Ethan stood in the middle of the destroyed area, staring at the pillar in shock. Flames were still burning around him, and pieces of the broken structure were scattered across the ground, but the pillar was still standing. Even after taking his attack directly, it had not collapsed.
For a moment, Ethan simply stared at it. He could doubt many things, but he had never doubted his destructive power. His power of offense was far above his league, and with the strength he had just used, he had expected the pillar to be completely destroyed.
"Damnnn?"
Ethan's eyes widened as he looked at the pillar again. He slowly tightened his grip around Solaris while his expression became more and more disturbed.
"Just what kind of spell is this?"
He stepped forward and examined the pillar from a distance. There were several cracks around the ground beneath it, and the surrounding area had been destroyed, yet the pillar itself remained almost completely intact.
"Fuckk..I don't believe it.."
