One week after The Door You Built dropped, Luna sat in the JD Records conference room with a first-week report in front of her and both hands wrapped around a cup of tea she had barely touched.
She had slept properly the night before for the first time since release day. Amanda had made sure of it by taking her phone away at midnight and refusing to return it until breakfast. Luna had complained, but not with much strength. Part of her had wanted someone else to be responsible for stopping.
Now the numbers were official enough for the team to discuss.
Alice stood beside the screen. Sharon had the platform report open on her laptop. Wayne sat near the wall with a notebook on his knee, quieter than usual. Dayo was beside Luna, not at the head of the table.
That small choice had become normal over the last week. When the meeting was about Luna, he let it stay that way.
Alice started with the clean summary.
