After a moment's thought, Ultimate Tony quickly figured out what was going on.
Clearly, Captain America had no idea he had such an illegitimate son.
In other words, Captain America had been completely absent from this son's entire life.
After all, everyone knew that Captain America had been frozen in ice for fifty years until he was discovered by a deep-sea probe developed by his own government.
Therefore, Captain America's influence on his illegitimate son had been minimal, if not entirely nonexistent.
It wasn't impossible for him to have become a supervillain.
Besides, even if Captain America had fathered this son just before his "death," Red Skull would have been over fifty years old at the very least.
The playboy couldn't help but feel speechless. At his age, why wasn't he retired yet?
Could it be that Captain America's Super Soldier Serum is hereditary, making Red Skull a super-soldier just like him?
After careful consideration, Ultimate Tony concluded that the latter possibility was more likely.
After all, the Baxter Building is not a place anyone can just break into; only superhumans can get inside, and not just any superhumans, but those with real skills.
On this point, Ultimate Tony had plenty of authority.
He himself had spent his student years at the Baxter Building and knew it better than anyone.
"Captain's personal life is really a mess," Ultimate Tony couldn't help but shake his head and mutter.
If Red Skull is a superhuman, things get a bit more complicated.
But then again, this is ultimately Captain America's problem.
Ultimate Tony was more of an observer, and didn't really mind.
He figured that given his relationship with Captain, he'd tell him about it when the opportunity arose.
How it was handled was Captain America's business.
Later, Dr. Stark single-handedly orchestrated the war between the Avengers and the New Ultimates, plunging the entire world into chaos.
Nick Fury certainly seized upon this incident to make his move.
He reclaimed S.H.I.E.L.D. from Carol.
In the realm of schemes and conspiracies, Carol truly couldn't outplay Nick Fury—her brother, Iron Man, Dr. Stark, might have stood a chance.
Both he and Nick Fury were old foxes, with Dr. Stark even having a slight edge.
If Nick Fury hadn't been more cautious and taken the "Hulk Pill" in advance, transforming into the Hulk at the critical moment, Dr. Stark would have eliminated him long ago.
I must admit, Iron Man's brother is truly formidable—he could sweep the Ultimate Team single-handedly.
Being ten times smarter than Iron Man wasn't just empty talk.
Dr. Stark?
???
In Universe 199999, Tony's forehead immediately erupted with a cascade of question marks.
Tony Stark was utterly intrigued by this new figure mentioned in the diary.
*Dr. Stark?* he thought. *There's no way they're talking about me, the great Tony Stark, right?*
*And it's definitely not my old man, Howard!*
*So, who could it be?*
*Could it be that in that other universe, the Stark family has someone else besides me?*
*Does Ultimate Tony have any siblings?*
*Or is this Dr. Stark just another guy with the surname Stark, completely unrelated to me?*
*Regardless of who this person is, they don't seem like an ordinary character.*
*They actually single-handedly instigated a massive war between the Avengers and the New Ultimates!*
*The Avengers?*
*So, Universe 1610 has Avengers, but no Avengers Initiative?*
*Why else would the diary never mention the Avengers Initiative, while the Ultimate Team keeps getting mentioned repeatedly?*
*And judging by the tone, the Ultimate Team is clearly an organization equivalent to the Avengers Initiative.*
What exactly is the "New" Ultimate Team?
Could it be that the Ultimate Team has been reorganized?
A barrage of questions flashed through Tony's mind.
But without more information, the playboy was momentarily bewildered.
Of course, he didn't know that in Universe 1610, there was no Avengers; only the Ultimate Team existed.
The Ultimate Team was, in fact, the Avengers of Universe 1610.
And the "Avengers" mentioned here were actually a team Nick Fury had assembled himself during the Red Skull Incident: the Black Ops Team.
Although its members were all Avengers, it had nothing to do with the Avengers and was called the Black Ops Team.
Still, even without fully understanding the Avengers' origins, Tony instantly grasped Dr. Stark's scheme.
It was nothing more than instigating a civil war among the superheroes!
The diary didn't go into detail about the specifics, but it seemed to involve a major power struggle between Dr. Stark, Carol, and Nick Fury.
The exact course of the conflict wasn't detailed either, but it was clear that Nick Fury was the ultimate winner.
Carol retreated, and Nick Fury regained control of S.H.I.E.L.D.
As for his own brother, Dr. Stark...
So, Dr. Stark was actually his other self's brother!
In Universe 1610, he had another relative!
Tony had to admit, this was something he never could have imagined.
What's more, it seemed his other self's "freebie brother" was quite formidable.
He could single-handedly sweep the Ultimate Team!
If that were the case in his own universe, wouldn't that mean he could single-handedly sweep the Avengers?
*Holy shit.*
This was completely on the level of a major supervillain.
And this Dr. Stark had started the Civil War, plunged the world into chaos, and nearly killed Nick Fury...
Looking at all this, it seemed Dr. Stark wasn't exactly a good guy, was he?
*Alright.*
Considering how the characters in Universe 1610 weren't exactly "proper" in their art style, Tony figured he could accept it even if Dr. Stark turned out to be a villain.
As for being ten times smarter than him? Tony just scoffed.
*That diary's always been prone to exaggeration. I know how it works!*
"Gregory?"
In Universe 1610, Ultimate Tony froze completely.
How could he have imagined that while he was happily gossiping, he'd suddenly find himself the subject of the gossip?
He couldn't help but wonder what his half-brother, Gregory, had been up to.
Though Ultimate Tony and Gregory's relationship wasn't great, blood was thicker than water.
After all, he was still his brother.
Ultimate Tony suddenly perked up and meticulously read through the latest batch of spoilers.
He breathed a sigh of relief when he didn't find any mention of Gregory's fate.
As for the diary's claims that Gregory had caused global chaos and nearly killed Nick Fury, Ultimate Tony wasn't surprised.
Though he didn't know the specifics or what had happened, he knew Gregory was absolutely capable of such things.
After all, Gregory possessed wealth rivaling nations and a mind that was no less brilliant than his own.
That's right, Gregory was also a genius.
While saying he was ten times smarter than Tony was an exaggeration, he was certainly ten times smarter than the average person.
He was undoubtedly among the world's most intelligent individuals.
There was just one thing that puzzled him: how did Nick Fury turn into the Hulk?
And what about this "Hulk Pill"? Could taking it really turn someone into the Hulk?
Just like that?
Had Banner's research made another groundbreaking breakthrough?
But how come he'd never heard anything about this?
Could the diary be predicting future events?
Ultimate Tony fell into deep contemplation.
Inevitably, he reached no firm conclusion.
He temporarily set aside his thoughts and refocused on the diary, eager to see what it would reveal next.
After waiting several minutes with no response, the diary abruptly fell silent once more, just as it had before.
What else could Ultimate Tony do?
He reluctantly closed the diary but continued to ponder.
Ponder what?
Naturally, whether this mysterious diary was trustworthy or not.
First, the very idea of predicting the future was hard to believe, even for someone like Ultimate Tony, who had witnessed countless extraordinary events.
But then again, this wasn't just any diary.
Its own peculiar power was undeniable.
Ultimate Tony didn't believe anyone would create such a miraculous thing just to deceive him.
Moreover, some of the information revealed in the diary did align with certain hidden truths.
For instance, Ultimate Tony's proposal and the mention of nanobots.
Considering all these factors, Ultimate Tony naturally couldn't ignore the diary's spoilers.
After much deliberation, Ultimate Tony ultimately decided on a cautious approach: observing from a distance.
He would wait and see if the events described in the diary actually came to pass.
*Bang!*
As these thoughts flashed through his mind, the door burst open.
Natasha, now fully dressed, strode into the room.
Ultimate Tony instinctively turned his head and saw Natasha's face etched with grave concern, as if something major had happened.
His heart skipped a beat. *No way... could it be?*
*Could one of the major events described in the diary actually be coming true?*
"What's wrong, Natasha?" he asked, keeping his voice casual. "Why the long face?"
Though his mind raced with questions, Ultimate Tony maintained his composure, casually glancing at Natasha.
"Tony, something's happened," Natasha said, her expression growing even more somber. "You need to see this."
She quickly grabbed the remote and turned on the massive screen in the room.
A news report immediately began to play.
"This morning, a shocking document was sent to our organization and other major media outlets worldwide."
"The document reveals that the security agencies have known the Hulk's origins and name all along."
"S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury refuses to admit his involvement in covering up the incident that resulted in the deaths of over eight hundred people."
"If all of this is true, it undeniably proves that the Hulk is a S.H.I.E.L.D. employee who has been concealed from the public."
The Hulk's true identity had been leaked!
Just as the diary had said!
Everything written in the diary had come true.
Ultimate Tony froze completely.
He was completely caught off guard by this earth-shattering revelation.
At that moment, his mind wasn't focused on questions like "Who leaked the information?" or "How could this possibly happen?"
Instead, he was stunned by the diary's "prophecy"!
Ultimate Tony had only just decided to carefully observe whether the events described in the diary would actually occur.
Yet in the blink of an eye, the diary had delivered a crushing blow.
So... could it be that everything written in the diary was true?
Could the diary truly predict the future?
The ironclad facts stared him in the face, leaving Ultimate Tony with no choice but to believe them.
His attitude toward the diary subconsciously shifted.
Though he didn't yet fully trust it, his confidence had grown significantly compared to before.
If that were the case...
Ultimate Tony instinctively glanced at the beauty beside him.
*Is Natasha truly a super-spy embedded in S.H.I.E.L.D.?*
*Is she lurking by my side to kill me?*
Sensing his gaze, Natasha turned and met his eyes, taking in every nuance of his expression.
However, Natasha assumed Tony's shock was due to the Hulk intel leak and didn't think much of it.
"How could this happen?"
"Why was Banner's identity leaked?!"
Only then did Ultimate Tony deliberately feign shock and doubt, putting on the act he was expected to.
"I can't figure it out either. S.H.I.E.L.D. has Level 10 clearance, higher than the President's. Such classified files should never leak."
Natasha echoed his confusion and skepticism.
At least for now, Ultimate Tony showed no cracks in his facade.
"A traitor in S.H.I.E.L.D.? Or some kind of spy? What the hell is Nick Fury doing?" Ultimate Tony cursed viciously.
This wasn't an act; the fury was genuine.
Whether Natasha was truly the spy described in the diary or not, Nick Fury, as director of S.H.I.E.L.D., couldn't escape responsibility for the leak of such critical classified documents.
"It's too early to say what's really going on," Natasha analyzed calmly. "Prepare yourself. After an incident of this magnitude, Nick Fury will definitely call everyone together."
As it turned out, Natasha was right.
Soon, Ultimate Tony received a call from Nick Fury. The director, due to the leak of the Hulk's identity, urgently summoned Tony and Natasha to the Triskelion Building for an emergency meeting.
Ultimate Tony didn't hesitate. After quickly wrapping up his current tasks, he and Natasha rushed to the Triskelion Building.
They weren't the only ones there. Captain America, Hawkeye Barton, Wasp, and the Quicksilver and Wanda siblings were also present.
The only ones missing were Banner, the subject of the incident, and Thor, who had decided to withdraw from the Ultimate Team.
