Far above Blank City, the two black-cloaked figures quietly looked down at the enormous barrier covering the entire city. The cold wind brushed past their robes while neither of them showed the slightest emotion.
One of them slowly stepped forward.
He was a mage.He calmly raised the long staff in his hand and pointed it toward the sky.
The moment the staff was lifted, countless magic circles began appearing one after another. They spread across the heavens while rotating slowly and intertwining with each other. More and more circles continued to appear until they completely covered the sky above Blank City.
An enormous magic formation soon took shape.
The surrounding mana violently gathered toward it while the air itself began trembling under the terrifying pressure.
The mage glanced toward his companion.
"So I don't need to hold back, right? I can just flatten everything, right?"
The swordsman standing beside him never even looked away from the city.
