Chapter 300 - Endgame Tony Stark - Has This Timeline Gone Bonkers?

Unlike the others, he hadn't experienced the Battle of New York from the first *Avengers* movie. Back then, he was just an ordinary civilian, too busy running for his life to pay attention to the battlefield. That's why he couldn't understand, and he started questioning the group.

The three exchanged glances. This world was a little upside down, completely different from what they knew.

For Tony Stark, the even more absurd thing was seeing Mark Armors flying in the distance. His first thought was that it must be his 2012 self. But upon closer inspection, it was even worse than his initial impression, because more problems arose. First, the models were wrong. Second, there wasn't just one Mark Armor.

He remembered that before the Battle of New York, he hadn't had so many Mark Armors. At that time, the development of the Mark Armor was just beginning, and he hadn't had such a great need for them. He hadn't even considered fighting aliens back then.

Because the battles he faced were mostly small-scale skirmishes, one suit of battle armor, or at most two, had been more than enough.

It wasn't until after the Battle of New York that he truly felt the fragility of his own power. How could he face such formidable beings as the Chitauri, who possessed superior technology and overwhelming numbers?

After that painful lesson, Tony Stark resolved to develop a series of Mark Armors, which he preserved.

But now, before the Battle of New York even took place, he had already witnessed multiple Mark Armors in action, at least several of them soaring through the sky.

*This world has gone mad, hasn't it? This timeline... it's completely broken.*

After a moment's thought, Tony Stark decided he needed to figure out what was going on.

"Friday, connect to the network and contact Jarvis," he commanded.

At this point in time, Jarvis should still be around. Ultron's uprising wouldn't happen until later.

*Even if this timeline is this messed up, it's not so messed up that Jarvis is gone and only Ultron remains, right?*

"Hello, Mr. Stark. It's a pleasure to be of service!"

Jarvis's voice echoed in Tony Stark's ear.

The AI showed no surprise or confusion at the sudden appearance of another Tony Stark.

After all, he was just an Artificial Intelligence, not a real human. As long as he confirmed that this was indeed Tony Stark, that was enough.

His AI hadn't yet developed to the point where it could be astonished like a human at the sight of two Tony Starks.

Hearing this, Tony Stark immediately breathed a sigh of relief. He still had Jarvis's authorization, which made many things much easier.

"Jarvis!" Endgame Tony Stark said.

"Yes, sir!" Jarvis replied. "However, sir, according to my records, you shouldn't be at your current satellite location."

"I'm Tony Stark from the future, from a few years from now," Tony Stark said after a moment's thought.

"Tony..." Captain Rogers, hearing Tony Stark so readily reveal his secret, glanced at him with concern. "Tony, this could expose us. We can't interfere with time, do you understand?"

"It's fine. Jarvis has served me for many years; he won't betray me," Tony Stark said. "After we leave, I'll have Jarvis erase all records of our presence."

"Yes, sir, I will not reveal your secret. Have you traveled through time to arrive at this point?" Jarvis replied. "Though this outcome is also quite unexpected."

"Yes, sir, you have such authority. However, I must point out that I cannot act without the permission of the other Mr. Stark. You both share the same level of authority!" Jarvis reminded him.

"If you don't say anything, how would he ever know?" Tony Stark said. "I am now using my primary authority to command you: unless he discovers our existence, you are not to mention our presence!"

"Understood, sir!" Jarvis agreed.

Tony Stark had exploited a logical loophole. Even his brilliant mind hadn't anticipated that someone from the future would appear, seize his primary authority over Jarvis, and even enlist Jarvis's help in concealing their tracks.

Normally, he would be the sole primary authority holder.

But then he wondered if a future version of himself might have used Jarvis before. He'd have to investigate that thoroughly.

"Friday," Tony Stark said.

"Yes, Mr. Stark," came the voice of another AI, Friday.

"If anything like this happens again, you are to notify me immediately. Don't pretend you don't know. I am the primary authority holder, understand?" Tony Stark immediately shut down any possibility of his future self from another timeline trying to usurp his primary authority.

"Understood, Mr. Stark. You are the primary authority holder. Any privileges held by your counterparts in other timelines can only be subordinate to yours," Friday replied.

"That's more like it!" Tony Stark finally said, satisfied.

"Jarvis, I need to know what the hell is going on here. Why were later models of the Mark Armor suddenly developed?"

"Access the database. Find out how many Mark Armor files there are!"

Soon, Tony Stark saw the information he wanted in his smart glasses, including data on Mark Armors that should have appeared in later eras. Though not identical to the Mark Armors he had developed himself, the lineage was unmistakable—similar concepts, materials, and design principles.

There was still a slight difference: the battle armor he had developed at this point, and for a long time afterward, leaned toward personal combat. However, much of what he had developed at this earlier stage was geared toward the battlefield, emphasizing high-intensity firepower, more powerful energy sources, and sturdier frames.

These designs were labeled as general-purpose battlefield models, not prepared for small-scale engagements.

Beyond that, there was also data on the Iron Soldier, which was nearly identical to what he had developed.

But the real shock came when he discovered research materials on the Extremis Virus, including data on various versions of the virus. He could now access all of it.

Originally, this was the most sensitive data, accessible only to Tony Stark himself. No one else could have possibly known about it. But a bug had occurred—another Tony Stark had appeared.

So when he saw this data, he was stunned.

*This doesn't make sense. This is just me from a little over a decade ago. How could I have suddenly advanced so much?*

*This progress is clearly problematic.*

What was even more absurd was that he saw the Spider-Man suit he had developed for Little Spider, still in its Iron Spider Armor form. Of course, it was an incomplete version, lacking the crucial nanotechnology.

He saw his own research on nanotechnology at this point in time, but it had only just begun.

And under the "User" section, it read "Unknown."

*This doesn't make sense,* he thought. *Little Spider won't be recruited by me until the Civil War years from now. How could I already be making battle armor for him?*

Although it was still just textual data, with no physical prototype yet—and would require mature nanotechnology to be realized—this was completely different from what he remembered.

At this time, Peter Parker should still be a child, attending school.

But soon, he saw the completed development files for the Hulkbuster Armor, and even a prototype that had already been built.

Yet he didn't build the Hulkbuster Armor until after the Battle of New York.

Beyond that, there was also the Thor-Buster Armor, the Scarlet Witch-Buster Armor, the Quicksilver-Buster Armor...?

*What the hell is this? Aren't those two still with Hydra right now? How do I already know about them?*

He casually flipped through the files and realized that his past self clearly knew about Wanda and Pietro's abilities, as these anti-series armors were highly targeted.

"Jarvis, I need to know how many anti-series battle armor databases I've established," Tony Stark said.

Hearing the phrase "anti-series battle armor," Dr. Bruce Banner turned his head to look over. He was well aware of the Hulkbuster Armor, and in fact, he had played a part in its creation.

He was practically one of a kind in the Avengers. As for Captain Rogers, sorry, he didn't make the cut—he simply wasn't qualified.

"Sir, does that include all anti-series battle armors, from those already built to those in the design and inspiration stages?" Jarvis replied.

"Yes, every single anti-series battle armor," Tony Stark answered.

"Understood, sir." Jarvis quickly compiled the data.

"Hulkbuster Armor, Thor-Buster Armor, Scarlet Witch-Buster Armor, Quicksilver-Buster Armor, Doctor Strange-Buster Armor... Wait, what's this about Doctor Strange?" Tony Stark scrolled through the data, finding the entry for the Doctor Strange-Buster Armor. It was mostly just a concept, however, since he had very little understanding of magic. The armor's file was essentially just a placeholder.

Under the same category, there was even an Ancient One-Buster Armor...

"What's this Ancient One?" Tony Stark stared at the database records in shock. While he hadn't come up with a way to counter the Sorcerer Supreme, the information about Ancient One itself had stunned him.
