Rimeta was in complete shock "Fuck!", she exclaimed under her breath after being caught by Brenda. Brenda had caught Rimeta operating on Marallda who was unconscious on her hospital bed, her arms were crossed as she rested on the door "I'm only going to ask you once. Why are you here? Whatever I do next depends on your answer.", she said. Rimeta didn't know what to do at the moment, she just stood in a place, her eyes were completely shadowed "What am I going to do now? I've been caught trying to perform an operation on someone without permission, that's a crime in itself. I can't tell her that I'm her friend, she'd know I'm lying.", she thought to herself. Rimeta turned around and explained with a straight face "I'm Rimeta Destera. I'm somewhat of an acquaintance with Marallda Balsary, here. When I found out about her life threatening state, I came here to check up on her. And because of how worried I was, I acted on my own. I'm sorry for intruding.". Brenda looked at her for a moment and explained "Sorry, huh. You don't happen to be the reason why Marallda is in such a bad state, do you?". Rimeta kept quiet for a moment, Brenda then explained "You're Rimeta Destera. 13 years old. You work for the higher-ups, meaning that you do alot of dangerous abd dirty work more than most kids your age. One of them being a mission concerning her.....", Brenda's eyes narrowed "Which means you were either sent go kill her during a mission, or you came here to finish the job ", she explained to Rimeta. Rimeta kept quiet for a few moments, she was staring at Brenda. Brenda stared back, her eyes slowly gleaming green in colour. Rimeta took a sigh "Yes, you're right. I was supposed to kill her on my last mission, that's why she's in this situation. But if im being honest, I didn't come here to kill her. I came here to heal her. I felt bad for almost taking the life of a person who is just the same age as I am and in the same city as i am, so I came to help her heal up. I seriously didn't have intentions on taking her life.", Rimeta explained. Brenda just kept looking at her, just by looking, Brenda was able to see every nerve, organ and cell in Rimeta's body. And that is if you work for me as a junior doctor.", Rimeta paused for a moment "Junior doctor?", she asked herself. You were sending electrical signals while rewiring the part of her brain that had gotten destroyed. Although, you were treating her like you were fixing an electrical device. That's dangerous, you know?". Rimeta had a let down expression on her face "I probably was too carefree.", she muttered to herself. Brenda explained "Your skills are a bit rusty in some areas, but if im teaching you, I should be able to turn you into an amazing medic. So, what's it going to be?". Rimeta stood in a place and thought carefully "Is she really trying to make me her student? I imagined she'd report me to the officials. But if she did, then that would be bad for me. It could be a trap, but whatever. The best thing to do is co-operate with her. I'll take this as my first step into becoming a higher-Up.". After thinking carefully, Rimeta replied "Sure. I have no problems with that.". Brenda just smirked "Good.", she replied. She walked towards the unconscious Marallda and explained "Your training begins tomorrow. Make sure to be here by 7:30AM. Now go.", Rimeta just walked out of the room without a word. Brenda just sighed "Ah, kids these days.", a perverted smirk curld up on her face with drool slowly coming from her mouth "Ahhaha.", she giggled "I'm going to have a field day tomorrow.". Meanwhile, at the other side of the city, Volt and Celina where in a restaurant. Both of them had eaten a few plates of stake and spaghetti. Volt actually ate a lot, while Brenda had only taken two plates worth of food. Volt seemed satisfied "Who could have thought I'd eat this much? Looks like that two weeks coma really made me hungry.", he said to himself. Celina smiled and asked "You satisfied now?", Volt explained "Yeah, I am. More than usual.". They both got out of the restaurant and walked on the streets. While doing so, Volt said "Thanks for covering my food tabs. Really, I'm grateful.", Celina replied "Oh, it's nothing. I'm just glad you're stuffed.". Volt sighed and explained "Okay, I'll be going home now.", Celina stretched her hand out "Wait, don't go yet.". Volt turned around and asked "Hm? Is something the problem?", Celina shyly explained "Well, you see. My patrol mission is meant to be for three hours, and I was wondering if you could stay with me during my patrol.". Volt replied "Well, I'd love too. But I want to go home and take a bath. And plus, my roomates at the base probably think I'm dead.". Celina then nervously reacted in a loud tone "Ah, well I don't want that.....", she calmed down and said "Well, since you want to take a bath, you could come to my place to have one.", her eyes slowly turned to Volt. She was surprised to see that Volt had a confused and shocked look on his face "Ah?!", she exclaimed. Celina waved her arms around, her face was red, and she was extremely nervous as she yelled "NO! NO! NO! THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT! I MEAN WE CAN DO IT IF YOU WANT BUT....", she realised what she was saying "AHH!", she exclaimed before using both her palms to slam her cheeks "AHHH! WHAT AM I EVEN SAYING?!", she yelled.
