Miranda, Nera, and Leo stood frozen on the wall as the explosion slowly faded and the smoke began to clear.

"Yes," Leo nodded, his eyes shining with ambition. His fists clenched unconsciously. He wanted to be strong like that one day. He wanted to stand alone against enemies and crush them without fear.
Nera did not speak, but her gaze remained fixed on the figure standing in the center of the destroyed battlefield. Respect and awe flickered across her calm face.
