Chapter 109 - Chapter 109. Fury's Journey into the Temple Exploration.

"It's almost over, Hulk."

"This time I really had fun."

Alaric decided to end the fight.

It would be boring to keep fighting any longer.

"Hulk!"

Hulk roared, showing that he was enjoying himself too!

Boom!

This time, Alaric no longer held back his power; relying on unparalleled strength, he forcefully pressed down on Hulk and started a one-sided, ferocious beating!

Alaric stepped on Hulk's chest with his foot and delivered blow after blow.

"Ugh…"

Boom!

In the end, Hulk, enduring the constant blows, couldn't hold on and lost consciousness.

As Hulk passed out, Banner's body gradually returned to normal.

Alaric carried Banner back to the temple.

Ten minutes later, Banner woke up.

"It's over."

Banner stood up and scratched his head.

"So, do you have any extra clothes here?"

Banner asked awkwardly to Alaric, who was sitting on the couch drinking coffee.

"I do."

Alaric waved his hand and a set of casual clothes appeared directly on Banner's body, replacing those oversized shorts that couldn't be torn.

"Wow! What kind of ability is this!?"

Banner was extremely impressed; he touched the clothes with his hands and confirmed they were real!

"It's magic, sit down, would you like some coffee?"

"Alright, thank you!"

Banner was relaxed in front of Alaric, because he knew that even if Hulk showed up, Alaric would be able to stop him from causing destruction.

Besides, through their interaction, Banner at least realized that Alaric had no other intentions against him, like arresting him for research or something like that.

"I still don't know your name?"

"My name is Alaric and I'm a wizard."

"I'm Banner."

"I know you, the great doctor, the one with seven PhDs," Alaric replied.

"Yes, yes~" Banner was pleased with Alaric's words.

Because that was a recognition of him!

"Is this still New York?" asked Banner, looking at the unfamiliar surroundings.

"Still in Manhattan, New York."

"Manhattan… The damage from earlier is serious, isn't it?"

Banner's heart grew heavy thinking about the big battle between Abomination and Hulk.

"Well, several streets were destroyed, but fortunately the army arrived in time, the casualties weren't large, and you don't need to blame yourself too much."

"Thank you."

"Do you have a place you want to go? I can escort you."

"Anywhere? I'd like somewhere with few people."

Banner asked hopefully.

"Of course, wherever you want to go."

"I want to go…"

Banner said and paused to think.

Few people, and not easy targets, where would that be?

"I want to go to India or South Africa," said Banner.

"Just, my identity is very sensitive. If I leave suddenly, I'm afraid I'll be targeted before I even get there."

Banner sighed.

"Don't worry, I'm a wizard and can use magic to teleport you directly to any location."

"That's great!"

Banner rejoiced, so no one would disturb him for a long time!

"Shall we go now?" asked Alaric.

"Yes, yes!" Banner said and stood up.

"By the way… could you lend me some money…"

Banner patted his empty pockets and spoke embarrassedly.

"Don't worry, I'll pay you back!"

"I believe you."

Alaric extended his hand and pulled out a wad of dollars out of thin air, about thirty to forty thousand.

"Here you go."

"Isn't this too much…"

"Be prepared, where do you want to go?"

"India." Banner nodded.

Alaric opened a portal, on the other side it showed a location in India.

"Thank you! Mister Alaric!" Banner couldn't be more grateful.

"Good luck. By the way, here's my business card, you can call me if you need anything."

"Thanks again!!"

...

After seeing Banner off, Alaric sat down and continued drinking his coffee; he planned to go to Asgard and find Jane after finishing his cup.

Then, in that leisurely moment, the temple door suddenly creaked softly.

Alaric activated his perception, wanting to find out who was so bold as to come into his temple and steal!

Then Alaric saw Nick Fury in a black coat and eye patch, sneaking into the temple.

"Do you think I'm Tony?"

Alaric looked wordlessly at Fury, who was carefully inspecting the temple, and suddenly moved, activated an invisibility spell, slowly floated into the air, holding his coffee, wanting to see what Fury was planning.

...

After learning a few things about Alaric from Tony, Fury finally decided to approach Alaric personally.

Then, after an anxious day of waiting, the most suitable night for an agent to go on a mission finally arrived.

At first, Fury thought to knock on the door when he arrived, but when he came to the temple and discovered the silence, his agent instinct kicked in; he skillfully picked the lock and sneaked in.

Alaric and Banner were previously on the third floor, so Fury didn't notice anyone was there.

Thus, Fury began his temple reconnaissance.

He wasn't afraid of being caught; after all, he had serious reasons and an official identity.

He truly came to recruit Alaric and wanted to invite him to join his Avengers plan.

This powerful man, stronger than Iron Man and even capable of restraining Hulk, was exactly what Fury wanted most!

In Fury's heart, Captain Marvel was the strongest! After all, she could fly off Earth and singlehandedly stop an entire fleet.

But when he saw Alaric, he felt Alaric could replace Captain Marvel, who wasn't on Earth, and become the absolute backbone of the Avengers plan!

"Old architecture… fitting for a wizard's style."

Fury quietly took intelligence notes while exploring.

Most of the first floor didn't have much to see, until Fury reached a maze-like corridor.

Alaric silently floated behind Fury, and suddenly his eyes lit up; he quietly activated a trap, a magic circle he had long prepared but hadn't officially used yet.

This magic circle immediately opened a passage to Alaric's seven elemental spaces, and any of those spaces, except the stone one, was very safe, but for Fury, life-threatening.

Then Fury circled around, looking for the right path in that maze, and in the next moment appeared in a world full of rocks.

Fury: ???

Fury looked around confused, suspecting that this must be one of Alaric's magical means.

"Aren't you supposed to be trapped?!"

"Fak!"

"Mister Alaric?! Are you here? I'm Nick Fury from S.H.I.E.L.D.! I've come to see you for something important!"

Fury shouted loudly.

He really hoped that Alaric had discovered him and was just toying with him.

Instead of having him caught in this mysterious magician's residence by a trap.

Otherwise, Fury didn't know if Alaric could find him inside.

If he wasn't noticed, he was done for!!
