There was no doubt about it — Dayo recognized her voice instantly.
Still, a question lingered in his mind.
Why?
He smirked lightly at himself, as if pretending he didn't already know the answer, then let out a quiet sigh. Turning toward Suyin, he said calmly,
"I'll be right back. Let me see who it is."
Taking a deep breath, Dayo walked to the door and opened it, positioning his body in a way that blocked the entrance.
Alice stood there.
She had changed from what she wore earlier. Now she was dressed in a red, slim-fitted gown that hugged her curves perfectly. One glance was enough for Dayo to tell she was wearing nothing underneath.
He hid his reaction well.
With a faint smirk, he asked,
"Ah, Alice… to what do I owe this visit?"
Alice narrowed her eyes slightly. She hadn't expected that response. From the look in Dayo's eyes, she knew he understood exactly why she was there. His act only amused her more.
