That same night as Reggie floated in the air, he watched as the night skies became clear again as a result of the disappearing chaos that had occurred. The moon shined brightly and the stars were gleaming as well, he took a sigh of relief "HWHOO! Well, all's well that ends well.... I think.". Suddenly, his phone buzzed, he looked at his pockets in confusion "Hm? Who could that be?", he asked himself. He picked up the phone and asked "Hello?", he greeted. Laria's voice boomed out of the phone "REGGIE ANDERSON LANCER, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?!". Reggie replied while feeling a little nervous "Um, Laria? You don't need to be so loud.". Laria yelled "OFFCOURSE I NEED TO BE LOUD! YOU DECIDED TO FLY OFF SOMEWHERE WITHOUT GIVING ME ANY INFORMATION! THE NEXT THING I KNOW IT, A GIANT TORNADO KICKS ME ON THE FACE!", Andre explained "Um, I also got hit on the face by a tornado too.", Laria yelled "SHUT IT ANDRE!". Reggie giggled a bit, Laria asked "What's so funny?!", Reggie replied "Nothing really. I'll explain to you everything you need to know. Let's just settle down now. We've completed our mission, so let's come back home. Got it?", Laria clicked her toung on the phone "Tch!", and then cut the call. Reggie took a sigh again "Ah, what a pain....", he looked at the horizon "Well, atleast we survived yet again another ehnlialation. Thank God.". Nagumo flew down towards Fugaku "Are you alright, Fugaku?", he asked, Fugaku responded "Yeah, sensei. I'm doing fine. Although my energy reserves are low right now. We might have to walk all the way back to the city.". Nagumo walked past him "Alright then. The city is just a few hundred kilometres away from here, we can walk.", Fugaku grew a lazy smile on his face and sighed "Walking a few hundred kilometres without energy was always a lot of work.", he walked along side Nagumo on the wastelands that had been reshaped due to the intense fight that had just happened. Meanwhile, at the city of Kagahara, streets had been destroyed, a couple buildings had been destroyed and soliders were injured. Despite the casualties, no one died, although the soliders that had fought had sustained huge life threatening damages and wounds. The citizens who were in their houses keeping themselves and their families safe, started to walk out of their homes "Is it over?", a man asked, his wife responded "Yeah, I think so.". Soliders started to help each other up "Are you okay?", one asked his injured ally "I'm fine. My legs gone, but with enough energy, I can regenerate it back in a few hours.", the injured solider replied as his friend helped him to walk. People had started reshaping their houses and streets that had taken damage from the battle, medics started to heal injured soldiers and citizens who were part time soliders as well. Fugaku looked around and thought to himself as soon as he walked back into the city along with Nagumo "It's only been a few hours since the invasion, and people are already rebuilding their houses and the destroyed districts. It's amazing how we function as a community that depends on itself.". Nagumo then explained "Offcourse it is. We don't depend on any nation for help, neither do we have a nation we come from to help us with our problems. From time, we've been our own help and means of survival.". Fugaku just smiled softly "Always being the motivational speaker I see.". As Reggie was flying accross the wastelands with the kids laying down on mechanical plates, Yuki opened up her eyes. She seemed weak and tired, she realised that for some reason, she was flying past mountains and large land masses. Her eye's widened a little more which made her realise "Huh? I'm.... flying?", she asked herself. She turned her head around and saw the rest of her friends also laying down unconcious on mechanical plates "Huh..Mio? Rem. Regina...? Gwen and Marallda too. Wait....", she turned to her left and saw Racheal and Lydia also unconcious as well. Yuki took a sigh "Oh, they're all hear too.", she said to herself in relief. Kito tiredly called her name "Yuki...", Yuki turned to him "Kito?", she exclaimed tiredly. Kito had a tired smile on his face "Looks like you got beat up. But you're awake, that's great.". Yuki asked "What happened?", Kito scoffed "No clue. All I know is that we aren't dead.". Suddenly, a sharp pain crossed his jaws "Ahh!", he groaned. Yuki became worried "Kito?! What's wrong?!", Kito responded as he held his jaw for a moment "Nothing. It's just that my face and jaws hurt.", he said with a tired and amused smirk. Reggie's eyes tilted backwards to Kito, he glanced at him before glancing at all the other kids. Volt, Yuji, White, Kito, Kazuma, Mio, Rem, Regina, Racheal, Lydia, Baroka,Gwen and Marallda. He looked at how battered they were, Reggie's eyes faced forward. He thought to himself "If I hadn't come on time, these kids would have died. I was walking along side Andre and Laria when I decided to track the kids down to see if I could help them. By the time I had dropped in, I saw Gwen fighting for her life with a hole drilled into her stomach. Not just that, but the rest of the kids where very injured and bruised....". Reggie just sighed "Ahh, whatever. Now's not the time to feel pity.". At the city, 11:20 PM, Reiko was taking charge of the reconstruction of the buildings that were destroyed in the war, she watched as cranes picked up the rubble, how soliders and citizens were piecing things back up, and how people where using their abilities and techniques to fix back their house. She thought to herself as she watched this "It's a miracle no one's dead. Like seriously, this was unexpected. The Knights practically just spawned in, they were more skilled and more powerful than usual. Not to talk of the fact that some of our heavy hitters were taken down while the other one's where out of fhr city. They were most likely on a mission.". She looked at the sky "But all in all, I'm just glad we made it through this one.".
