The video was already done.
Not almost done. Not halfway. Not something that still needed direction. The full edit sat on the screen exactly the way it was meant to be, arranged, structured, balanced. Every cut had been made based on what Dayo had shown him earlier, every transition placed with intention, every moment lined up with the sound in a way that no longer felt random.
Shina sat alone in front of the system, the room quiet around him except for the low hum of the laptop fan. He hadn't played it yet since finishing the final export. For some reason, he just sat there staring at the file like he needed to prepare himself before pressing play.
His fingers hovered over the mouse for a second, then he clicked.
