Chapter 325 - Yasakani no Magatama Wrapped in Light

Chapter 325 – Yasakani no Magatama Wrapped in Light

"Are you saying you're already satisfied with playing around?" Ōtsutsuki Isshiki stared at Hatake Yusuke with a dark expression, his voice cold and heavy.

At that moment, he felt an overwhelming sense of humiliation. The only way to soothe the rage boiling inside him was to kill the mortal standing before him.

The aura around Ōtsutsuki Isshiki grew even more terrifying. The immense power he released made the very space around him let out a faint, mournful cry. Dark purple energy twisted and coiled around his entire body like living shadows.

"Yes. Your level only barely reaches the Six Paths tier. I don't really care much about things like power rankings, but the gap between you and me is just too big," Yusuke said calmly, his face completely relaxed.

"Mortal… you're far too arrogant." Ever since being ambushed by Kaguya, he had never felt emotions like this.

Even when he faced Uchiha Madara, he remained composed, as if everything was still under his control. He never once considered Madara a real threat, because he was confident he could crush him whenever he wanted.

But the man in front of him now was different. The power he possessed felt deep and immeasurable, making Isshiki sense real danger for the first time.

More importantly, this man's personality was unbelievably irritating.

Hatake Yusuke didn't respond. No matter what he said, it wouldn't be believed anyway. The best way to explain the difference between them was with his fists.

Yusuke shifted his body slightly. In the next instant, his form broke apart into particles of light and vanished from Isshiki's sight.

Before Isshiki could even finish being shocked, Hatake Yusuke had already appeared at his side and launched a kick.

By the time Isshiki realized what had happened, his body was already being flung away at terrifying speed.

From his perspective, all he saw was a flash of golden light before being violently sent flying. Even as that devastating attack landed on him, he felt no pain at all.

Ōtsutsuki Isshiki was kicked away at the speed of light, smashing straight into a distant mountain.

The mountain collapsed instantly, a massive crater forming where his body crashed through it.

"Cough… cough… how can he be this strong… he's clearly just a mortal human… cough… why…?" Isshiki muttered in disbelief, dust and debris drifting around him.

"Still not coming out?" Hatake Yusuke floated in the air, lifting the cloth covering his eyes and looking down at Isshiki, who was still buried in the ruins.

"Then… Yasakani no Magatama," Yusuke said calmly.

His entire body transformed into radiant golden light.

The blinding glow wrapped around him, and from all around his form, countless bullets of light fired outward in every direction, streaking through the sky like a storm of falling stars.

Five minutes later, Hatake Yusuke finally stopped.

The massive mountain that once stood before him was completely gone, reduced to fine dust that slowly faded into the empty space.

"His aura hasn't weakened at all? That's impressive," Yusuke said flatly.

On the ground, Isshiki stared up at Hatake Yusuke in the sky, his eyes filled with shock and fury.

He could feel it clearly now.

Those light bullets couldn't be absorbed.

Even if he could absorb them, he wouldn't dare to. Their speed was far too fast, and the moment they made even the slightest contact, they detonated instantly.

"Not bad. After taking an attack like that, you're completely unharmed. Are you still hiding some kind of trump card?" Yusuke looked at Isshiki with genuine interest.

He knew very well that the attack just now would have pierced Kaguya full of holes.

Yet Ōtsutsuki Isshiki stood there without a single scratch.

"Bastard…" Hearing those words, Isshiki's expression twisted into something complicated.

The reason he was angry was simple.

He truly didn't have any trump cards left.

When he saw that attack earlier, he had actually planned to use his space-time ninjutsu, but the barrage had been far too fast.

Before he could even activate it, those bullets of light seemed to have eyes of their own, weaving around his body.

One of them even brushed past his cheek.

But not a single one hit him.

Meanwhile, every mountain around him was completely erased.

The entire time, he could only stand there and watch.

At first, he thought the man had deliberately missed.

But now, he was certain of something else.

This man's accuracy was just genuinely terrible.

Hatake Yusuke noticed the strange change in Isshiki's expression and fell into confusion himself.

What was this guy thinking?

A moment later, Yusuke's own face darkened.

Because a very unlikely possibility crossed his mind.

During that massive area-covering attack just now…

Not a single light bullet had actually hit Isshiki.

"That can't be right… does this move really only trap people instead of hitting them? That many light bullets, and not a single one landed. I should've used Observation Haki to lock onto the target," Yusuke muttered, his expression growing gloomier by the second.

To be fair, this wasn't entirely his fault.

He had assumed that with such a wide range of coverage, it would be impossible for anyone to escape. So he didn't bother using Observation Haki to lock on.

He hadn't even used his advanced vision at all.

"Figures. You really live up to it. You monkey actor… I'll acknowledge you as the strongest shadow actor. Even your ultimate move is something you developed just for acting," Yusuke complained silently in his heart.

Meanwhile, Isshiki had no idea what Hatake Yusuke was thinking.

All he wanted now was to take the Ten-Tails and escape as fast as possible.

Once he found a suitable vessel, he would come back and kill this man himself.

As Isshiki was thinking of ways to retreat, the man in the sky suddenly looked like he had fallen into deep thought instead.

"Did I forget something?" Yusuke's expression turned slightly serious.

"What was it again?" he murmured.

About a minute passed.

"Ah, right. I was supposed to buy sweets to apologize to Tsuna. Damn it… damn it… if Tsuna gets back and sees I'm still not home, she's going to be furious," Yusuke said to himself.

Under Isshiki's utterly confused gaze, Hatake Yusuke's body vanished from sight.

"What does that even mean?" Isshiki couldn't understand his actions at all.

He was clearly about to lose… so why did the man just leave?

"Whatever. This body is already close to its limit. Looks like I need to find a suitable vessel as soon as possible," Isshiki muttered, frowning.

The scene shifted.

"Kurenai, we're back. Come take a look—we bought baby clothes," Tsunade called out cheerfully.

"Tsunade-nee, the baby isn't even born yet. There's no need to rush buying clothes, right? We don't even know if it's a boy or a girl," Kurenai said with a gentle smile, one hand resting on her belly.

"That won't do. Things like this need to be prepared in advance. It's better to be ready than to regret it later," Tsunade replied without hesitation.

"She's right, Kurenai. What Tsunade-nee says makes sense. If we end up not having time to buy good ones later, that'll just cause more trouble," Konan added with a soft smile.

"Where's that bastard Yusuke?" Tsunade asked, holding up a small outfit in her hands.

"Him? I don't know either. Relax—since Tsunade-nee has already spoken, I'm sure he wouldn't dare run off to flirt with other women," Kurenai said, smiling.

"Flirt with other women? Do you really think he's capable of something like that?" Tsunade replied indifferently.

"Then why are you still this angry, Tsunade-nee?" Kurenai asked.

"Hmph. This is just so he understands my attitude. He better not forget who's in charge at home," Tsunade said dismissively.

"Konan-nee, how's your husband doing?" Kurenai asked, turning to look at Konan.

"Th-that… yeah, he's doing pretty well," Konan's face turned red as memories of that night surfaced. The blush on her cheeks grew even deeper.

After that, Konan gave a rough summary of what had happened—of course, not every detail.

"I really didn't expect someone as stiff as him to say things that sweet. But now that I think about it, aside from Tsunade-nee, weren't all of us the ones who confessed first?" Kurenai said, her tone carrying a hint of dissatisfaction.

To be honest, she was also extremely jealous of Tsunade.

After all, she and Hatake Yusuke were childhood friends.

They had known each other since they were little.

She had even once believed that she would be the first to step into Yusuke's heart.

But in the end, the one who reached his heart first…

Was Tsunade.
