Solace's POV
Solace carefully watched the match happening before him.
He was glad that Vivi and Lily at least are on the same page now, but there was something strange happening. He didn't know what this feeling was or where it came from, but he felt like something was off. Sure It was a good thing that both of the sisters had made up, or at least are on the path to mend their relationship, but this was supposed to happen way later in the story, after the end of the first year, when Damien would have been defeated. And we were currently giving midterms.
Things were truly moving fast, at least according to Solace, and he had a small feeling that it was because of a certain person.
His face darkened for a second, and a thought entered his mind.
'Nicole Richards'
There were plenty of things that were amiss even without his involvement.
First and foremost, Solace's Identity and his family. Just like Love, there was no character named Solace in the novel. That is why he first suspected Love to be a transmigrator too.
The important point that was bugging Solace's mind was that his little siblings are half angels. Yes Half-Angels!
After gaining eyesight, the first thing he did was to appraise them with his system, and it turns out His siblings are half angels.
It was baffling. To be a half angel in an era where their entire race was wiped out thousands of years ago.
Solace scratched his chin, thinking of a reason that could relate to anything.
Anyhow, the first major thing that was strange was Solace himself and his Twin siblings.
The second major thing was the anomaly Love, which was pretty similar to his situation, too.
He didn't waste time thinking about her, as that would be pointless; he knew next to nothing except for the fact that she was a transfer second-year student from Nuan.
Moving on to the Next thing was the scenario on the Ishtara Mountain range.
There were many questions like,
Why did the church attract a layer five beast? Why is there an ancient kingdom that's related to the seal, and what is that black corruption that is affecting the Beasts there?
He could speculate on two things, among them.
Maybe the layer five incident was an accident. Maybe the king of that ancient kingdom had some role in sealing Netharis. But the corruption remained a mystery.
Now, the last thing that is equally strange as everything mentioned is the behavior of Nicole.
Nicole was a very goal-driven woman. To achieve her desired outcome, she would do anything.
This early in the story, she was trying her best to form a good relationship with Nova Kensar. Brother of the current king of Hera Lecarson Kensar. It was to form a rebellion in Hera to give the throne to Nova. It would give her the backing of another kingdom and take away the source of artifacts that the church imports.
At least that should have been her goal, but now it seems she is closely monitoring the church. Adding that with the disappearance of Damien. He concluded that she somehow knew something about the future, and funnily enough, she also is a little casual with me. That means either she knows the entire future before he transmigrated in the timeline, or she knows the future of the timeline where he was already transmigrated and knows my influence.
Things were truly out of control. "I need to have a chat with the Principal after the tournament," he said to himself.
Interrupting his train of thought, a annoucment echoed around in the arena.
