November 18, 2017.
The first God King, Odin, passed away peacefully in Asgard.
Unlike the original timeline, where Loki had banished him to Earth and he worried about Hela, the Goddess of Death, even in his final moments, this Odin died at home, surrounded by his wife and children.
Moreover, Odin felt no regrets.
He had witnessed Thor's growth into a fully qualified king, the Hela problem had been resolved, and through his foresight, he had foreseen the end of Ragnarök.
All that remained was satisfaction.
The same could be said for Thor.
He had worshipped Odin his entire life, and in the end, he had not disappointed his Father King.
He had even become someone Odin could be proud of, earning his father's approval.
For Thor, this was the greatest achievement of his life.
Having witnessed his Father King's tumultuous yet glorious life, Thor understood that Odin's end could be considered a perfect conclusion.
But what about Loki?
Sister Loki was filled with regret.
Her adoration for Odin was no less than that of her foolish brother Thor, perhaps even greater.
All her schemes and schemes had been nothing more than a desperate attempt to earn Odin's approval, to gain just a sliver more of his love.
But Loki failed. Instead, she only deepened Odin's disappointment.
Before she could make amends, Odin died suddenly!
For Loki, it was as if the sky had fallen.
She had lost her chance forever.
The thought that Odin had died still carrying disappointment in her, unable to feel pride in her, shattered Loki's composure.

The events in Asgard were naturally unknown in the neighboring universe.
Over the past few days, Charles had been primarily investigating Apocalypse and related matters.
After days of monitoring En Sabah Nur's followers, Charles had narrowed his focus to a cult church in Cairo, where he suspected something was hidden beneath the courtyard.
A hidden underground cave lay beneath the courtyard, and the followers frequently descended into it for worship.
This was completely different from the way other followers worshipped images and statues.
Charles attempted to control the minds of several followers and observe the cave's depths through their eyes.
But all he could see was a pile of ruins.
In addition, there was an object resembling the apex of a pyramid.
It was covered in intricate carvings, its purpose unknown.
However, this only strengthened Charles's suspicions.
After all, Clark had mentioned that En Sabah Nur was born in Egypt.
And what is Egypt most famous for?
Naturally, the pyramids!
Moreover, the pyramids are hailed as wonders of the world.
Despite centuries of research by countless experts and scholars, their true purpose remains a mystery.
No one knows how the pyramids were built. All we know is that they simply couldn't have been constructed with the technology of that era.
They are products completely beyond their time, enigmatic and mysterious.
But what if the pyramids were created by Apocalypse?
Wouldn't that make more sense?
After all, the diary clearly states that Apocalypse possesses the ability to manipulate matter and restructure it.
In other words, they can create things out of thin air!
Creating something like the pyramids wouldn't be strange at all.
"Cairo!"
Charles immediately locked onto this location—more specifically, the large compound.
This would be the next clue he needed to investigate thoroughly.
However, he doubted he could uncover much using the Cerebro.
Charles decided to wait for the right moment to personally visit Cairo with his companions.
Besides that,
He had also found Phoenix. She was only a six or seven-year-old girl.
Even so, through the Cerebro, Charles could clearly sense a terrifying power hidden within her.
The presence of this power made him hold his breath, afraid to even exhale.
Charles had a feeling he was facing a slumbering behemoth. If he accidentally woke it, the consequences could be catastrophic.
*Is that the Phoenix Force?*
*It's truly terrifying!*
Charles felt a chill run down his spine.
Only now did he understand why the diary had rated the Phoenix Force so highly. The power within Jean was indeed that terrifying. Even sensing just a glimpse of it had been this overwhelming; Charles had no doubt that if fully unleashed, it could destroy the world.
"Who's there?"
"Who are you?"
Just as he was silently marveling, Jean, who had been quietly playing with her toys, suddenly sensed something. She whirled around, her eyes sharp with vigilance, and called out sharply.
Charles: "..."
She had actually detected his "peering"!
Since Hank had created Cerebro, Charles had used it to locate countless Mutants, but this was the first time anyone had ever sensed his intrusion. And it was a six or seven-year-old girl at that.
*Truly worthy of the name Phoenix!*
Charles thought to himself, then instantly withdrew his mental probe.
"Charles, Erik has arrived."
Hank appeared just as Charles was about to use Cerebro to scan for other Mutants, delivering the news.
Charles's spirits lifted. Without another word, he removed Cerebro and went to greet his old friend.
Erik surveyed Charles, who had approached him, and immediately sensed a change in him. He looked different from when they last parted.
*It seems Charles has finally come to his senses and is no longer lost.*
Erik's face lit up with anticipation. He smiled at Charles. "Old friend, you're looking well."
"I've been sleeping quite well lately," Charles replied with a smile.
He then began to welcome Erik.
Since Raven hadn't arrived yet, Charles didn't immediately broach the serious matter they needed to discuss. Instead, they simply enjoyed a reunion with an old friend.
Chatting, laughing, and savoring life within Xavier's Mansion was a pleasant way to spend the time.
Three more days passed before Raven arrived. Only then did Charles reveal his true intentions.
"A Mutant nation?"
"Did you just say... a nation?"
Erik looked as if he couldn't believe his ears, and Raven's voice rose several octaves in surprise. Both were stunned by the sheer audacity of Charles's idea.
*What a wild thought, dude!*
Even Erik, as audacious as he was, couldn't have come up with such a world-shattering concept. This was beyond stimulating.
"I know," Hank interjected with a chuckle. "My reaction was the same as yours."
"So, do you need a few minutes to digest this?" Charles asked, glancing at them with a hint of exasperation.
Erik and Raven exchanged glances, then scrutinized Charles intently, confirming he was serious and not joking. But the more they confirmed his seriousness, the more absurd and preposterous the idea seemed.
"Charles, I genuinely admire your creativity. Truly, from the bottom of my heart."
"I'm also glad to see you've changed, no longer the person you once were... well, I won't comment on the person you used to be."
"But do you really think this has a chance of succeeding?"
"We're talking about establishing a nation here!"
Raven raised her doubts. Establishing a nation wasn't child's play!
"Why shouldn't it?"
"In fact, I don't see how this differs from what we've always been doing."
"We've always been building our own bases; this time, our base will just be larger."
"We've always been trying to unite our people; this time, we'll just put in more effort."
"All we need to do is take it a step further, get recognition from the governments of the world, and that's it."
Charles calmly explained to Erik and Raven.
"No matter how you downplay it, you can't hide the madness behind this. This is absolutely the craziest idea I've ever heard in my life."
Raven still found it difficult to accept.
"Charles..."
Erik smiled. "For so long, we've walked on opposing paths. I once scoffed at your naive, idealistic fantasies, but this time... I must admit, I can't find any reason to refute you!"
"Erik?"
Raven wanted to cover her face.
"Charles is right. He's thinking more long-term, far beyond what I imagined." Erik spoke with conviction. "I've always been dedicated to saving and uniting our brethren, but what comes after that?"
"Resistance, conflict—these are not our ends, but our means. The tools of our struggle."
"But isn't the ultimate goal of our struggle to truly win our rightful place, our dignity?"
"A Mutant nation... I can't think of a better method than that."
Erik expressed his strong approval of Charles's radical idea.
And what about Raven?
Seeing that Charles and Erik had already reached an agreement and were both as excited as if they'd been injected with adrenaline, what else could she say?
Or rather, Raven's opinion wasn't really that important.
Though she had an extraordinary relationship with both Charles and Erik, there had always been only two leaders of the Mutant community:
Professor X and Magneto.
Since both Professor X and Magneto believed this plan was viable, there was nothing more to discuss.
Moreover, Raven had only been initially shocked by Charles's audacious idea.
But after calming down and analyzing it carefully, she realized it was indeed the best path forward for Mutants that anyone could think of so far.
Of course, this was no easy feat. It would require years of preparation and accumulation, and the probability of success was slim.
But that didn't deter Charles and Erik. They would continue to strive for it relentlessly.
"Oh, and there's one more thing."
After finalizing the "Great Founding" plan, Charles's expression turned serious as he began to tell Erik and Raven about Apocalypse.
The two listened in stunned silence, their expressions growing increasingly astonished.
The world's first Mutant?
*Even the Bible plagiarized him?*
*This is utterly unheard of!*
*They'd dealt with plenty of Mutants, but how had they never heard of one like this?*
"Charles, how did you learn about this Apocalypse?" Erik couldn't help but press.
"Ah, well..." Charles smiled mysteriously, as if holding a secret.
He then revealed the existence of the "mysterious object" that allowed him to foresee the future, telling Erik and Raven about it.
The two were stunned into silence once more.
*An object that can predict the future, but only Charles can see it, while everyone else remains blind?*
*This sounds utterly absurd.*
"A mysterious object? So, it's not a Mutant after all?" Hank interjected, his voice filled with astonishment.
Until now, he'd always assumed the entity that granted Charles his precognition was a Mutant.
"Charles, it's not that I don't believe you, but this sounds too far-fetched," Raven said doubtfully. "I've never heard of such a thing."
"Now you have," Charles replied, spreading his hands. "I know you're worried, but I can assure you, every future revealed by that object has come true without a single mistake."
Charles then proceeded to share specific examples with the two.
These included Wolverine's arrival, his own journey to the future via Wolverine, Erik's attempt to assassinate Raven, the rise of Apocalypse, and more.
"So that's why you suddenly had this epiphany and regained your powers?" Erik exclaimed, his eyes widening in realization.
"No wonder... back on the plane, you were still acting like a dejected old man."
"But upon returning to Xavier's Institute, you were completely transformed, back in your wheelchair!"
"So all along, you'd traveled to the future through Wolverine... and under the guidance of another version of yourself, you resolved your inner conflict!"
Since Charles had genuinely journeyed to the future, met his alternate self, and witnessed firsthand the Sentinel-dominated apocalyptic world, all the evidence was irrefutable.
Even if the "mysterious object" sounded utterly absurd, Erik and Raven were left speechless.
Moreover, Charles was no fool; on the contrary, he possessed the most powerful mind in the world.
He was perfectly capable of discerning truth from falsehood.
Having verified the object's authenticity, Erik and Raven chose to believe Charles after calming down.
