Jigen roared.
The injuries on his body had seriously worsened, if he couldn't break through the shield, then only death awaited him.

Ignis's mocking voice rang out.
The next second, a gust of wind blew, and his figure disappeared.
Jigen was greatly shocked, hurriedly turning around to flee.
But he felt a burst of severe stinging pain spread throughout his body.
His back was pierced by a pitch-black sword light.
An entire transparent hole was left in his back.
"Ah!"
Jigen let out a shrill scream, his body uncontrollably falling forward.
And in his vision, a phantom figure shrouded in dark golden armor appeared.
A sword slashed down.
All of this happened too fast, making it impossible for Jigen to defend.
His body was cut in two with a sword.

Jigen once again let out a wail.
He struggled to raise his head, looking at the phantom figure.
It was a giant samurai statue more than three meters tall, wearing dark golden armor, holding a wooden staff in his left hand, and wielding
a pitch-black long sword in his right hand.
"Just what kind of monster are you!!!" Jigen asked through gritted teeth.
"You'll be able to see it soon."
Ignis grinned, raising his right hand, black flames surging.
A ball of scorching black flames, appeared on the Black Flame Sword.
Jigen's face stiffened.
What was Ignis planning to do?
Was he preparing to use the Black Flame Sword to directly split his soul?
"I won't give up!"
Jigen roared.
His soul was trembling, but he endured it.
Even the threat of death, didn't make him yield, didn't make him choose to run.
Because, within this, he still had a glimmer of hope.
That was, Ignis wouldn't really kill him.
What he needed, was to obtain secrets about the Mangekyō Sharingan.
As long as he still had value, he had to survive, otherwise, wouldn't his plan be ruined?
Jigen wasn't willing to let his plan come to naught.

The Black Flame Sword slashed down with raging black flames, fiercely striking Jigen's soul.

A ball of firelight flickered, as if something was about to be extinguished.

Jigen laughed loudly.
The Black Flame Sword, after all, didn't sever his soul.
"Hehe."
Ignis only let out two chuckles.
His right hand suddenly grabbed the Black Flame Sword and pulled down, the Black Flame Sword's blade deeply inserting into Jigen's shoulder.
A smear of scarlet blood splattered out.
Jigen's right arm was forcibly torn off, blood flowing horizontally.
The black flames continued down along the Black Flame Sword's blade, soon touching a crystal clear, diamond-like gem.
Jigen's eyes widened to the limit.
That crystal clear gem, was his Mangekyō Sharingan.
It had actually been activated!
"Hahahaha! Ignis, you really are a genius, the gem that I couldn't activate even with all my efforts, was actually activated by you in this way."
Jigen laughed loudly.
Ignis's expression changed constantly.
This Jigen, had simply pushed him to the brink.
How could this guy activate the Mangekyō Sharingan?
Ignis remembered Jigen saying that he had once obtained the inheritance of some big shot in certain ruins, obtaining the Mangekyō Sharingan, and had walked all the way to today.
According to common sense, shouldn't the Mangekyō Sharingan be sealed in some special place?

Jigen only felt that the chakra within his body was like a tide pouring into that flame, then flowing back from the other end, being sucked into the flame vortex.
The flames of the Black Flame Sword became more and more exuberant and scorching.
