Chapter 143 - Senti Says: “Can’t Coax Me? Then Go Play Alone!”

Elysia kept the stream rolling while the story pressed on.

Otto and Li Sushang traded words, but the one thing everyone wanted—how he'll bring Kallen back—stayed wrapped in riddles.

"Time stored by the Imaginary Tree can be re-activated by the energy inherent to time itself."

"A Herrscher's manipulation of higher dimensions can be induced along the time axis to cause a directed fission."

Elysia: "…Huh?"

Eden (reading it again, slower): "…He's doing it on purpose."

Barrage exploded:

[Get lost, riddle-man!]

[Calling him "Otto the dog bastard" isn't wrong, right?]

[Is there a suicide option? I wanna see Otto get beat up.]

[Otto, taste my sword!]

Sushang, palm to forehead, gave up on understanding and defaulted to jianghu logic.

"Fine—wrong question. You've saved my life more than once. I've boarded your pirate ship; I'll see it through."

"But if your plan hurts others, I'll repay and then I'll collect."

Otto spread his arms like an easy target.

"You could settle it now."

She sighed.

"Paying new debts kills old grace—that's not how the rivers and lakes work."

Otto smiled, utterly unbothered.

"Relax—I'm terrified of dying. Why else cling to life for five hundred years?"

He checked the time.

"Come. There's a live global broadcast I want you to see."

Cut to Anti-Entropy. After morning drills, Fu Hua ran into Dr. Einstein. Small talk wandered through past and present… and for the first time ever, Einstein's cheeks actually pinked. Chat instantly went full gossip:

[Einstein × Joyce is real?!]

[The Doctor blushed?! Screenshot it!]

A quick status card dropped for the Herrscher of Knowledge: two months ago, after Herrscher X was defeated, stolen authorities returned to their cores. The HoK's power flowed back… and then she severed every link, turning her core into a pretty paperweight. She also left a note:

"I don't want to hear a single word of apology from that old fossil. Too mushy. It'll weigh down my journey."

Elysia cackled. Eden's lips curved. Everyone pictured the same scene—Senti zipping a suitcase, muttering:

[I'm pissed off, okay? You can't calm me down! Let's just block each other, you fossil!]

Barrage:

[Senti: You f—... (censored)]

[Shangxian, go learn how to calm a child already]

[Without the Herrscher of Sentience, can Shangxian still fight her grand-disciple?]

[Patriarch Taixu vs. S-Rank Grand-Disciple? My money's on the Shangxian]

[Stop guessing and keep reading!]

The Broadcast. Otto Apocalypsis to the entire world:

"Friends everywhere—our Earth faces cyclical disasters called Honkai…"

He did the unthinkable: told everyone. No more "unknown incidents," no more half-truths. Then:

"Humanity is entering a new epoch—from defense to offense. We will drive Honkai out of our world."

"Effective immediately, I resign as Overseer of Schicksal. My successor—Far East Branch leader Theresa Apocalypsis—will assume command."

Silence. Shock. And then the fine print: a venue for the investiture… and a convenient reason to gather there—the "retrieval" of the Herrscher of Domination's core.

A trap flashing like neon.

They knew—and still had to go.

Players knew too: the story was hitting terminal velocity. Fourteen Herrschers total; the Eleventh loomed in every breadcrumb from the Elysian Realm—the infamous "Tragedy of Constraint."

The board is set.

Otto has moved his king into check on purpose.

And somewhere off-screen, Senti hums, suitcase in hand: If you can't coax me… go play by yourself.

[Whoa—already the 11th Herrscher? Does that mean the story's about to end?]

[Probably… not? It's only been half a year since launch.]

[Even if it "ends," Honkai 3rd will keep updating, right?]

[Maybe slower—events, collabs with Genshin…]

[Weirdly sad. Just half a year and I'm hooked.]

[Same. If it ends, I'll miss it like crazy.]

[It's called "Honkai 3rd." Were there 1 and 2?]

[miHoYo only has three games here; the other two aren't "Honkai."]

[Maybe 1 & 2 were scrapped? Next will be "Honkai 4"?]

[If 4 happens, please let it continue 3's story QAQ]

[Guys… maybe watch the episode first??]

Hearing the mood slide into melancholy, Eden smiled at chat. "Every banquet ends; stories do too. The trick is to savor now, not brood over yesterday or tomorrow."

Elysia peeked at the comments and giggled. "Hehe~ I don't think it'll end that fast."

"Mm? You know something? Did Mr. Mo Li tell you?" Eden asked.

Elysia shook her head, all mischief. "I'm guessing~ The boss said we'll have a grown-up Bronya later. But right now Bronya's still a kid… so the story should last at least until she grows up, right? And the Elysian Realm has barely started—there's tons of pre-civilization lore to tell~"

That snapped the audience out of their gloom. Right—Honkai 3rd isn't just about Herrschers; it's about the Valkyries who fight for everything beautiful. Even if we reach Herrscher No. 14 someday, that doesn't mean the story ends.

With the room steadied, Elysia pushed the plot.

From Otto's chat with Amber, it's clear he's baiting Theresa and the others to the old Schicksal site—with a plan already set. In his own words:

"For this gamble, more extravagant than life and death, I've prepared everything I possibly can."

Perspective switches to Theresa aboard the Hyperion en route to Krolostein. On deck: Kiana, Fu Hua, Tesla, and the rest, the destination still over an hour away. Free-roam kicks in; Elysia (piloting Theresa) jogs straight to Kiana to talk.

At first it's soft and sunny—Kiana's tone is lighter now, the banter easy. It feels like the opening chapters again—until the Hyperion glides past a snow-capped range.

"Say, Headmistress, you know European geography, right? That peak out there… is it the Alps?" Kiana asks.

Theresa nods, smiling. "Yup~ The old Schicksal HQ sits on an eastern spur. Before the floating archipelago was built, this air-route was busy…"

But Kiana's eyes have gone distant—memories from the Herrscher core surfacing. She was nine then, freshly rescued by Siegfried, small and confused… and there was her.

"Back then… the old HQ also housed equipment for the K-series clone program, didn't it?" Kiana cuts in, voice very calm.

Theresa's heart lurches. "Eh—Kiana, you… remember all that?"

The warm deck-chat chills. Viewers groan—not the knives again. Still, Kiana doesn't flinch.

"More like I saw memories left inside the core," she says. "At nine I didn't understand anything. I only remember Dad pulling me out of the bad guys' hands… I didn't even know I wasn't his biological daughter."

Theresa hurries to soothe her. "You are his daughter—Kiana Kaslana. Let the past stay past, okay?"

Kiana breathes in. "Maybe… that's what Dad wanted, too. By giving me her name, he wanted me to remember the kindness she left in this world."

Chat explodes with guesses.

["Her"… the real Kiana?]

[Rumors said she died… or Otto kept her for experiments… or she's Durandal…]

[Is this the hard confirm??]

Kiana's voice softens, a little hoarse.

"I had the same face as her. Otto stole her genes to make a vessel—me, a modified clone. But she never blamed me. She treated me like a little sister. She and Dad broke my chains… and then, to protect me…"

Every viewer feels it hit. A true Kaslana: kind, forgiving—and doomed.

Theresa swallows. "I… know. Grandpa once lied to me that after the incident your 'sister' was receiving special treatment at HQ. But…"

Kiana closes her eyes. "According to what I saw in the core, after that incident… she was already… gone. Not in this world anymore, right?"

Silence. Weight.

And then the flood:

[Kill! Otto, you dog!!]

[Die, you bastard—]

[So it's confirmed—the real Kiana is dead?]

[There'll be a twist… right?]

[Didn't even debut and I still got stabbed QAQ]

[Calling it: they'll bring her up again just to cut us deeper…]

[I can take knives, but please stop stabbing our Kiana QAQ]

[Thinking about real Kiana now… she's so pitiful QAQ]

[Can't we just have happy chapters??]

[Yeah… poor real Kiana. Otto must die.]

[miHoYo please be human QAQ]

On the horizon, Krolostein waits. Otto's stage is set; the lights are already hot. Whether this is "confirmation" or just the setup for a crueler truth, the name Kiana has become more than a wound—it's an oath to the kindness the real one left behind.
