At Holland's place, Aunt May watched Peter with hopeful eyes. Peter grinned, confident. "He's coming, of course. He's one of my best friends."
A hint of hesitation flashed through Aunt May's gaze. "Doesn't he… seem different from ordinary people? Things like… being unusually strong?"
Has Aunt May figured out that Maguire is the Hellblood Demon? No way. How would she know? Did Maguire tell her? Impossible—if he'd told her, why ask me?
Peter shook his head.
Aunt May felt a small burst of joy. Peter doesn't know, but Maguire showed me what he can do. Warmth bloomed in her chest.
Back at Maguire's home, after breakfast he returned to his room to do his favorite thing—draw from the Bully System.
Eyeing the fat stack of 1,130 Bully Points, Maguire decided to upgrade his fruit. Then his face fell. "To push it to SS grade still needs 3,500 Bully Points? That's a fortune. Without a major incident, who knows when I'll hit 3,500."
After purchases, he only had 630 points left—enough for three pulls. He opened the diamond roulette and scanned the pool:
S-grade Item: Rumble-Rumble Fruit (60% developed), current tier S
S-grade Item: Dragon Talisman
A-grade Ability: Flame Power
B-grade Item: Demon Sword Apophis (DFO)
Common Item: Konoha forehead protector
B-grade Ability: Demon Back
Seeing the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, he froze. "Even at sixty percent development it's S-grade—and it can be pushed to SS."
Heart thumping, he tapped "Draw." The diamond wheel spun. A few seconds later, the pointer stopped right between Rumble-Rumble and Dragon Talisman.
The system chimed:

"Terrifying," Maguire murmured. His Devil Fruit and raw strength were already S-grade, and his speed was S-grade as well. He could crush the Red Hulk and the Abomination; as for the Hulk, once his rage hit a certain level… Even so, aside from using the Sheep Talisman to rip out a soul, he couldn't easily land a killing blow. With the Dragon Talisman, he finally could.
He still couldn't let go of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. He checked his points—430 left, two more draws.
"Turn a bicycle into a motorcycle. Again."
Spin.

"You've got to be kidding me. At least give me Demon Back…"
He glared at the Rumble-Rumble icon and roared, "Screw it—win or lose right here."
He hit "Draw" again, eyes locked on the spinning diamond wheel. The pointer slowed between Rumble-Rumble and Flame Power. His hands trembled.

He pictured a body of living lightning and grinned. Who's stronger, my thunder or the thunder god's?
He popped open his status:
