Clad tells him to cooperate, as it would be bad if dragons and elves waged war against each other over something as little as he calls it a "flying in a 'no-flight zone" which makes the dragon give him a mean look before wagging his tail away from his hand.
Tsk!
"Fine, and don't ever grab my tail again!"
Clad apologizes for his behavior, but the queen doesn't mind, as there was no way he would have known that he was like this anyway.
"So Jun, where are you from?" She asks him as she tilts her head to the side.
"I am from Hardrath, the land of the dragons."
"How far is this Hardrath from here?"
"Really, really far, I've been flying at really high speeds for almost a week before I ran into a group of flying metal objects. These bastards attacked me the second they saw me!"
"Those things were Warjets, and they are machines created by humans for aerial combat," Clad tells him.
"I don't care what they are! What kind of fool would even try to provoke a dragon!?"
"Hmmm..." Clad was thinking of what to do when the queen suddenly caught his attention as she asked the guards to lead Jun outside, as she needed to talk to Clad one-on-one, which Jun surprisingly followed without making a scene, and the queen asked Clad for a favor.
"What's the favor?"
"My scout has already located the place that the soldiers of the rat king call Namska."
!
"That fast? Flower me impressed." Clad says.
"Thank you, it is my personal scout squad after all," Sheimer replied with a smug and confident look on her face.
"But those guys are a danger to our kingdom, and they clearly don't seem to be here for trade but for the conquest of my kingdom instead."
"So may I ask you to take down the Rat King for me?"
"What?" Clad said while raising an eyebrow.
"In exchange, I'll grant you a portion of land in Fexivia." Clad thinks about it for a few seconds, agreeing to it as he thinks it's pretty much free land.
"Hmmm, alright"
