidden weapons that can decimate our lower-ranked disciples. And now, they possess Tang Chen as their vanguard."

Sword Douluo Chen Xin frowned, his martial aura dimming slightly as logic penetrated his excitement. "Fengzhi... do you truly believe that even with your Nine Treasure Glaze Tile Pagoda support, we cannot hold the line against Tang Chen?"

Ning Fengzhi sighed, looking deeply at his oldest friend and protector. "Uncle Sword, you yourself reached Level 98. You have touched the peak of mortal martial prowess. Tell me, after reaching this exalted level, what are your chances against Tang Chen?"

Chen Xin's expression darkened, the memory of a painful, historical truth surfacing in his mind.

"The difference between a Level 98 Super Douluo and a Level 99 Limit Douluo is the difference between a man and a demigod," Chen Xin admitted quietly, the pride draining from his voice. He looked at Gu Rong, then back to Ning Fengzhi. "My father, Chen Jianjun, was a peerless Level 98 Super Douluo. He possessed the same Seven Kill Sword, refined to its absolute apex. Yet, when he proudly traveled to Spirit City and challenged Qian Daoliu to a duel... Qian Daoliu, standing at Level 99, was able to effortlessly, humiliatingly defeat my father and completely destroy his strongest, desperate attack without even bothering to summon his Seraphim Martial Spirit. He beat a Level 98 Super Douluo using his bare hands."

Bone Douluo Gu Rong sucked in a harsh breath, the reality of that historical anecdote painting a grim picture of their survival odds.

"If Tang Chen is truly returning, and if he still wields the power of a Limit Douluo, or perhaps something even greater," Ning Fengzhi concluded smoothly, "then all our Titled Douluos, all our defensive arrays, and all our wealth will mean nothing when he swings his Clear Sky Hammer at our gates. We cannot fight, nor can we reasonably think of winning against a Limit Douluo yet. Even with the steadfast support of the Heaven Dou Empire and my son-in-law's territory, which possesses those powerful Spirit Tool weapons and heavy cannons that can easily suppress and kill a standard Titled Douluo, a Limit Douluo is a different entity entirely."

"Then what is Zhang Tian telling us?" Gu Rong asked, his skeletal fingers tapping the jade table. "He sent this warning for a reason. He always has a scheme."

Ning Fengzhi offered a small, knowing smile. He deeply understood the hidden, political undercurrents his son-in-law was navigating.

"Zhang Tian is telling me to make a definitive choice," Ning Fengzhi explained, his eyes gleaming with strategic clarity. "A choice to formally, openly cooperate with the Spirit Hall. He is laying out the board. If Tang Chen marches north, the only entity on this continent capable of halting a Limit Douluo is another Limit Douluo. We need the Supreme Pontiff, or we need Qian Daoliu to match him blow for blow."

Thus, Ning Fengzhi, after a long, intense, and heavily detailed discussion with Sword Douluo and Bone Douluo regarding troop deployments, supply line logistics, and the potential political fallout of aligning with their historical rivals, made the precise, calculated decision that Zhang Tian was patiently expecting.

As the sun dipped below the mountainous horizon, painting the sky in shades of bruised purple and gold, Ning Fengzhi activated his communication tool once more.

He replied to his son-in-law, his voice carrying the formal, unyielding weight of the Sect Master. "Zhang Tian. Your intelligence is received and validated. The threat is too vast to face alone. I ask you to formally contact the Supreme Pontiff on our behalf. Tell her that the Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Sect will officially request the direct military and elite support of the Spirit Hall in this impending battle against the Clear Sky Sect, the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, and the Star Luo Empire. Furthermore, as a gesture of our commitment, my Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Sect will utilize all our political capital to ensure that the Heaven Dou Empire's military forces won't intervene in this war to backstab, hinder, or harm the Spirit Hall's flanks."

Hundreds of miles away in Crimson Zenith City, Zhang Tian received the encrypted message. He sat in his quiet study, listening to Ning Fengzhi's formal declaration of alliance.

Zhang Tian let out a long, genuine sigh of profound relief, a rare, relaxed smile spreading across his aristocratic face. The final, massive piece of his political chessboard had effortlessly fallen into its designated square.

He had intimately known that attempting to logically convince his cautious, traditional Father-In-Law to openly side with the highly controversial Spirit Hall would have been a monumentally tough, perhaps impossible task, if not for the timely, terrifying existence of Tang Chen returning to threaten their survival.

After all, his father-in-law still had absolutely no idea about his deeply intimate relationship with the Supreme Pontiff Bibi Dong, whom Zhang Tian affectionately called 'Dong'er'.

Furthermore, Ning Fengzhi was completely oblivious to the fact that Qian Renxue who was usually with Zhang Tian was actually the true Young Miss of the entire Spirit Hall. He didn't know that her grandfather was the legendary Qian Daoliu, the very Limit Douluo who could hold back Tang Chen even if the Clear Sky Sect's ancestor returns in full glory.

Zhang Tian had woven a web of secrets so dense that his allies were stepping exactly where he needed them to step, purely out of perceived necessity.

"The alliance is forged," Zhang Tian murmured to himself, picking up a quill to draft a message to Spirit City. "Let the Star Luo Empire gather its forces. We will crush them when they lead their forces in their arrogance."

While Zhang Tian managed the macro-politics of the continent, the domestic sphere within his sprawling mansion was experiencing its own, highly entertaining social adjustments.

In the grand, sunlit drawing room of the estate's residential wing, Duchess Zhu Wanyue was currently being formally introduced by her daughters, Zhu Zhuqing and Zhu Zhuyun, to the other prominent, beautiful members of Zhang Tian's growing harem.

Zhu Wanyue wore a highly elegant, conservative gown of deep sapphire blue, projecting the flawless, dignified aura of a mature noblewoman. However, beneath the thick fabric, she could still feel the lingering, sore tenderness in her plush buttocks and the slight, pleasant ache between her thighs from Zhang Tian's relentless, marathon fucking during their journey.

"Everyone, I would like to formally introduce our mother, Duchess Zhu Wanyue," Zhu Zhuqing announced, her voice polite, though her feline eyes danced with a hidden, wicked amusement.

Ning Rongrong, wearing a beautiful cyan dress, stepped forward gracefully and offered a respectful curtsy. "It is an honor to meet you, Duchess. Zhuqing has spoken highly of your grace."

"The honor is mine, Lady Ning," Zhu Wanyue replied, her voice steady, successfully masking her internal embarrassment.

Jin Xi, the golden-haired Auspicious Beast, bounded forward with her usual, infectious bubbly energy, her massive breasts bouncing cheerfully. "Welcome to our home! Zhang Tian built this whole place, so it's super safe. I'm Jin Xi!"

"A pleasure, sweet child," Zhu Wanyue smiled, charmed by the girl's innocent radiance.

Qian Renxue, projecting the flawless, angelic perfection of her Seraphim lineage, offered a serene, majestic nod. "We are pleased to have you seek sanctuary within these walls, Duchess. The political climate is perilous, but you will find peace here."

Naturally, Zhu Wanyue's highly scandalous, deeply submissive, and secret sexual relationship with Zhang Tian wasn't told to Ning Rongrong, Jin Xi, or Qian Renxue. The three younger women genuinely believed she was merely a political refugee, the respected mother of their sister-wives seeking asylum.

Only Ah Yin, the mature, crimson-haired plant empress, knew the filthy truth. Ah Yin stood near the back of the room, sipping a cup of floral tea.

As Zhu Wanyue caught her eye, Ah Yin offered a very slow, deeply knowing, and highly suggestive smile that made the Duchess's face flush a brilliant shade of crimson. Ah Yin knew all about Zhang Tian's dark, perverted deeds, and she intimately recognized the subtle, slightly bow-legged walk of a woman who had recently been thoroughly broken by their shared Emperor.

Well, Zhang Tian planned to tell the secret to Bibi Dong as well, once she finally returns from Spirit Hall after making the vast military arrangements for this impending war against the Star Luo Empire. He knew Bibi Dong would find the degradation of a high-ranking Star Luo Empire's noblewoman immensely entertaining.

As for Liu Erlong—who was vastly more favored than Xiao Wu but still essentially just a casual, fiery slut whom he fucks whenever he wants to, and who comes running desperately to his territory just to get pounded by him—or the captive Xiao Wu, they weren't told a single thing. There was absolutely no need for them to know anything about the intricate social dynamics of the household. Their only permitted task in this world was to please him with their bodies whenever he summoned them, acting as mere receptacles for his lust.

While the mansion settled into a bizarre, peaceful domesticity, a truly terrifying awakening was occurring far, far away in the desolate, frozen wastelands of the Extreme North.

Deep within the barren, rocky valleys, the hidden, blood-soaked exit of the Hell Road finally fractured open. The very air warped and twisted, a nauseating stench of ancient, dried blood and profound despair vomiting out into the pristine snow.

A lone figure stepped out of the spatial distortion.

Tang San had finally emerged from the Slaughter City.

The transformation he had undergone in the past two years of uninterrupted, merciless slaughter was staggering. He no longer resembled a youthful, calculating student. He looked like a demon forged in the deepest pits of the abyss. His plain features had sharpened, his jawline covered in dark stubble. His black hair was matted with dried blood, and his clothes were nothing more than tattered, stained rags clinging to his heavily scarred, densely muscled frame.

But it was his aura that was truly, genuinely astonishing.

As he took his first breath of clean air, a thick, palpable white mist erupted from his pores. It was the physical manifestation of the Death God Domain. The killing intent and the murderous aura swirling around him were so dense, so terrifyingly concentrated, that the very snowflakes falling near him instantly sublimated into vapor, unable to endure the hostile environment. If a normal Spirit Emperor stood within ten meters of him right now, their minds would instantly shatter into a catatonic state of pure, primal terror.

Tang San closed his deep grey eyes, feeling the raw, surging power coursing through his reinforced meridians. His strength had greatly, phenomenally transformed. He was currently standing at the absolute peak of the Level 80 boundary. He was a Pseudo Spirit Douluo, possessing the vast spirit power reserves required, lacking only the formal attachment of his eighth spirit ring to officially shatter the threshold.

He slowly raised his left hand, willing his spirit power to manifest his second, hidden martial spirit.

Black lightning crackled fiercely as the Clear Sky Hammer materialized in his grasp. The weapon was no longer a dull, dark chunk of ordinary forged metal. It had evolved. The hammer head was larger, denser, and radiated a terrifying, suppressive gravity.

Moreover... a distinct, glowing crimson mark of a demonic bat had permanently appeared on the flat striking surface of the Clear Sky Hammer. The weapon had been fundamentally, structurally transformed, absorbing the ambient malice of the city to possess a much stronger, purer Asura energy.

However, this visual evolution was absolutely not the only miraculous thing that had occurred.

In fact, a fundamental, cosmic correction had taken place within the deep, dark crucible of the Hell Road. The humiliating, pathetic tragedy of his youth had been erased.

The first three spirit rings of his Clear Sky Hammer—which had originally been sourced from three pathetic, ten-year-old spirit beasts from the weakest rabbit-type species—were completely, flawlessly gone. The useless, laughable abilities like the 'Bunny Hop', the 'Carrot Sense', and the 'Fluffy Gaze' had been violently burned away.

In their place, as a direct reward for surviving the Hell Road and acquiring the Death God Domain, the Asura energy had spontaneously generated and forcefully attached three new, incredibly powerful, deep black spirit rings to his hammer.

Tang San willed the rings to appear. Two massive, blindingly red hundred-thousand-year rings rose first, followed quickly by three thick, profound black rings.

These new black rings were extraordinary. Although they were technically condensed from the ambient energy of the slaughter, their density and quality seemed as though they came from formidable, more than seventy-thousand-year-old apex spirit beasts, which was the absolute, maximum limit of what his current, Level 80 physical body could safely bear without detonating.

They had absolutely nothing to do with those previous, comical ten-year-old spirit rings. They were all pure, unadulterated power-type and attack-type spirit rings that perfectly, flawlessly suited the inherently destructive nature of the Clear Sky Hammer. They covered any of its previous, glaring weaknesses in agility or crowd control, while exponentially enhancing its raw, blunt-force strength by infusing it with pure Killing Intent, localized Gravity manipulation, and dark Lightning.

Tang San admired the deep black rings, mentally reviewing his newly acquired, devastating arsenal. His hammer now possessed the innate attribute of death, and his first three spirit rings each granted him a distinct, highly lethal ability that carried very powerful Asura Energy, raising the weapon's base weight to a terrifying degree and making it even better in foundational quality than that of his great-grandfather Tang Chen's hammer.

His First Spirit Ring, a deep black halo of sixty-five thousand years, granted him the ability 'Asura's Tremor'. Upon striking the air or the ground, it sent a highly concentrated, invisible shockwave of pure killing intent traveling through the medium. This shockwave completely ignored external physical defense or armor, striking directly at the opponent's spiritual sea to cause instant, paralyzing brain hemorrhages.

His Second Spirit Ring, glowing with the density of sixty-eight thousand years, bestowed 'Asura's Weight'. By manipulating the death attribute, Tang San could temporarily, exponentially multiply the physical mass of the hammer head during a swing, creating a localized gravity collapse upon impact that could shatter a mountain peak into dust.

His Third Spirit Ring, pulsing with the might of seventy-two thousand years, unlocked 'Asura's Execution'. This ability allowed him to summon bolts of dark, crimson lightning infused heavily with the suppressive power of the death domain, calling the lightning to strike down from the heavens to strike his foes whenever the hammer swung in a wide arc.

Adding these three terrifying abilities to the phenomenal power of the Titan Giant Ape's 'Titan Hammer' and the Sky Azure Bull Python's 'Clear Sky Dragon's Soul', his Clear Sky Hammer was now a flawless, divine instrument of total annihilation.

He retracted the heavy hammer, shifting his focus inward to assess his primary, control-based martial spirit.

He felt the seven rings of his Purple Spirit Grass—ranging from the paralytic 'Bind' of the Datura Snake to the terrifying, colossal botanical transformation of the 'Purple Spirit Grass Avatar' granted by the sixty-thousand-year-old Abyssal Ghost-Weaver Mantis. His control over the battlefield was absolute.

Furthermore, he felt the reassuring, heavy presence of his five supreme spirit bones integrated into his skeleton. The Left Arm Bone of the Titan Giant Ape providing gravity control. The Right Arm Bone of the Sky Azure Bull Python offering temporal slowing claws and fading thunderclaps. The Torso Bone of the Earthquake Bear granting toxic tremors. The Left Leg Bone of the Poison Beetle ensuring passive, noxious defense.

And finally, resting securely within his upper jaw, his most crucial, horrific asset: the External Spirit Bone, the Dual Poison Fangs. These retractable fangs, having mutated far beyond fifty thousand years in quality, possessed the 'Vampiric Devouring' ability. By violently biting into the throats of his fallen enemies in the Slaughter City, he had ruthlessly drained their toxic fluids, their life force, and their blood. This horrific, vampiric cultivation method was the primary, bloody reason he had managed to bypass normal human bottlenecks to rapidly advance to Level 80, becoming a Pseudo Spirit Douluo.

He just needed to attach his Eighth Spirit Ring to officially cross the threshold and become a powerful, legitimate Spirit Douluo.

Tang San inhaled deeply, the white mist of the Death God Domain swirling around his boots.

His current, staggering cultivation gave him an absolute, unshakeable confidence in defeating any peer among his age across the entire continent. After all, he had spent years mastering the intricate, compounding strikes of the 'Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer' taught to him by his father, Tang Hao.

He had perfected the devastating, explosive techniques of the 'Clear Sky Nine Absolutes' taught to him by his uncle, Tang Xiao. And finally... the two legendary Titled Douluos had sparred with him daily, heavily enriching his combat experience.

"Zhang Tian," Tang San whispered, his voice a harsh, grating sound born of disuse. "Your time is running out. I am coming for you. I will shatter your empire, and I will take back Xiao Wu."

CRUNCH.

The sound of heavy, deliberate footsteps crunching against the frozen snow drew Tang San's attention. He turned smoothly, his hand resting near his waist where his hidden weapons were stored, his purple eyes narrowing in caution.

Stepping out from behind a massive, frost-covered boulder was a tall, incredibly well-built man. He had spiked black hair reaching his shoulders, healthy, slightly pale skin, and a domineering, fearless grin that seemed to exude effortless, absolute power. The intricate, glowing red sword mark rested proudly on his forehead.

It was Tang Chen.

The legendary Limit Douluo had abandoned the heavy, scarlet coat of the Slaughter King, currently wearing simple, sturdy martial arts robes suitable for travel.

"You survived, little one," Tang Chen spoke, his deep, dignified voice carrying a profound sense of grandfatherly pride. He looked at the thick, white mist swirling around his great-grandson. "And you have claimed the domain. The Asura God's favor rests heavily upon your shoulders."

"Great-grandfather," Tang San greeted respectfully, bowing deeply at the waist.

After emerging from the cleansing light of the Sea God weeks ago, Tang Chen had recognized the young man fighting his way through the Hell Slaughter Arena. Operating within his mandated duties as the Slaughter King and the High Priest, Tang Chen had subtly, secretly helped his great-grandson quite a bit during his time in the Slaughter City, arranging favorable matches and ensuring Tang San had the optimal conditions to conquer the Hell Road.

Tang Chen stepped forward, placing a heavy, incredibly warm hand on Tang San's shoulder. "You have washed away the humiliation upon your Clear Sky Hammer, Xiao San. Your hammer is whole, and your spirit is forged in iron. The Clear Sky Sect has a true heir."

Tang San looked up, his eyes burning with resolve. "What happens now, Great-grandfather? Do you remain bound to that cursed city?"

"I am the Slaughter King, after all," Tang Chen nodded slowly, a hint of ancient sorrow in his dark eyes. "But the Sea God's decree allows me freedom, so long as the bloody order of the city is maintained. I am not a prisoner. I am the High Priest of the Asura God's God Position guiding you as the next true Asura God."

He squeezed Tang San's shoulder firmly. "We are leaving this frozen wasteland. We are heading towards the Clear Sky Sect which as you said to me is in Star Luo Empire."

Tang San nodded, a cold, anticipated thrill rushing through his veins. "To reunite with Father and Uncle Xiao."

"Exactly," Tang Chen smiled, a predatory, terrifying expression that mirrored the dark energy of his descendant. "And after we return, after we gather our strength and assess the impending war against the Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Sect... I will personally accompany you, your father Tang Hao, and your Uncle Tang Xiao into the deepest, most dangerous regions of the Star Dou Great Forest."

Tang Chen looked out over the snowy horizon, his gaze seemingly piercing through the miles toward the southern continent.

"You need to finalize your breakthrough, Xiao San," Tang Chen declared, his voice echoing with absolute authority. "We are going to hunt for your Eighth Spirit Ring. And with three generations of the Clear Sky Sect's greatest hammer wielders hunting together, we will accept nothing less than an eighty-thousand to ninety-thousand-year-old apex Spirit Beast to serve as the crown jewel for your Purple Spirit Grass. We will forge you into a weapon capable of shattering the heavens."

Tang San smiled, his plain features twisting into a mask of pure, confident malice.

"I am ready, Great-Grandfather," Tang San replied, turning his back on the frozen exit of the Slaughter City. "Let us go south. The era of the Clear Sky Sect is returning."

The two men, representing the absolute pinnacle of human slaughter and martial legacy, began their long trek across the snow, their dark auras leaving a trail of withered frost in their wake, marching steadily toward a war that would consume the world.
