Hazel's POV
The room was filled with absolute silence and there wasn't a single sound, not even from the insects inside this creeping and broken dungeon. It was as if everything were at a standstill and everyone was holding their breaths, well, except me.
The ominous room that was deprived of any sound increased fear in their heart of the guards around. The dimly lit room was getting more tense and the atmosphere was almost suffocating.
"What are you still waiting for?" Liam growled as he looked over at the guards that were still hesitating to attack. His deep and annoying voice broke the lovely silence and my eyes snapped towards his direction.
He was gritty with his teeth as he looked at the guards with a frown etched across his face. It was obvious that he wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible, which only meant that he was scared as well but was trying to conceal it with a bold face.
