Soon, they both arrived home, Serena went into her room and quickly began to think of her next first product, but first she needed a brand name, and a line name, then she decided to do everything computed and not just start something like she did before.
So first up on her list was research which was very essential for any project, she wanted to make a lot of money so looked up the most profitable thing to sell, and it was none other than Smartphones, everyone had one these days, but that also meant sales would not be rapid, and she needed something quick in the end she decided to go with her original idea but she set the cost-price far higher than the last time, she was going to make a flagship line.
But first she needed a huge initial investment, and there was no better option than her sisters credit card, her dad refused to help her out, thinking she would fail and come to him to get her back into school, but that was nothing like what she planned on.
She called Seraphina asking for permission and her sister was actually very supportive towards her goal, she made her way to a high-end spare parts shop and bought in huge quantities everything she needed then next went to register it under her name copyrighted to Serene Technologies.
And when all that was done, she sat in her bed and took her time to work on it, making each copy with utmost care, this time round the entire process was much slower and the initial cost per unit exceeded $8,000 so she decided to sell each unit for $10,000 making the best data storage unit for smartphones since it could actually hold 1TB which was thousand times the storage capacity of the low-end version.
Moreover, appearance wise these chips looked much more stylized, they were pale pink, and had white and silver ports, the design might not resonate with boys but it was practically over appearance… right? In the end she made a different design for boys with a pale blue overall but the ports were the same colors.
Soon she was done, after making around hundred copies then decided to open up her own shop, she named it Serene Technologies, and the whole place was black and white with silver here and there, then she used all the money left to by a mass number of raw materials and stocked it in the shop.
Then she displayed the products in a see-through unbreakable glass while most of them were in the shop, she sat at the reception desk while making more data storage unit's expecting someone to come around.

In the school, as soon as Seraphina set foot on the campus, she was eyed like a celerity, the first thing on her in the newspaper obviously the extra weight, though it was not that much of a difference it was noticeable.
Her previously generic waist was soft, and now her curves in various places were plumper, her skin also looked less healthy and her hair was less healthy, it was obvious she had been through a lot.
As soon as she got into the school, she went straight to her class, sat in her desk and did not talk to a soul, the desk she sat on helped people identify who it was, but the way she acted was completely different.

Which was actually pretty good, since in Ravensville the cost of living was very low, high school graduates usually got half to three quarters what she was offering, but she made it like so due to the workload she was going to place on these individuals.
Soon people lined up the premises, which was still mostly empty, but her office had a table and seats, In the end she hired two people from Raven High, and a sales assistant from Den Ridge, all with straight A's, but she was still going to test if they were ready, after the selection she gave them each legal papers to sign.
But the terms were the strictest, for just the position of an assistant, it stated they needed to work 100 extra hours, aside from their daily ten hours if they wanted to get promoted to analyst, and also get a degree, then their salary would be doubled but the next promotion demanded 200 extra hours, and next 500, then after that 1,000, moreover it included secrecy, and many other things, these terms were usually given to upper echelons, but promotion wasn't always guaranteed in other places, but what she said next shocked them,
"At the end of the year, the employee of the year would not only receive an award but also a promotion, so I encourage all of you to strive hard, even if you refuse to sign this document do not disclose its contents to a soul"
In the end after careful deliberation two of them signed, but the sales person said she'll need more time, and hence Serena used that day to show the person in engineering how to make the chip, then the chip would be proof tested by the programmer, so once everything was said and done she placed a monitor, to check if they were actually working, in a year their leave days were 50, which was a month, a week, and a day. But if they used them to work, they'd get in half of their promotion requirement, which was really hard to accumulate, but the pay they received was what made everything worth it.
That day she remained there, guiding everyone and monitoring everything, soon evening time came and she had to be in the house. She made sure to stay until everyone left, they closed up getting close to midnight, that day after returning home, Seraphina was mad, Serena used 729 million, that was almost everything on it, and it would take a whole month for her father to deposit another billion into her bank.
But Serena reassured her she was confident in paying back every single penny, the next day everything was in order, all the units finished were on display, and she had posted it on the net, so it was just a matter of time, for customers to come in, the Den Ridge student had not arrived, so Serena had to stand in for her.
The sales were not as rapid due to the high prices, but for those who could afford it, it was worth it, on that day she sold only one, and made $2,000 in net profit, but she was expectant on more customers being able to afford them.
The week passed by in a flash, and on Saturday she met up with all the staff, and that was when the sales person brought in the signed document.
For that whole week they made profit around $10,000 but that was far from their total cost, so they discussed what's next on the shelves, they wanted to create something new with more customer attraction, and that was when a repairs department was suggested, so they would hire another person to fill that role the next week, then Serena would generate an idea, and get it copywritten before presenting it to them, on making a smartphone.
With the passing of the days, strangely things were settled, and soon business was good, she sold out everything in that month and the total profit was $1,000,000. All her employees were paid including the lawyer, making the total loss $4,000 then she took out $2,000 for herself and everything else, which totaled to $994,000 she gave to her sister. At that time the smartphone idea was already perfected and she had it copywritten to Serene Technologies under her name, that meant they were going to be producing phones, but she was out of materials again. She had to take $94,000 from what she was giving to her sister to make phones, and chips, but the raw materials could only make 9 phones, which could each sell for over $20,000 despite the low-cost price of $10,000 so in the end she sold it for $15,000 and they sold out quickly, then restocked, the repair department was hired and at this point business was smooth.
She finally set her own financial foothold and would build up on it with time.
